Ken's Drywall and Repairs

I am sure that my review will be written off as one of those customers who you just cannot make happy. The work completed was pretty good the price was fair. The first problem was that there was a lot of splatter on walls, trim and baseboard heaters. There were numerous places that the texture on the ceiling was left on the adjoining walls. Someone stepped in drywall mud and left footprints all over the house. The worst problem was that someone cleaned their drywall pan on the retaining wall along the sidewalk. They left globs of the drywall on the wall. Ken did offer to come and clean up the mess.

Ken and his crew were prompt, courteous, reliable, and did quality work. We will certainly call them again should we need any drywall work or repair.

A1 gave me a quote of $2,500. So far off the $800.00 I paid Ken s Drywall. Either A1 was taking advantage of a senior citizen or he didn t want the job. Either way I was insulted. Ken and Bobby did a good job. Cleanup could have been better but overall I am satisfied.

I had a very large project to get drywalled with dozens of sheets of drywall. Ken made many promises to me to assure me after his work if we so much as ran our furniture into the wall he would return to repair the damage. This could be further from the truth! We lived in the home during this drywall installation and voiced our concerns with dust. Ken promised me that Through the entire process there would be minimal to no dust. There was a half inch of dust through out the entire job site for the first entire week which was starting to settle upstairs and into our kitchen that didn?t have any drywall repairs being done! We had to wash our cups and bowls in order to eat dinner at night! Once the job was done I could when the lights were bright or bright sunny days you can see the seems of the drywall which as you could imagine was VERY disappointing. I had to call Ken to return MULTIPLE times to repair specific areas of the drywall (some had been repaired multiple times) until I had to explain to his helper ?Bobby? that the screws he installed must NOT be hitting a stud and that is why a crack kept reappearing in the ceiling?! Dont you feel a ?professional? drywall company should have figured that out instead of the homeowner tell them? I also had to tell them they cut the drywall to much and I could see the insulation behind the wall and the faceplate would NEVER cover it up and it needed more mud! (Seriously?) Now the grande finale! Bobby told me Ken said he isn?t making any money on ?this house? because Bobby has had to return too much(how horrible is this comment much less that Bobby felt compelled to share it with me) Then Bobby shares with me that he doesn?t mind coming back multiple times because Ken has to pay him every time he returns??!! Totally horrible craftsmanship, horrible customer service and unprofessional business ethics!!!!! If they do minor little repairs maybe they get lucky and that customer gives them a 5 rating, trust me when I tell you if you have a more advanced job they are useless unprofessional and a joke. I watched them work on my ring cam and saw Bobby jumping around on my brand new kitchen counters, watched them spill coffee and not wipe it up, saw them eat lunch and snacks and leave it on my floor and put the wrappers in my fireplace?! SERIOUSLY??!! Most recently i have additional cracks starting in the work they did. When I texted Ken his reply was ?I am retired? Ken you are a goddamn liar! I?ve seen recent reviews. As for Bobby he simply took it upon himself to ignore my texts and phone calls.. Thanks ?Ken?s drywall and repairs? for making my first renovation experience a horrible one!!!

Ken and his team, did a great job repairing a wall and ceiling from a DIY remodel i did. the repair was in the middle of a wall above a stairway and the ceiling above the stairs, they blended the wall so well you need to know where to look to see the repair, and the stiple on the ceiling is an exact match. Ken is very knowledgeable in his profession and they were all very professional, other than some drywall dust from sanding finish coat , you would have never known we had them in the house. my wife and I will be using his services again next spring on another project and we would highly recommend the services of Kens Drywall and

Installation quality was very good. Ken is very personable. However, they did leave a bit of a mess when they left. When the drywall was installed in the garage, it left the outlet boxes set in further and I had to obtain extenders in order to get plate covers on. Ken left this task up to me which caused me unexpected time and energy to correct the situation after his team had gone.

Ken was awesome. He was on time and worked around my schedule. He explained his work and was hard working and kind. I would highly recommend Ken for any drywall work needed. He even offered to come back and fix anything if I wasn't happy. I'm glad I called Ken.

Ken and his helper Bobby were right on time for the job. They were both professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Ken’s Drywall. 5-stars for sure!

Ken patched & dry-walled over my broken down plaster & saved me the grief of tearing the whole thing down. It looks like new in my 95 year old house.

Ken and his crew were fast and thorough. I was so glad that they were timely so we could paint the day they left. It also helped that they did a good job of cleaning up. I'll definitely be calling again for other remodeling.

It was great doing business with Ken. He explained the kind of work that needed to be done and gave me a reasonable estimate. He arrived promptly and wasted no time making the repairs. Ken was very knowledgable and takes pride in his work. Ken is also a military veteran from the Vietnam war. I'm also a military vet and was fortunate to have met him and do business with him. I would highly recommend him anyone!

Ken was very professional, showed up on time, kept to his quoted price, kept us updated and was a pleasure to work with. I am so happy with the work they did and with them as people! Honest hard working company! I have them coming back in a few months for another project!
