Description of Work: This was the fourth time we hired Rob. This last time we only needed him to finish up a couple of pieces of moulding. The first three times he put up all the window, door and base moulding in our newly renovated first floor, installed an interior barn door, installed our new wooden baseboards and also put up some board and battan moulding in our hallway. He is reliable, reasonably prices, does a great job and is very nice on top of it! I highly recommend him!

Description of Work: Rob has increased his daily rate from $200 a day to $300 a day (not 8 hour days) & said increase was due to cost of license, insurance, & having to hire a worker. Yet came to the job with his young family member.Painted ceiling moldings, hallway ceiling, & 2 French doors. The young family member painted poorly. He painted walls in the hallway as far as 6 inches below the ceiling molding he was supposed to be painting nor did he not do well painting French doors which he was first assigned to paint. Very sloppy & uneven painting. I had to request the young man to stop painting. So Rob left to take the young man home & returned the next day to complete the job.The messed up walls were not fixed. Rob said he was too tired & wound repaint them next time. Rob did repaint the ceiling moldings & the doors that were done by the young man. Rob is a great carpenter & I rate him an "A" in those type jobs.

Your points are valid and I'll consider not using my nephew for painting jobs. As far as finishing up the painting, the paint store was out of the satin Linen white paint you needed and I know I told you that. Description of Work: Rob put together a cupola from the Amish. The video said it would take 2 hours and in fact it took 2 days. Rob worked hard in impossible conditions and was a delight to work with. He stuck by his original estimate but I paid him more because it took so much longer than the Amish promised. He was prompt and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.
