Absolutely perfect
Description of Work: Needed my lock changed or re-keyed ASAP. Jerry came over immediately and re-keyed my lock and cut 10 new keys in his van. The lock was dual sided. Need a key to unlock from inside and outside. Very reasonable price and a pleasure to deal with.

Description of Work: Jerry arrived promptly and sized up the 3 problem locks immediately. One door is an Andersen sliding patio door and that lock needs to be ordered from Andersen. Jerry said he would be happy to order for me. A second lock has been stiff and the key gets stuck. Jerry showed me how the guts of the lock were an inferior product. He replaced it with a Schlage lock and it works perfectly now. A third basement door needed a lock with a handle so it could be used as an entrance/exit door. Again, Jerry replaced this quickly and efficiently . The locks were not inexpensive, and with the service call of $100 the cost was more than I had anticipated, plus we still will have another service call and the cost of the Andersen door lock. However, Jerry's expertise, professionalism ensure for me the quality of the job. I would recommend INSTALL A LOCK and would use them again.

Description of Work: Install A Lock repaired two very expensive high end Baldwin lock sets for our front entrance and side entrance. They did a great job replacing parts and repairing the high end lock sets, that was necessary because these were custom doors. They also installed lock sets in several interior doors. They were prompt, courteous and very professional, all at a reasonable cost. I would recommend them highly to everyone.

Description of Work: Front door handle and lock replaced with additional keys made. Upon leaving he noticed my storm door handle was put on wrong and fixed it. He explained everything he was going to do and as he did he he showed me. It was a pleasure dealing with this company!!

He said it would be about $375. That price was too high for what he wanted to do. I explained my lock to them, and it just wasn't what I was looking for. I told the guy that I could change the entire door for $500. Why would I want to spend that kind of money on something that I could replace the entire door?

I called and left a message. He called me back the same day and set up an appointment. He arrived on time and had all of the equipment in his truck. He was able to intall a new lock that allowed me to use my old keys. He was friendly and professional. Accepted cash, credit or personal check.
