They made moving day more of an adventure in teamwork than a chore. We laughed and chit-chatted while packing!

Hiring movers was a fantastic first decision, and I could not be happier with it. All the way through, they put me at ease and were very communicative. They were very careful with my artwork and electronics, and I appreciated that. Everything was intact and undamaged.

I valued their care for my belongings the most since they treated them as if they were their own. No matter how little, they handled it with the utmost care. That solidified my belief in them.

I had a pretty tight budget for my move and wasn’t expecting much more than basic service. But the crew went above and beyond – they showed up early, wrapped everything carefully even though I didn’t pay for full packing, and helped me secure a few last-minute loose items. I’d hire them again without hesitation!

I absolutely loved them! In addition to arriving promptly, they worked at a breakneck pace. They were very careful and skilled with all of the items, including the big furniture, fragile items, and oddly shaped boxes.

The 5 star reviews are fake! This company is a SCAM! They prey on people needing help and then take their money. They did not show up when promised, and told me the earliest they could be there was the next day, at which time I requested my deposit back because I had to leave town and at that point had no reason to trust this company with my belongings anyway. I never received a call beforehand that the truck was behind schedule and delayed possibly a full day. They refused to give the deposit back, saying they could have a truck there by 7pm, however, I never got a call that the truck arrived. They tried multiple times to get me to say that I was canceling their service, which I denied as they had not made good on the service they had led me to believe would be given, and I simply wanted my deposit back. I think this is how the company wanted this to go. They made $1000 for doing absolutely nothing. I hope that none of them can sleep at night. None of their 5 star reviews are real. There is another review site saying they all come from the same IP address in an effort to skew the average.

They worked without complaining despite the rain! Before bringing my belongings inside, they cleaned the damp boxes and wrapped them in plastic.

I hired this company’s crew recently and even though it was a local move, I didn’t want to lift everything myself this time. These movers were reliable. They showed up ready, didn’t waste time, and got the job done without damaging the walls or furniture. I’d use them again for sure!

The paperwork felt questionable from the start, and the final cost was significantly higher than the original quote—a clear bait-and-switch tactic. Customer service was largely unresponsive once the contract was signed, and follow-up was virtually nonexistent when issues arose. Despite opting for complete replacement value protection, I struggled to get updates or accountability. Transparency, consistency, and professionalism were sorely lacking. I cannot recommend Asata Van Lines in good faith, so I caution others to look closely at the fine print and verify everything before signing.

Even with all that extra precaution, the total time was surprisingly short. The final bill was fair, aligning with the initial estimate. I’ll keep them in my contacts for any future moves.

One of the delivery boxes received minor damage to its exterior but the contents inside remained undamaged. I will certainly reuse their services in the future.
