We found the service on Angie's List. He was very honest. When I asked him about upgrading, he told me that I did not need to upgrade. He told me that for what I use it for, it was perfectly fine. They took all of their things with them. They cleaned up afterwards. All of that is important to me, and they did it all. I would use them again in the future if needed.

The tech came on time, performed the repairs quickly and efficiently, and left me with two beautifully functioning, very quiet garage doors. Well worth the relatively inexpensive cost!

My garage door opener developed a quirky habit of not closing when it rained. I attempted to trouble-shoot the problem myself by lubricating the rails, adjusting the settings and checking the electric eye but nothing worked. Whenever it rained, the door would not close automatically, yet with a couple of sunny dry days, it miraculously worked again. I called Henry Allen Garage Doors after a couple of rainy days when the door was not operating and explained the quirky behavior to the manager. He set up an appointment for a technician to arrive between 1-3 pm that day. At 4 pm the technician was still not there and I made a couple of calls to find out when I could expect him. The technician called to let me know he was running late and would be at my house within the hour...he arrived a few minutes before 5 pm. As luck would have it, the garage door operated perfectly but the technician patiently looked for all the potential reasons it wouldn't close in rainy weather. He lubricated the rails, tightened all the nuts on the door, replaced two worn-out wheels and suggested adding a stabilizer bar to keep the door from warping. As the door was now operating properly, and the technician did not have the right size stabilizer bar on his truck to fit the door, I decided to wait and see if his adjustments would fix the problem long term. He suggested that I consider replacing the door at some future date, especially if the problem persisted. I found the technician to be knowledgeable, polite, patient and thorough in his diagnosis. While he could not definitively say what caused the door to stop working in rainy weather and didn't know if any of his actions would correct the problem, the end result is that I have not had any problems with the door since his visit. So, whatever he did, it seems to have fixed the problem. It was well worth the $100 to extend the life of my current door and door opener. The only negative was how long I had to wait for the technician to show up.

Great. Showed up with all parts needed, on time and were able to solve the issue in short period of time. Good value for the money.

Excellent. Received accurate estimate over the phone.. Tech called when he was on the way, as requested.. Arrived early.. He was very knowledgeable..neat and organized.. After replacing springs he adjusted and evaluated condition of the opener and made sure all moving parts were lubed as needed.. Already sent him to see my neighbor..
