We had Robert perform yet another project at our house. This was a challenging one as it was extending our kitchen and matching the previous build as closely as possible (without knowing who did the original build). As always, his work was flawless with a tremendous attention to detail, and patience in finding the proper pieces to make it work. He also added cabinets and a sink to our laundry room. Could not recommend him more greatly for any project.

We got an estimate from Robert Remodeling back in March of 2021 for a complete basement renovation. At that time we also pursued additional estimates from well-known and recommended contractors. We were simultaneously getting estimates from siding companies for our entire home and 2 garages. From our first meeting with Rob, we knew that he was the man for BOTH jobs. He continued to meet with us at least 3 more times before his start date on 9/21. During these meetings, Rob reviewed potential problems as well as made sensible and affordable design recommendations aligned with our vision for the space and our family needs. This was the first major home renovation for us since owning our home and we needed someone knowledgeable, skilled, patient, loyal, dog-friendly and most importantly, someone who valued our money and how/where it was spent as much as we did. Rob delivered on all accounts! We can honestly say that he went ABOVE and beyond from day 1. Rob and his crew fully gutted our basement, installed a gorgeous kitchen, renovated a bathroom, and installed new flooring throughout the space. Our basement is now a show stopper! Not only did his work increase our home overall value, it also increased our living space and we will benefit from the skilled workmanship and smart choices he made along the way with our family in mind for years to come. We undoubtedly made the right choice when we hired his company and, without knowing it, also made a great friend. His work ethic and meticulous nature are very rare gems in the construction industry. We cannot say enough positive things about working with Robertâ s professional remodeling. Several months back we wanted to update our detached 2 car garage and build an attic for storage and finish the inside. Having met with numerous contractors Robert stood out to us the most due to his meticulous thought process, creative ideas and his flexibility. Rather than providing us a basic quote he proposed numerous ideas on how to make the garage best suit our needs. Before even committing to Robert he wrote a detailed proposal with a variety of options, allowing us to make an educated decision based upon our budget. Once we signed up to work with him, we met several times even before beginning the project to go over the process and our wishlist. As Robert got to know us as a family he also made helpful suggestionsâ for example installing a spotlight for our dogs, installing an outlet in the garden so we could have string lights on the fence in the summertime, increasing the amps in our garage panel box, and recommending a steel beam to span our garage so we didnâ t need a support pole in the middle of the floor space. Never once did he make a decision without consulting us and went over the prices with us for modifications to the original plan. Truly transparent! His crew was nice as can be, as well as neat and tidy. They improved the overall aesthetics on the exterior of our garage by replacing broken siding and installing new lights. It was very easy to communicate with Robert via cell phone throughout the process. As they began to work we expanded our project due to the satisfaction of working with him. What originally started as structure improvements and lighting upgrade, turned into a complete makeover. We couldnâ t be happier with the result and have already begun to speak with Robert about future projects. His craftsmanship, easy going personality, and work ethic is rare within the construction world. We highly recommend using Robert and his crew for any home improvement project. Itâ s worth noting his taste in music is awesome, donâ t be surprised if you find yourself hanging out with him and the crew listening to excellent tunes.

Robert is by far the best general contractor that I have met. He was extremely helpful throughout the whole project which was a difficult one. Robert and his crew were able to deliver quality work despite difficult nature of the project and the end result was a beautiful bedroom .The service and attention to details was outstanding. We hired Robert and his company to remodel our whole garage. The work was done perfectly and we have nothing that we are unhappy about. Everything was done perfect. I would absolutely recommend Robert to anyone who needs work done on their home. We got estimates from and spoke with many contractors and home improvement companies, but we were looking for someone we could work with for this and future projects as well as someone we could speak with for advice and guidance. I tend to be very picky with the people I work with. Robert was the most straightforward, reasonable, and knowledgeable person we spoke with. His prices are great as well. He makes sure to go above and beyond so the work is completed perfectly the first time with a very high level of detail. Our home is from the mid-50s and had original siding, windows, doors, some unusual characteristics, broken old air conditioners barely held into the walls, and a lot of rot. You could feel drafts in some parts of the house and the heat would run pretty much constantly in the winter. We had a lot of work that needed to be done. Robert transformed our home from the worst looking house on the block to the best looking house on the block with new vinyl shake siding, custom doors, custom windows, custom interior window trim, exterior lighting, a new garage door, foundation repair and paint, framing, insulation, drywall installation and repair, and a bunch of other repairs along the way. He fixed numerous additional issues as the work was completed, giving us results that will last while keeping our budget in mind. It looks and feels like a brand new house. Robert and his team are also friendly and understanding. You may be reading this review in the future, but the year is 2020 and this is a very different year. My wife and I are both working from home, and our son is home too. Through the project, Robert and his team made sure to work area by area and cleaned as they moved to minimize the impact to our family. This level of care is very difficult to find. After working with Robert, I can say I will definitely work with him for all my future projects. After seeing Robert and his team working on our house and the results, our neighbors have started hiring him to take care of their various needs as well.

As a brand new homeowner, Robert came in to our home understanding the importance of our focus on the functional changes we were looking to make and our needs to save on costs. Robert came in and not only helped us understand what we could do now vs. later but also was truthful in where he thought we should spend the time and money. Not only did Robert provide stellar quality service, he explained what he was doing and how things (e.g., the boiler, the water spigot, etc.) worked so that we were knowledgeable about our home and can try and fix things ourselves as we move forward. While he was working, Robert would notice things here and there and would just help us to fix them or show us how to fix them. A few years into our homeownership, Robert came back and helped us with additional work around the house and when there was a subcontractor needed, brought in professional and knowledgeable people. At one point, we had an electrical outage and a leak, and Robert came over right away to make sure that the electric and the leak were addressed right away so we were safe. Robert is extremely reliable, personable and easy to get along with. He is proud of his work and as a result takes the time needed and puts the quality in to make sure it gets done right. Everything Robert has worked on in our home was done with expertise and quality and we are extremely happy and grateful for the work that Robert has done for us. We plan to continue to use/call on Robert and recommend him to anyone who may be looking for a contractor.

Robert was very meticulous. Had great vision and paid attention to detail. The stairs and all the finish work came out better than I can imagine. Very clean while he worked. Robert does outstanding work at a very affordable price. He went above and beyond with our project, made sure it all looked cohesive at the end. Robert did a phenomenal job on all aspects of the projects. He was especially knowledgeable in regards to the different options we might have along with costs, as well as bang for your buck.His work is flawless and long lasting. If at any point you had a question or were unsure about how something was coming out (which is common with any remodel) he has a way of assuring you, and is open to reworking things until they are to your standard. His experience also makes him a terrific sounding board to discuss ideas and possibilities before endeavoring to begin a project that may have implications that you havent considered. He is not the most expensive contractor you will find, but he offers the best value of any that we have worked with in the past. He renovated a bathroom, a living room, a dining room, stairs, and a patio door, which included siding.

I was extremely satisfied with the quality of craftsmanship as well the clean and professional manner in which Robert performed the job. He is very knowledgeable of all types of home repair. He is also very willing to explain exactly what he is going to do as well as give you several options explaining the pro and cons of each and most importantly he will not try to talk you into the most expensive option but will try to sway you to the option that best suits your needs . But he most certainly do as you choose. He is also very friendly and more than willing to stay late to get the job done.

I was pleasantly surprised when he stayed within budget. He completed the project within the timeframe that was estimated. And the Cressman ship was better than I expected as well as his ability to troubleshoot some other issues. He also would stay late until the daily project was completed if there were any obstacles that needed to be addressed

Finally a contractor that does what he says he will do! Robert made promises and kept them, was quick to respond to questions, got back to me when he said he would, and showed up when he said he would. Robert was very accommodating and interested in helping me with my project. My project was installing an exterior door that I attempted to install myself. I got the door in and working but that was about it. It didn t take long into my efforts to realize that I was in over my head. Robert s task would be to remove the door and jamb and fix my mistakes as well as perform custom carpentry inside and outside to complete the project. So it was pretty much a full install and repair minus my demo work of the old door. Robert worked throughout the entire day (and it was a cold day) with only a small break. He worked for 12 hours! Longer than we both expected, but he takes pride in doing his work the right way even if it takes more time. He was here so long that I decided to help him with small tasks the best I could. Robert taught me a lot and I started to feel like we had been working together for months. He gave me a great benefit of learning tricks of the trade that will be valuable to me in the future. I very happy with how the finished project came out! It is a custom job worth more than what I paid. Excellent work! Robert s price was a bit lower or the same as other bids but Robert s work also included much better materials than the other guys were planning to use. So it was a much better value and I m confident the finished product is better as a result. Robert does every kind of job but his specialty must be doors because it came out beautiful! Thank you!

Robert took our half bathroom and converted it into a full bathroom. This was a complete bathroom gut, reframing to enlarge the bathroom in order to fit a custom tile shower, new floor and wall tile, new plumbing and electrical, and redo ceiling area and a small entry way next to the bathroom. In the end, the bathroom looks like a million bucks and you d never know it was a remodel. From the outside all was meticulously re-installed/replaced/ or made to meld into the existing work you d never know work was done. Robert takes great care in the work he does and ensures we are happy along every step of the way. On top of reasonable pricing, he was dependable. He was here when he said he would be, didn t leave in between start to finish, and met our strict deadline as he said he would. Highly recommend him and will certainly use him again in the future. We needed closets built in a hurry after moving to our new home. Robert went above and beyond to build our new coat closet, as well as bedroom walk-in.The quality of work is the best, and he is extremely accommodating working for us continuously until completion; we went off to work feeling confident that our home was in good hands. I recently hired Robert to install a new an exterior door. I needed the projected rushed and Robert came out on Saturday and Sunday to get the job done.
