Small Handyman Jobs

I needed to redo my bedroom closet, so, of course, I looked at Angie's List. I contacted a few providers, but Scott contacted me immediately. Scott (he is the provider) came to my home, measured the closet, and gave me a very fair price. Scott arrived, tools in hand, and began working. He did an absolutely wonderful job. He was on time and left my bedroom neat and clean. I am so happy with Scott, I will be using him again in the next week or so to redo a MAJOR walk-in closet. He's the best & I definitely recommend him.

I had purchased this Big Deal for some carpentry work. When the provider arrived at my home, he informed me that what I needed done was outside his scope of expertise and he did not feel comfortable attempting perform that work. He was very polite and professional when we spoke and he arrived on time. I was really impressed that he was upfront about not being able to do the work. He is very trustworthy.

It was okay. They did what they wanted them to do. It's hard to tell because we won't know for sure if what he did solved the problem but based on what it looks like so far, he would have an A. It was supposed to take 3 hours, it only took an hour and a half so I think it might have been too much money. He delayed a few times and he wasn't available for a while.

Installed two very large and deep drawers in an existing cabinet and finished the facing of the drawers to match existing. Scott does excellent work. He's reliable, confirms appointments in advance and shows up to do the job. Neat and clean too! He brought along a pad to lay down his tools so not to scratch the floor. He spent a lot of time, reviewing with me, via email, to determine the best height for the drawers along with a cost comparison. I really appreciate the time he spent on a relatively small project and I would recommend him highly.

Scott initially showed up to take the dimensions needed for 3 pull out shelves in my kitchen cabinets. within a few weeks, he had them ready and installed and I could not be happier. I will see about Scott coming back and doing a few more pull outs for more kitchen and bath cabinets. Scott was punctual and professional and his work is very good.

Everything turned out ok except the bottom line of tiles that he couldn’t do. Something to do with spacing between the tiles. Other than that, everything was good.

Scott was very professional. He called me back within a day, and we set up an appointment for an estimate. He came on time on the day we arranged and he went right to work. He did all he said he would do. The bathrooms look fresh and clean. Scott cleaned up after himself and we were very happy with his work. I would recommend him to friends and family, and would use him for myself if needed. He was also very personable.

Scott Becker was very professional in the work he performed. He answered phone messages promptly and explained fully the work that would be done. Once a date was set for the work he called prior to coming to confirm appointment, he arrived promptly on the agreed upon time for the instillation, and the work was done exactly as he said it would be. Scott even called a few days after the installation to make sure we were happy with the job he did... which we were!!

Scott showed up on time and was very professional . He did a great job with caulking and grouting my bathtub and sink .My bathtub tiles look new again.He even cleaned everything up when he was done.

The only problem I had was when he left I noticed that the grout was not done completely around the soap dish and the tub faucet. I know that if I had lookded at the work and pointed this out to him, he would have corrected the problem. Lesson learned. Check the work before the person leaves.

First of all, let me say I purchased the coupon in December of 2012. I forgot about it until I received several emails from Angie's List asking for a review. It was now 8 months later and I called Angies' to inquire about a refund because I had not used the coupon. They suggested I call the company directly to see if the coupon would be honored. If not, they would refund the entire price. I called and without hesitation, was told, sure, no problem. It's definitely valid. Scott showed up on time, did a fabulous job, cleaned everything up and when I asked what was owned, he told me it was already paid in full. He ever gave me a hard time accepting a tip which he definitely deserved. Turns out he is a master carpenter who does regrouting and recaulking in his spare time. He installs movable shelves in pantries, etc similiar to "Shelf Genie" Not only was his work professional, he was a personable individual who took geat pride in his work. As asset to Angie's List!

Service went well. He called the night before to let us know when he would be arriving and arrived on time. Service was done well and looks really great.

I am moving and I needed a few jobs done before leaving so I bought the handyman Big Deal. This gentleman was very honest and told me that only one of the jobs I needed done he would be able to complete. He told me to cancel the Big Deal that I purchased because the job would not take three hours. He did some carpentry work to fix a storm door that needed a more permanent fix for some old insulation that was coming out.

he came on time and I showed him which bathrooms needed to be caulked. He did a fairly nice clean job. I have 2 babies in my home so he cleaned up after himself, which is great.

Ok I didn't think he was conscientious about his work and missed some spots

Scott Becker was responsive to our questions and requests, provided helpful explanations. He diligently performed the tasks agreed upon and was respectful of our house, very clean throughout his work. He did a great job for us and we will be seeking his skills again. We highly recommend him.

I used him a few weeks ago. He is a nice guy. I asked him to cut my door and make it smaller. I told him I would pay extra, but he did not charge me. He was nice. He did other jobs and he did not charge me extra.

The caulking job looked like it was done by a 3rd grader. When he shoed up about 30 mins late, he stood outside for another 15 mins chatting on his cell phone. I would never use this company again....

Your Online Handyman was good. He came in and did what he said he was going to do. There was nothing extra. He just did exactly what he said he was going to do.

The service worked out well, he performed what I wanted him to do.The thing that was annoying was that he was supposed to bring white caulking with him, and he didn't, so I had to go out and purchase some, so I did what he was supposed to have done.
