The job went off very smoothly. They were very good about informing us of any outtages and working around our schedule. We expected the network to run better and with less issue, but what we didn't expect was the level of workmanship and neatness. They cleaned up and organized all existing wires (even wires that were next to what they were working on.) Several data lines that were not in use (from our old terminal system) were removed and discarded, making the office as a whole much neater and more professional. They had asked before the estimate if the server would be arriving fully loaded and ready with the software installed, we were told by our vendor that it would be. Unfortunately it arrived without software, and not fully assembled. 0-Day didn't complain at all and simply finished the server quickly without missing a step. All in all even with the server surprise they still finished the work ahead of schedule (only charged us for the hours worked) and even helped us communicate with our medical software vendor at no additional cost when some issues came up. The network has been running for several weeks now without flaw. The place looks better and the new computers and server are humming right along. We are very happy with the work performed and will use 0-Day if we have any future computer needs.
Description of Work: Our medical office recently purchased a new system for medical billing and support. We decided it was time to consolidate our nightmare of a network and get things "cleaned up" and running smoothly. We put an ad in craigslist looking for a company to come out and setup the new server and computers while making sure the rest of the network was running as well as it could. We had several contractors respond to the ad, two of whom submitted 3000+ dollar bids just to hook up the new equipment. 0-Day did a free walkthru and surveyed our existing network as well as the new equipment. They returned the next day with a diagram of the network as it currently existed along with a future diagram after the new computers were installed. It made it easy to see where there were bottle necks and areas of possible upgrade. They indicated an estimated number of hours to complete the work at a flat rate of $75 an hour.
