Update - In regards to Ben's typical comments, I stand by my statement that these guys did not perform the last service. I had even sent a picture to Ben during our last email conversation showing condition of the lawn in the backyard. The comments that I'm blowing up social media over $30 should show everyone who looks at this review that this guy is a real piece of work... I'm not blowing anything up over social media. I'm providing my experience on a site that is viewed as a reputable tool to make conscious decisions when hiring companies for various service. The sad part in all this is that we have a much larger property we're about to move into requiring more landscaping. And instead of working with me, Ben chose to go a different route and deny everything. 

Unreliable. When they showed up they were here no more than 10 minutes. They never trimmed anything unless I asked them to. They broke countless sprinkler heads in the backyard using a weed whacker to trim the grass instead of a lawn mower. Finally after getting fed up I emailed Ben Johnson (btw the company name changed without notice to Beautify). The email indicated to cease service at the end of July and I would ensure the account was paid in full for the remaining service that was due on 7/23/15. A check was mailed to pay for service along with a written note to cancel service at the end of the month. The check was cashed within 2 days of mailing. I emailed Ben again asking to confirm service would be cancelled at the end of the month and that I was still due one final service which I thought was to be on 7/30/15 because there was nobody here on 7/23. I received a single word response "confirmed". Once the 30th came and passed I emailed again inquiring where these guys were because they didn't show and my backyard looked horrible. Ben responded and said the guys were there on 7/23. Thus began a back and forth exchange as my wife and I were here all day on 7/23 and the guys never showed. Eventually I received an abnoxious response indicating that the guys were there on 7/23 and it's customers like me who he got tired of accusing him that his guys never showed so he put gps in his vehicles. He said the guys were there for 10 minutes. These guys may have been parked outside but the property clearly shows that it has not been serviced in weeks. I asked for a partial refund and was denied. When I advised I would contact the BBB about this I received a response that said the BBB has no teeth and he didn't care. This guy is a shady, poor businessman. I never knew who he was until his email address started showing up on invoices. He never introduced himself to his own customers and I only interacted with his crew. Long story short, this is Las Vegas and there's a thousand landscapers to choose from. Ben Johnson is a swindler and a horrible businessman and I'd recommend seeking service elsewhere.

We recently moved into a new home and had to landscape the entire backyard (1/2 acre). We went with another company originally. It took them nearly two weeks to put in our rocks, grass, sprinklers, drip system and 9 trees. One of the trees broke in half during the windstorm due to a poor staking/tying down job. The rocks they put in (20 tons) only covered about a third of the yard. We went with The Johnson Company to put in the remainder of the rocks, take out the broken tree, replace the broken tree with a bush, and put in a new fruit tree. They added another 50 tons of rock plus adding the tree/bush all in a single day and it was done very professionally (and for a lot less money than the other company charged us for rocks). We are happy with The Johnson Company and have started using them for our weekly yard maintenance as well.

They were unreliable. They never phoned back on questions I had. I never got the information correct as far as what I thought they said versus what they actually did.

They are fabulous. They keep my yard looking like Disneyland. They are very creative and really take care of my lawn.
