Nevada Coin and Jewelry

Let me start by saying I have never wrote a review about anything but I'm so DISAPPOINTED with my experience I have to leave a review. So with that said yesterday I took my costume jewelry into them bc on the video I saw the Neil guy claims to go thru your stuff piece by piece infront of you and test your items well that is a BOLD-FACED LIE!! Let me tell you first of all from what I could see there where at least 4 guys behind the counter and including myself 3 customers in the store. So when I give the guy the jumble of costume jewelry I have he tells me that he only pays $2 a pound for this kind of stuff and I said ok but still expecting the man to still look thru it all like they claim too do he didn't he actually rushed me thru the other things I had w me I didn't even get to show him all I had he just said $9 and if I didn't absolutely need money I wouldn't have sold them anything he was in such a hurry to move on that he couldn't be bothered to finish our transaction himself he told some other guy to give me $9 and that was it no thank you or have a great day. Honestly they are false advertising bc they didn't do anything they claimed too in the end of it I got screwed over big time I wish I could do more than just leave a review I wish I could take some sort of legal action or get the right kind of service or even my stuff back I feel like they got me

the coin appraiser is a crook and a liar.  he lied about ebay prices for my coins and quoted far below going prices on ebay.  he got p***** off that I tore his tape off the adding machine to see how much he was shafting me.  I was dealing in coins when he was in diapers.  after all I have a right to see what he priced each coin out. i was out of there when he low balled me anyways.  if you are desperate for money he is the guy to see.

I called in advance to see if they'd be interested in what I had for sale, and was told "yes, bring it over."  I really was NOT impressed with how I was treated on the phone . . . It was a bit too businesslike and, frankly, a little "short."  I gathered my things and went anyway.  I was greeted immediately.  I showed the man I spoke with on the phone what I had, and he told me I needed to speak with Neil (the owner).  Neil is a SUPER nice guy.  He took his time with me, went through everything, and was even nice enough to chit chat with me.  What he gave me for what I took was fair (thus the "fair" rating above - fair being defined as REASONABLE). 
I think we ALL go into places like these thinking we have more than we do.  Neil was very kind and gentle with me about these things.  Of COURSE I didn't get what I thought it was worth . . . I got a VERY fair price for what he bought from me based on what HE showed me it was worth.  It's pretty hard to argue with TRUTH and FACTS.  I knew going in that 'SENTIMENTAL" has NO value to someone else.
I believe Neil is FAIR and HONEST, and would recommend this place if you have what he buys for sale.  He WILL give you a reasonable and FAIR price for what you have.  He's VERY sharp and has probably forgotten more than a LOT of us know about these things, but he's really NICE about it and NEVER talks  "down" to you.  GOOD guy.
