A very polite young man arrived on time and ready to go. He reviewed contract issues and then commenced to spray areas inside the house culminating with thoroughly covering the house perimeter outside with a bigger application process. Only two little ants were still around the next day and none since. Hurray! The company made phone contact the day after service was provided to check on my satisfaction.....class act. I have recommended them to my neighbors who, as it turns out, are also having the ant problems this year which came as no big surprise. I was pleased that their products did not carry a heavy disagreeable odor and I was assured they would not be harmful to my new puppy or mother who is on oxygen 24/7. Overall, at this point, I am completely satisfied.

When I made the appointment I explained that I had recently moved into the house and had a lot of bugs inside and out. The man I spoke with said that was exactly what the service was for and that they could take care of the problem. The young man who showed up had a spray can instead of a big sprayer, I asked him about it and he said the spray can could do the same job. Then I had to remind him to spray inside the walls which entailed taking off outlet covers. I only saw him take two off and when he went outside to sweep the webs he didn't just run the brush along the whole house, he stood there and tried to see the webs and then just swiped at them. So, of course, he missed a lot of the spider webs and within a couple of days I started seeing bugs in the house and spiders in the eaves. They came back out for a follow up two weeks later and resprayed everything with the real sprayer and re-swept the webs but I continued to have a bugs in and around the house, though in lesser numbers. I cancelled the service as I did not feel it was worth it. It was a special for half price and I paid $68, I would have been furious if I had paid them $150 as I did not get the results they promised.

Alex, the technician was courteous and professional from the time I met him at the door. He asked if I was a first-time customer and if I had completed any contract paperwork. He provided this to me, explained what he would be doing, and got to work. The annual contract cost is the same as the original Angie's List offier, which is very reasonable. The company will come every two months to spray the outside perimiter of the home. I was very satisfied as this is something I do not have time to take care of myself. I was given an option to select the type of product used in my home. And I was assured that Bulwark would come to my home, at not cost to me, to take care of pest problems that might occur prior to the next visit. I would highly recommend Bulwark Exterminating to other homeowners.

The coupon that I purchased is all smoke and mirrors. When technician arrived at our home, he said we must sign up for a one year contract in order to use that coupon. No where on the coupon is this advised. I also would not want to sign up for a year when I do not know if there service will be effective or not. So we told technician we would not want to go through with there services. An hour later, a gentlemen calls us to say technician made a mistake and that a scheduler would call us. It just seems so unorganized over there, especially with scheduling, that I will not be using there services and just cancelled any future appointments. It shouldn't be this hard to get pest control service for your home. I will be contacting Angie's List to recieve our $69 back. My experience was nothing but a complete migraine.

Overall, I was completely impressed with the service and quality of work performed by Bulwark Exterminating. The day that I was scheduled, the technician Alex showed up 15 minutes early. He explained what he was spraying and what it does. He was quick and thourough while spraying and even making small talk. When he was finished, he explained the care after spraying. Alex was in and out in 20 minutes. The next day I went out to check the exterior and sure enough, the spray has done its job. I highly recommend this company for your extermination needs.

, including if asked nicely Initially, we had an issue at our first residence with scorpions, look through some online reviews and found these guys; they're great. They were extremely thorough and quite meticulous, hitting every nook and cranny. Since our first use we set up an automatic visit for every 2 months and they haven't missed a beat. Oh, and we have a cat and there has been no issue there.

I like them. They are efficient. They are courtesy.

From the beginning. the technicians were always thorough and knowledgeable. However, the office staff is completely useless. For the 6 visits during the first year, only one was properly scheduled and performed. I repeatedly asked them to set appointment times so I could unlock my back yard and be available to let them treat inside the house. On five of those 6 occasions, the office forget to instruct the tech to come between certain hours (like after 5pm). I was double charged on my Amex on two instances and on the 7th visit, they no-showed completely (after calling me to schedule the appointment). I called to complain and they also no-showed on the the make-up visit. I spoke repeatedly to Cameron (manager) and he promised improvements, made appointments directly, which they screwed up, and did not honor the reduced rate $54 they negotiated for the 2nd year. I'm done with these people.

They have been very accommodating. They will call me ahead of time to see if I need anything extra.
