Bulwark's tech, Chandler Palmer, was here today, and he did an awesome job! My grown son didn't understand some of the issues and I was not home when he came, so I asked them to come back! Chandler was back in 30 minutes to address my issues. That must be why I have used them everywhere I go, and recommend them to others.........

They were wonderful! Strove to meet my needs at every turn and work within my work hours. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Eric Burch is always very professional and friendly. He always comes on time and will ask if I have seen any pests inside my house. He usually just sprays outside. If I do need spraying on the inside, he always wants to know where to spray to get to the problem area. He is very knowledgable about pest control.

To start I will say that I did a monthly plan with them/automatic payments which went really well this review has more to do with the fact that there were problems when I was initially quoted the price they had given me military discount I was never told that would be changed! without notice they changed the price to 10 dollars more and took away the military discount! I moved at the end of the year and months later I told them to cancel the account and they did not! they came to that old address and sprayed without calling or any notice! and they charged me for it! even though I no longer live there! do yourself a favor don't use these guys! there very shady.

It appears that this was a busy time of the year for these types of insects because it is a reoccurring problem and I can’t blame them for that. I am not sure if the treatment is 100% or 80% or 90% effective.

On time, did a good job, what more do you need. Plus a nice young man!

Within 30 minutes of purchasing via Angie's list I was contacted to setup an appointment. I was able to get an appointment within 48 hours. The service technician, Drake Stevenson, showed up exactly on time. He introduced himself, went over the purchased services, the required disclaimers, and then we discussed my particular problem and how he would address it. Everything went great and depending on the effectiveness of the treatment (to be determined over time) I will definitely use Bulwark Exterminating if I have future pest extermination needs and would recommend them to anyone who thinks they need an exterminator.

I have used Bulwark for over 8 years now, I insist on a regular guy rather than a different person each time. The person I have now, his name is MAX. Max has been our regular guy for years now. Max is outstanding in every way. He is always on time, always has a smile when you answer the door. He is so careful going around my yard when he sprays. We have NEVER had a plant or flowers damaged, nor any of the landscaping lighting disturbed. He sprays carefully and thoroughly, taking his time while doing so. He has learned where my food bearing plants are, and avoids them without being instructed to do so. Friendly conversation is also included in the visit. Max is a genuine great guy, and an exceptional employee of Bulwark. We are lucky to have him.

This was a $79 big deal purchase that I used. I was not too happy with it. They did the work about two weeks after I bought the deal. The price was okay. Their punctuality was okay. to get an A grade from me they could have used a better product. The problem is if they are not using the correct product the bugs come back.

it took a while for my tenant to get the appointment locked down but after that all was good. I will use them again in the future with no hesitation.

The service was great and it worked well. The only thing I didn't like was that they automatically signed me up for a contract with them to be serviced every two months. I wanted the contract, but I didn't actually order it so I thought that was a little bit sneaky.. After he saw my note, the manager called to explain that this was a mistake and not how they do business. I am happy with their service.

Overall the service was good due to the fact that the worker that showed up was excellent. However, due to the phone service and normal pricing I chose another company for the regular service.

We had a little back and forth getting this scheduled, but the tech they sent was an A+. This guy was an engineering student named Joe, and he is a scorpion geek. He explained everything about where they live and how to get rid of them. Really smart guy, professional, spent time explaining everything. Couldn't ask for more. I'll use these guys to do my scorpion treatments from here on in.

They were okay. They need to be prompted a lot and depending upon with whom you speak, they may be responsive or they may not be responsive. They are probably acceptable but unexceptional. They are also expensive. They need to improve upon customer responsiveness and internal communication.

It went okay until they decided to up the rates big time. They come every month. I started up paying $35 a month and it went up to $38.50. It took up to $40-something a month. We've been with them for several years. I'm not at home sometimes when they come. A lot of other companies are a lot less.

I called them to see if they would go out and do my daughter's house and they gave me a quote of $150. I was like, no thank you. Then I went on Angie's List and looked and I am like, they are on here for whatever it was, $85. So I buy, then somebody calls my mum who set up the appointment because it is our rental property, someone calls my mum and I don't know the name because I was going to type in then I forgot all of the information, he was like telling my mum, well if it is roaches and this and this, it is going to be this much. My mum is like, this is not going to work. I am like, no, so I pulled the coupon up and it said all that was included. That was the bad part. The service and guy that came out and did it was great but to try to upsell it before you even get to the house that kind of bothered me. It was a couple of days after I bought it so it wasn't bad. They came out and everything went well. It kind of gave me a bad taste in my mouth and I've used them for 11 years. They came out pretty quickly after. The guy was great and he didn't try to upsell. It went as it was.

They are fantastic. Eric who works for Bulwark is our guy. He is fantastic. He’s been doing our house for years now. We absolutely love him. We trust him. We hope we can keep him forever. We’ve been away for the past month. We had just gotten back four days ago. They haven’t been here for a month so we’re expecting a call soon but I would call them if I saw a bug. He comes immediately. We haven’t seen any bugs. I guess maybe it’s not really getting cooler but the seasons are changing. I am expecting a call from them soon. He comes once a month but if I see a bug like two weeks after he’s been here, he comes right out and no problem.

Max was great! Punctual, friendly and thorough, he started the job by asking about problems or answering any questions I had at the outset. He was very nice and payed respect by using shoe covers before entering. I look forward to having him protect my home knowing that I can always count on him being a call away.

Initially had issues with their re-spray service. However, the company went above and beyond to make things right. I appreciate their efforts. And, as a result of their service, I am seeing less scorpions.

The first time Bulwark came, the technician arrived on time and explained the process. A week later we were still finding scorpions in the yard (using my trusty blacklight), so I called for a respray. The technician did NOT show up and there was no phone call. After contacting the office, it turned out that the technician arrived before we were home and left with no note. That was a wasted afternoon for me. I called again to reschedule and the technician arrived on time. Two weeks later we are still finding scorpions in the yard and we have also found both dead (in the sticky traps) and live scorpions in the garage. I'm not all that impressed with the treatment and I'm glad I didn't get talked into a contract (Prior to the first technician arriving, I received a phone call explaining the process and indicating that we would be on a 1-year contract. The first technician didn't bring a contract and didn't try to sell one. I did receive a phone call after the second technician saying that my monthly service would be there on a specific date. I informed the caller that I was NOT on a contract. Eventually it was worked out.) The treatment has decreased the number of ants, cockroaches, etc. that we are finding - which is what the scorpions eat. Maybe as their food source disappears, the scorpions will disappear too. Update: 3 weeks after the first spray I called again for a respray. Technician arrived on time, but was rude and condescending. He did spray the yard and garage, but left without comment. I realize the poison takes time to work, but with my blacklight I found 6 scorpions in the yard tonight. (Shouldn't they be dead by now from the first and second spray job?) I was able to kill 4 of them with my handy rock and wooden skewer. Update 2: After posting my review on Angie's List, I was contacted by Bulwark. To their credit, they were concerned that I was disappointed in their service and wanted to rectify the situation. I was offered another respray (#3). In the process I was also offered a night time scorpion eradication (technician comes out with a blacklight). I was told that this is normally a $35 uncharge. My understanding was that he was offering this to me free. I was told to expect a call from the scheduler. So the scheduler calls and offers to do the night time eradication. His first opening was at 4:00 the next day. I suggested that a night time eradication should be done at night... when it is dark. He hesitates and then tells me he will call me back. So, he calls back with a 8:00-10:00 window. Perfect. The technician comes, on time. He offers to spray the yard, which I take him up on. After he does that he seems to be ready to leave. I ask about the night time eradication. He quickly sweeps the yard and says he doesn't see any. The icing on the cake of the whole situation... I received a bill in the mail for $35 for the night time eradication (which I thought I was getting free as the result of poor performance). I'm going to lower my rating on price now that I'm out another $35 and I still have scorpions in the yard (I rarely go out at night without seeing or killing at least one scorpion). Save your money on this one. Spray your yard on a regular basis to keep the bugs away (which serve as scorpion food). Hire an exterminator to do it - or buy a gallon spray jug at Home Depot or Lowes and spray yourself (just as effective and much less money). Just my opinion.

I found out from the tech that the little bugs inside were german cockroaches, very prolific. The spraying went quickly, they have a 60 day warranty & told me to call them if the come back. Sure enough they were seen again after a couple of weeks,I called & they got out to the house, the same tech, & sprayed again as their warranty stipulated. If we see them again we will call again. They are hard to get rid of I guess.

Conner came out on time and did a fantastic job. He explained the process, explained the chemicals and was very thorough and knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a more professional service all around.
