A & P Painting & Roofing

Peter and his crew were very friendly, professional and detail oriented. We needed the exterior of our house to be painted and the job was done in 2 days if you count the power washing of the home prior to the house being painted. Peter the owner came out and did the estimate. Our house was painted about a week or so after we agreed to his terms. There were no misunderstandings or hassle, the crew that Peter said would come out came to our home and painted our house just as he said. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Peter and his company. We highly recommend them if you need your home painted!

I had 4 estimates for my roof damage from a storm. Peter came out to give me an estimate and I interviewed him. He was upfront with all that need to be done and let me know how the work would be done. I was so happy with his interview and estimate that I decide to ask about his painting estimate. He was honest and fair. He and his crew showed up on time and did a great job. The painting also went smoothly. He informed me on all of the steps and the time he would start and finish. He let me know what paint he was using and even made an extra stop at the house to make sure I was comfortable on how to choose my colors. His painting crew did a great job and cleaned up beautifully. Both crews did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the results. They were prompt and finished on time and cleaned up. I highly recommend A & P for roofing and painting. Thank you to Peter and all of his crew members.

Their service was perfect! I called the company, the owner came here after 2 days and inspected the roof then gave me the price and also the inspection is for free. They were very nice and everything is wonderful.

Did a great job repairing my roof after some wind damage to the shingled section around my H-VAC. Also performed some basic maintenance on the tiled portion, and still came in cheaper than the insurance companies estimate for simply repairing the wind damage.

It was awesome. Have never had a more satisfactory experience with any contractor. They were neat, friendly, through and fast. Peter Reid, the owner, was friendly and knowledgeable. It is obvious he cares about his company and its reputation. His crew came on time and did the job exactly as I had requested and as he promised they would. I have no doubt that had there been any problem or issue Peter would have resolved it to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this company.

They did not even return my message to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

Everything went perfectly. Peter was wonderful to work with and a man of his word. Hard to find these days.

Peter contacted me right away and we set up a time for him to come and inspect my roof. He arrived right on time. My son was home, but I wasn’t able to be there so Peter took photos of all the repairs needed and sent them to me along with explainations of the work needed. I called him as soon as I was able to and he explained In further detail and we agreed upon a price. He and his Forman come over on Saturday to inspect the roof again and make sure everyone was on the same page about the repairs and to talk to me in person. They completed the work today, Monday. The workers were right on time and got right to work. Peter called me when the work was finished and then came back later so he could show me pictures of the finished work and other things they had found. He also gave me some tips on roof maintenance. Peter was pleasant, considerate and kept me informed every step of the way. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Very quick to respond with estimate and painting was done within a week. Very professional, reasonable price and happy with the results.

Peter came out to view the job I had used him before. Said he needed to talk it over with GM never heard from him again As a return customer I was very disappointed.

My experience with Peter was enjoyable and seamless from our first meeting. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. His company team, led by Hector, an experienced and engaging team manager, performed excellent work; spray-washing and prepping the stucco with attention to detail and ensuring that all outside furniture was situated where it would not be impacted. My job took 2 days to paint my house and trim, along with painting the wrought-iron fencing. I highly recommend A&P Painting, you won't be disappointed!

Peter was a pleasure to deal with. The whole job from masking to completion took 5 hours! Hector, the foreman, was gracious and polite. Peter and his son were both on site to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. No payment required until job complete. I recommend A&P without reservation!

Could not have been a better experience. Pete and his crew were wonderful to work with. Prompt and did a great job.

Perfect. Right on time, always let you know what is going on and what will be done the next day. Peter was by daily checking the work his men did and did not hurry to get in his truck and go. The roof is finished (on time) and he is coming as soon as my out of town and country relatives leave to do inside repairs from leaking roof water damage. I highly recommend him. Peter is not pushy either, shows you the damage and tells what needs to be done and leaves it up to you. After I hired him I found out my lovely next door neighbors knew him for 20 + years and after talking to my neighbors I knew for sure I hired the right man to do the job. You won't be sorry if you hire him.

The company has not responded to my call

Peter came out to give me a bid and was there when he said he would be. Because I had other matters that needed to be addressed before the roof was repaired, I contacted him and let him know I would call him when those were done. When I contacted him, he scheduled a date to come out with his foreman to review the work and get a signed contract. His employees showed up on time and completed the work as scheduled which in this case was one day. Peter was easy to deal with, honest about the repair work needed as opposed to two of the bids that said the entire roof needed to be replaced and, of course, we couldn't use the existing tiles, I would have to buy all news ones. Peter, as well as several others, described where the work needed to be done, informed me the remainder of the roof was fine and he would repair any tiles that were broken. He didn't over sell or under sell me. Some of the others were just very odd characters and I wouldn't have felt comfortable doing business with them whereas, Peter is just a nice guy. He's clear, concise and in my estimation has integrity.

I can't say enough good things about this company, they have this down to a science! I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!!

Very prompt and friendly, no payment until we were happy

We were taking bids to get our house painted and had estimates from 3 other companies. These guys were very straight on their pricing and didn't try to up-sell us on anything. They came out one day, gave us an estimate and the very next morning they arrived at around 8:00AM with a crew of around 6 or 7 guys and were DONE with paint and cleanup by about 1:00. They even helped us move our plants and furniture back onto on the patio. They worked like magic and did an A+++ job. I highly recommend them to anyone needing to get their house painted.

Stopped by same day as initial call. Showed up on time, cleaned up and went over and above what was required. So far so good.
