The owner, Peter, was great. He was responsive and hands-on. Provided an estimate on-the-spot. I wanted the same color and he was able to make a perfect match. Crew was professional , considerate and efficient. Power washed one day and came back the following to paint. Covered everything (light fixture, doors, windows) with plastic. Repairs and painting were completed in one day. At the end of the job they cleaned everything up only leaving behind a beautiful paint job.

Peter Reid the owner, arrived to give me a quote. Very easy to talk with, even tho my house was over due for TLC. He reassured me it was very doable. Small crew power washed and stucco repaired on Friday. The rest of the crew showed up early on Saturday and painted on Saturday. My two story house was completed in two days. These guys went above and and beyond, I'm blessed. Everyone was professional, respectful, and friendly. Yes I highly recommend Peter Reid A&P PAINTING AND ROOFING.

From the very first call Peter was very professional. He committed to call me back because he was on a job and he called me back promptly as he promised. When they came for the estimate he was prompt and personable. He determined the cause of the leak on the patio and determined the materials necessary to make the repairs. Since he was going to need to paint around the newly replaced fascia on the patio Peter pointed out to me how the fascia around the entire house was in need of painting. He was obviously very right about the need for painting and offered a very fair price to paint the entire house while he was painting the patio. When the crew came out to do the repairs they were prompt and professional. They did an outstanding job and the patio is like new again. The painter who painted the fascia on the exterior of the house put on one primer coat and recognized there was still bleed through so he used a second coat of primer. Thereafter he put on two coats of paint all the way around the house. It looked very nice and very professional. I'm sure it will last for a long while. There was a hole in her bathroom drywall and three patches that needed to be made after security bars we're installed for my disabled husband. The results of the repairs and touch up painting are outstanding. He perfectly matched texture and since we had the original paint when the house was painted 3 years ago there is no sign that repairs have been made on our drywall and numerous locations throughout our house. After the job was finished I found a few paint splatters on the concrete driveway and walkway and when I called Peter he personally came and got on his hands and knees and scrubbed up all the paint. A lot of the paint was pre-existing but he cleared all the spots that I was concerned about including the pre-existing spots from a previous painting by another contractor. I highly respect Peter with the quality of work he provided, with the outstanding service, and all communication from the first call to his final visit. I could not be more satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism and I received from Peter and his son Peter.

I was extremely pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of the paint crew. Peter Reid, the owner, showed up for every appointment on time and with a call-ahead to let me know he was coming. We actually accelerated the job due to rain being forecast for the weekend. The paint crew, headed up by Hector, arrived on time the first day and pressure washed the exterior. They were here early the second day and accomplished the stucco and woodwork repairs/caulking and taped all the windows and doors. They then painted the exterior. I was very impressed with their attention to detail. They recommended we paint my wrought iron gates (four separate gates) to match the trim color and it turned out great. They painted a misting system on the patio and taped all the individual misting heads to make sure they were not clogged. They also painted all the outdoor lights in a metallic color that made them look brand new. Once the job was done, Hector inspected the paint job and had his crew redoing areas that didn't meet his standard. Peter showed up later and also inspected the job, finding even more spots that didn't meet his standards. I was walking with him and was surprised at what he had them touch up as I really would have not seen anything wrong. I do not hesitate in recommending A&P Painting and Roofing for your painting needs. If the need arises, I will use them again.

He was fantastic! So nice, helpful and professional! He placed the patch on our hole no charge and advised me to call him back if that did not take care of our leak. We will be calling h back for any roofing or painting we have!!!!!!

Peter removed roof tiles over problem area. He cleaned out area and sealed a small spot. I asked him how much I owed him and he said that I owed him nothing. Besides the great price, Peter was very friendly and a gentleman. So of course I would recommend him.

We set an appointment to meet at my house. He was punctual, patient, helpful, personable and professional as he helped me choose my colors. He took care of the HOA paperwork for me, and he sent his crew out within days of my first contact with A & P. Hector & crew – in a word – terrific! They repaired cracks, did stucco patches, and painted my home in such a professional manner that I felt as though they were taking as much care with my home as they would with their own. This is the best experience I've ever had with any tradesman. Peter and his staff were the consummate professionals. His recommendations were spot on. His price was very competitive. His crew was on time to the minute for the wash one day and paint the next day. I give A & P Painting & Roofing my highest recommendation.

Owner and workers were punctual and thoroughly professional in providing bid and service. All were very focused on providing high-quality work. The owner was very concerned that all aspects of the job were well done and had crew on hand for necessary touch-ups before collecting payment. He noticed and corrected a few spots I would have overlooked. Work was fairly priced,. as best I could tell. I would not hesitate to hire A & P again or to recommend them highly.

Peter (the owner) showed up on time for the quote. He was clean, friendly, and professional. He explained the entire process from start to finish and provided me with a very thorough quote. The foreman (Hector) showed up on Thursday with 3 helpers and they washed the house down. Peter also stopped by to ensure the process was completed correctly and to re-verify the paint/process that was to be done. Friday, Hector and his crew arrived promptly at 7am and began work taping/covering all the windows/doors...etc. Painting followed shortly after. Peter arrived at the end of the day and walked around the house with me to check everything. We found a few very minor things and they were immediately corrected (pieces of leftover tape, touch-ups). The entire 3400 SQ FT house was painted in 2 days, one day to wash the house down, and one day to repair/paint. The workers were polite and professional. The crew cleaned up after themselves. Peter and Hector ensured that nothing was overlooked. Simply outstanding.

The communication was great, they were very punctual, and the work was completed at that time and at no charge. I will definitely use again and refer to friends and neighbors.

Peter Reid and his crew Hector and others did an excellent job! I first contacted Peter back in August 2015 to come give me a bid on just painting the trim and possibly the whole exterior of the home. Peter came out right away the day I called him to give me a bid. He even rearranged his schedule to accommodate a bid which I believe originally was even on a Saturday. After I received several bids I decided to go with A&P painting because they were the least expensive and were the most honest quote I received. One of the big reasons is Peter even came back and tried to help me pick out the colors for our home. After we finally decided on a color I had to get HOA approval. Peter also called me every couple of weeks to stay in touch and follow up to see if the HOA had approved my submission. Peter was truly the only one that ever did follow up with me via phone, some did via e-mail or chat online with Angie's list but I appreciate the personal touch Peter provided. I submitted the HOA approval back on 09-05-2015 and after some back and forth with my Arc committee was finally given the go ahead to repaint my home at 6pm Friday night October 30, 2015 within one of their 10 specific schemes. On Monday November 2, 2015 I called Peter up and let him know my HOA finally approved everything. He asked when I wanted to get started and I said as soon as possible. Peter said he would have his foreman Hector come out by 11 am to power wash and he Peter would be there shortly after to sign the contract and get things started. Both Hector and Peter arrived on time as they stated and Hector got to work right away. Peter arrived and we signed the contract and Peter told him which colors we wanted and where. Peter said Hector will be back in the morning to begin painting. Hector and his crew arrived on time at 7:00am with about 4 others and began taping and prepping to paint. Hector and his crew completed the job by 2:00pm painting the entire home and it looks amazing. They did an amazing job and no spills or any problems that I have encountered so far. Peter came by several times throughout the day to make sure everything was on track. Around 2pm he came by and told me they were finished and we did a walk through. Everything looked excellent so I then paid him the money no changes or extra price increases either. I love it when someone quotes me a price and does what they say they are going to do. Peter does not ask for any money up front only when the job is completed. Seeing how quick and professional the entire process was and the team I would not hesitate to use them again. Several of my neighbors may use them also and Peter gave them bids too!

I called the provider regarding an estimate and was told they don't do repairs for damage caused by solar installation. If this is the provider's policy, then they should state it up front right in their listing instead of people wasting their time contacting them and waiting for a return call.

Peter called me the same day of my inquiry. He came out to give me an estimate within two days. The following week his crew arrived on time the first day and power washed my house. On day two, they taped off the house (even the neighbors house) and painted the house, trim, pop outs, shutters, garage, front door, and gates. Three different colors were used. They were matched perfectly to the original colors of the house. Everyone was friendly and professional. After the job was complete they cleaned up very nicely.

He repaired and replaced the tile and said no charge. We will definitely call him with any further repair in the future..That kind of service just doesn't happen in Vegas..

Called Peter with A & P Painting and Roofing for an estimate. He responded same day. The next day he set up a time with me for an estimate. The estimate was the lowest of the three I got so I went with his company. Hector, his foreman arrived a few days later to do a power wash. Two days later his crew arrived as scheduled. They started work about 6:30 AM and were finished about 1:45 PM. The most difficult part was doing the deteriorated fascia on the west side of the house. There were a few drips and spatters here and there, but that is to be expected with an exterior paint job. All in all, this was a good experience. I hope the paint lasts at least 2 to 3 years without serious cracking or peeling.

Well it begins like this my house is 15 years old and it's looks great or at least I thought so until the women next door had her house painted and then realized how faded and old looking my house had become over the past 15 years. So I go to Angies list looking for a painter and take a few estimates and one was from A&P Painting.. His pricing was very fair and Peter Reid who is A&P Painting answered every question I had and explained in detail what was to be done. I told him I would get back to him and he said call anytime. Well two days later I decided that A&P Painting was the man for the job. So I called back and asked him if he could stop by again and discuss and possibly sign an agreement to paint my house. He gave me a time and was there on time as he was the previous time we met. We went over everything again and I told him that the price was fair and acceptable. We met at 2pm on Thursday and by 3pm I signed and he told me that he may have his crew over in an hour to pressure wash the house but the painting won't begin till Monday. If he couldn't get his crew there Thursday, Friday afternoon they would be there for sure. After signing he said you pay me nothing until the work is completed and your satisfied. Well 10 minutes later I get a call telling me that the crew to pressure wash the house is on there way back to start. Within minutes a truck pulls up and guys start popping out one by one and with Peter taking the foreman around explaining what's needed and the others setting up and before you know it they're leaving and the house is so clean. Well Monday they're suppose to be there by 7am and show up 6:45am and start the job and before you know it Peter is ringing my bell telling me the job is complete. Reid's company A&P Painting is a truly professional Painting company that gets the job done and it looks great. I highly recommend A&P Painting. I've spoken to three friends already two that need an outside paint job and one that needs an inside paint job and they were impressed by the story as you should be to. Within hours of the initial phone contact, they had already driven by my house, looked at the work that needed to be done and gave me ideas of what should be done and a complete estimate. He worked around my schedule to find times that we could meet to go over the colors and sign the contract, as well as complete the work. He was generally there waiting for me before I even got home from work. The colors were matched to the current colors to my house and everything was done very well. He fixed all the cracks and you cannot tell where everything was. He pained the front and back doors. Was very pleased with the work that was completed.

I had both my house and my mothers house exteriors painted. I was given an estimate by the owner Peter who took his time explaining work to be done, how long it would take etc. The crew did a fantastic job, both houses look great and were careful not to leave any trash behind. Peter did not accept a deposit and did not ask for payment until after he knew I was happy with the job done. I would have no problem recommending them for any paint work you may need

Reasonable estimate for size of home, completed all work in less than a week, professional crew, excellent job. I received several estimates similar in price range from good companies, but all wanted 10 to 25 % up front. With A&P you pay nothing until job is finished and you are satisfied. That makes all the difference.

After observing other companies in our neighborhood, I can say that the A&P difference is in their execution. From sales and estimates, prep and painting, cleanup and closeout, the whole project is well executed. It's a well-oiled machine that features the best in customer service and project delivery. In several areas, A&P went out of their way to pick up the small details that took multiple challenging items off our self-performance to-do list. In our case, we were power-washed on a Saturday, and the whole remainder of the job was completed between 7 am and 3 pm on a Monday. And the results are excellent! One of the best contractors that we have used in Las Vegas.

The owner, Peter, came over on Monday 3/27 and gave me an estimate. I was planning to do the work in a few days following, before some artificial was being installed the week of 4/6. However, that same day the artificial turf company told me they were ready to come on Thursday, 4/2. I called Peter and asked if he could do the work right away, in the next day or so. He was very cooperative and said he'd get it done. He and his son (?) showed up on Tuesday around 11am and got right to work. They primed the recently stucco'd walls, and applied two coats of paint. They got the work done in about 4 hours. The job looked great and they left the job in a clean condition. I would use them again and can recommend them.

Peter came out and gave an estimate and made some suggestions that would save money. He was informative and helpful. Our color was no longer on file for HOA. work was delayed waiting for approval from HOA. Once approved the job went quickly and smoothly. They arrived on time and went about their work quietly and efficiently. The crew was always busy working. Two story 1800 + square foot home two story with all kinds of bushes and trees in the way was painted in about 38 man hours. A crew of 4-5 completed our house in about 1 1/2 days including washing, priming, scraping, taping off, painting and cleanup. The house looks great.

Initial point of contact was made through AngiesList Message center and response time was very quick and outside of normal business hours - that was very impressive to me. I had virtually no trouble reaching the company and dealt directly with the owner, Peter, for most of the transaction. He came out and did a free assessment and gave me plenty of honest information. Scheduling got a bit tricky but was very fast once i signed the purchase order. I expected a 1-2 week wait and it was scheduled and completed within 4, but i was asked the day of to schedule the pressure wash with a full paint the next day. At least 1 day in advance would have been preferable, but I'm pretty sure the short notice was due to a cancellation. Overall, the job was done quickly, ahead of schedule, and the painters were very friendly and personable. The onsite manager, Hector, was very pleasant and professional at all times. No surprises at the end, either. I paid exactly what i was quoted and received exactly what was discussed and then some They painted the garage door for me as well, which was not discussed at the estimate time. When asked while the painters were there, i was concerned there would be extra charge for it and to my surprise, there was none. They used the extra paint and still finished before they told me it would be done. My one and ONLY complaint is that the concrete walkway around the home, despite a full plastic cover, somehow managed to get quite a bit of paint splatter on it and there are some paint smears on the thresh hold of the back door. It's not a major spill and time may wear it off. We'll see. If not for this, it would be straight A's across the board.
