Description of Work: The team did a good cleaning job. However, I had to buy a new ceiling fan as in cleaning the blades, a piece was broken inside. In the past on two different occasions, their cleaning of the inside of another ceiling fan's tulip glass enclosures has resulted in bulbs being broken off at the base. I will continue to use this service but will not put the ceiling fans on the list anymore.

Description of Work: The real answer to future use of Mother Earth Maids is "maybe". The Angie's List special deal was a good price -- 9 manhours for $185. They sent a team of three. The house did need a lot of work, so I wasn't all that surprised when they needed more time, at an extra charge of $100. | |While they failed to clean everything thoroughly (the lower drawer on the oven, for example, was untouched), my biggest problem with them was they made no effort to put things back where they were after cleaning. They also threw away some things that obviously should have been kept (or at least I should have been asked). | |I had insisted at least one person who came be fluent in English and the team leader was, which was fortunate because his two companions spoke no English at all. The team leader did respond well to special requests (such as replacing a couple of ceiling lightbulbs). | |Compared to other maid services, they met most of my requirements at a reasonable cost (even without Angie's special pricing). But how difficult is it to put things back where they were -- especially since everyone these days has a camera phone?
