Don Duffel opened East Mountain Auto & RV Repair on April 3, 2010. As the previous owner of MountainView Auto & Diesel, Don felt there was still a need for honest, reliable and friendly auto repair in the East Mountain community. At his previous location, a 98.7% Customer Satisfaction Rating was awarded by AAA AutoClub customers. Upon opening this new facility, he felt it MUST be staffed by individuals of good character, integrity with the understanding that your vehicle needs to be cared for as if it was their own. Due to the complexity of today's vehicles, our technicians receive manufacturer-sponsored training, classes at CNM & also incentives for passing the Automotive Service Excellence, (ASE), testing while on their way to Master Tech status. Our technicians are fully aware that our customers are the reason we are in business.

Couldn't have gone better! My Husband and I are traveling CA to FL. We would still be in NM getting greybhound tickets if this business hadn't lended us a hand. The kindness we witnessed with East Mountain Auto & RV Repair was a old fashion rareity you don't see these days.

I was happy that they were very honest about the condition of the motor and reviewed the options with me I opted not to have any work done to the car but would like to say that the shop owners were very kind and did not charge me It came as a huge relief to me because I had been under quite a bit of financial distress due to family medical emergencies

He's reasonably priced, and if there's something he can't do he will always refer us to great provider. He's personable and cares about his customers. He always gives a fair price and stands by his work. He gives single moms free oil changes, he and his wife are great all around people.

It went very well. Don was available immediately upon our arrival, checked the hood latch, fixed it, oiled it and did not charge me anything. I had never been there before but would certainly go back without hesitation!

Don is always very friendly, informative, honest and helpful. For this visit in particular Don (and I) only thought the car was in need of an oil change but at the last minute the wife also wanted a spin balance and rotation to be done. The shop was quite busy that day but Don kindly sorted everything out in a very timely manner!

The service I needed to have completed was estimated. After I agreed to the service it was completed on the day and time promised. I have confidence in the work that was done on my RV. I appreciated the extra time they spent in answering some of my questions regarding battery maintenance and use of the generator.

Identified the cylinder head as the problem. Flushed the contaminated oil from the system. took time to perform the smaller details that other service providers often miss. Kept me informed of the problems and costs at each stage.

They did everything that I asked them to do and they did it promptly. I would use them again. They were very conscientious. They could not do one repair but they were able to locate someone for me that could. They have gone above and beyond my expectations.

The service was okay but the price was high. We agreed to have the oil change and they did additional work that we did not ask them to do and they did charge for that. I would not recommend them for service.

"We were disappointed to review your comments regarding our service on your RV. We strive to always provide quality workmanship and service for every customer. In regards to your comments, we would like to clarify a couple of issues. Your work order #3753 on 7/12/2012 stated an oil change on a Class A RV was performed for $109.95+Tax and Supplies. Total with Tax came to $122.27. We also performed an 18 Point Inspection which comes FREE with the purchase of the oil change in which we recommended the replacement of the radiator cap because we saw the seals on the cap were cracked. We also added a 1/2 gallon of anti-freeze to the cooling system for FREE because we saw the coolant was low. When reviewing the work order, we did not find any additional work performed other than the approved oil change. There were several recommendations for other work to be performed, however no additional work was charged for on the work order. We are eager to address issues or concerns when they are brought to our attention. East Mountain Auto & RV Repair"

The service has been wonderful. They work very hard to be customer pleasers. The prices do occasionally seem to be high but they do give a follow up visit to check out the work. They are up front with you about the price and the work. This is the only place that I will go to and I do drive 26 miles to get to them. I have been a customer of theirs for about 10 years.

These folks are awesome! They are the ones that offered to install a screen to keep the mice from destroying wires, lines etc in the engine. They are very good at what they do. We take all of our vehicles to them.
