We're writing this review LATE, as work was done Oct 2018 and we have often talked about what a great experience we had with the installation by AKA of 2 indoor ceiling fans, 1 outdoor ceiling fan, chandelier, 4 other ceiling fixtures to upgrade at our fairly new home. These guys work hard and smart. Builder had told us pre-wired for ceiling fans and that was not the case with one heavy fan--took extra time to crawl attic space, took me along to help me find wall control switch at their lunch break. Overall just about the best contractor experience we've had in a long time. Honest, fair in pricing. Good communication skills. Would hire again when we need any electrical installs.

I originally hired AKA to install 2 ceiling fans. When the electrician got to my house, I asked if they could do some additional work with a few lighting fixtures around my house. The work was completed very efficiently and they had no issues with the extra work. Pricing was fair as well. The electrician saved me some money by inspecting my existing electrical boxes where the fans were going and discovering they were already sufficient for supporting the weight of a ceiling fan. Saved me about 40 bucks on fan braces. He could have just told me he needed to replace them and charge me but he didn’t. I will use this company again when I have the need for an electrician.

Very prompt - they come when they are scheduled. During the estimate process the electrician suggested a better means of getting power to a new outlet using existing power sources. His estimate was more reasonable than that provided by another Home Advisor recommended electrician who didn't even bother to look on the roof where the new outlet was being installed. I will call AKA for any future electrical work.

Both gentlemen were polite and knowledgeable. The performed the work (overhead fixture swap) with no issues once started. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was because after I made it a point to let them know the ceiling was high, they did not arrive with a tall ladder. BUT, they got one and the fixed charge remained the same. Will recommend...asked for cards to share.

He was Dope!! Was polite and knowledgeable, and had a fun chat .. highly recommend!!! 10/10
