The owner of this company takes pride in their work. Very friendly, a delight to work with. We leave our mountain home for 4-5 mos. or so throughout the coldest of our winters and must have someone look after our property. This is not a second home for us . . it is a primary home. Summit Home Care makes a weekly tour of the property and house, making sure nothing has gone awry. Any repairs that need to be done would be handled by them. We had no issues at all from Jan. - early May of 2011. Summit requires a simple service contract outlining their fees & duties. This year fees were $50.00 per month (covers 4-5 visits). Very reasonable for a vacation community. We also contracted them to forward our personal mail to various locations that were visiting during the winter. There was no extra charge, but of course we supplied money to Summit for the postage expense, including large envelopes. This was done every other week at their convenience. All work was very satisfactory. Summit's owner is a licensed plumber & a very good all-around handyman. He has a good reputation around town and a solid following of home owners. We plan to continue to use Summit Home Care whenever we go out of town for any length of time at all.
