Lorenzo called me and showed up a tiny bit before the appointment. He was clean cut, friendly, very attentive, and taught me some interesting things on the garage door. The service was excellent, I'd have him back any day.

I'm very happy with the service provided by the technician. There was no charge since it was still under warranty and that it was a mechanical problem. The details are above.

Tech came on time, work was done and explained what was done and how to keep it in good shape. Warranty is good. Haven't needed any follow up.

I called Precision Door to schedule a repair on my broken garage door and they were able to send a tech the very next morning at 8am. Their tech Gary called just before coming over at the appointed time and went right to work. He was very competent and organized and had the door repaired and in fine working order in about an hour. I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone needing a garage door or opener repaired or serviced.

The service was prompt and efficient. Gary came within an hour. He was knowledgeable, offered options and did a great job. Our garage door is working again and it is operating with less noise.

Rudy called to say he was on his way and arrived at the early hour of the two hour service window. He began to diagnose the problems I have had for over 15 years. I have had a few technicians come out and they do a quick fix which lasts until they are at the end of the street. Rudy kept at it until he determined the cause of the problem. I had purchased a $99.00 roller replacement and inspection and the parts required to fix the unit were not included in that purchase which I expected to be the case and was fair. Because I had so much trouble with the existing unit I choose to purchase a new unit which Rudy promptly installed. He was quick, efficient, neat and professional. He took time to explain the unit to me and was very knowledgeable throughout the appointment. Rudy did not pressure me at all to buy a new unit but explained the problem and the options. I also had the rollers installed, as per the original deal. I couldn't be happier as my previous rollers were always horribly loud and now the door works perfectly and is extremely quiet. Well worth it. Highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend Precision, I waited three weeks to write this review - everything continues to work perfectly. On a Saturday afternoon in Santa Fe I was returning home from shopping, pulled in the driveway and hit the remote to my 25 year old garage door, the sound the spring braking I describe as explosive, the door continued on it?s mission to open thus extending the damage to cables. hinges and door panels. I turned to Angie?s List to find a recommended garage repair company, I found Precision in Albuquerque, I was impressed with the number of positive reviews and comments. I called Precision and explained my situation, they offered to come the following day at 8:30 AM, I mentioned that it would be Sunday, they said no problem, no extra charge. Their website provides a photo and brief bio of all their service technicians so when Gary arrived right on time I felt like I knew him. Gary worked on a tablet and in less than an hour he presented me with three options, he explained each one in detail, basic repair everything that was broken, next, repair everything and upgrade some items, finally replace everything with new. Because of the age of the doorI opted to replace everything with new. Three days later two service men arrived at the promised time and in less than three hours removed all the old and installed the new system. The techs took the time to explain the new system in detail including how it should be maintained in the future.

The service was prompt for the appointment, introduce himself. The service provider went directly to work, upon completion of the work. The provider explained the work that was done and recommendations for improvement.

The two Technicians showed up at the time promised, the installation took about four hours. The installation went very well, the Techs were very friendly. They gave us instruction on how everything worked and they cleaned up after them selves. The doors and openers are very high quality, look great and worth the cost. The company did a excellent job beginning to end.

The technician explained each step of the repair, both before and after completion. We were very pleased with the work performed.

The recommended business is 90 miles away and does not service Los Alamos.

I told Precision that we had a loud noise whenever we open or close our garage door. I told them that I just wanted them to do a regular maintenance. He came out and the guy talked my husband into a $500 service and the noise was still there afterwards. I didn't call or complain. I just decided not to use them again. My husband was pleased with the service. I was upset with the up sell. I had said that I want the $139 service. He did a really good job and the day before we were supposed to leave on vacation I went out and the door was completely of it's hinges. It fell off the tracks. It worked smoother but it still made the noise. My husband got it back on the track. We called precision and said that they could have someone here by 9:30 in the morning. They were responsive. They said that if it had anything to do with what the guy did, there wouldn't be a charge. If it didn't have anything to do with what he did, there would be a charge. I thought it was odd. I figured that we would get a maintenance on it and we would be fine. I would say to be careful of the up sell. I wouldn't use them again because of the up sell feature. He was very nice, professional, and showed him exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. It has never come off before. I will just use the company that put the doors in. They fixed one garage door. I thought $500 was high, he was here an hour and a half. If he had done what I had contracted him to do, I would have been happy.

Provider came same day. Service person was a little late but called and gave a heads up. Did work well and cleaned up completely when finished.

There was some difficulty getting the visit scheduled with call backs etc, as well as confusion over the charges, but the company was responsive when called, we were charged correctly and the work they did was good. I would use them again.

The service was fine. They showed up and lubricated the hinges, although, they were not able to stop the squeak of the door. They were pleasant and professional.

The service provided was excellent. Gary, the Precision Garage Door technician, was on time and provided excellent service, which was completed in less than an hour. Gary made his adjustments, lubricated the hinges and provided information on the door itself (it's only a couple years old, which we were unaware of) and on the remaining life expectancy of the hardware that was not replaced with the door. He also provided information on new equipment, should we find ourselves in need of future repairs/ replacements. Nice job and, if required, I will contact Precision Garage Door for any future maintenance.

On July 9, 2015, Ruben and Tyler showed up ready to install my new garage door. They both introduced themselves. Both were very friendly and courteous. I left them to do their work but checked on them in case anything was needed. The old manual garage door was removed in no time. The new steel garage door was installed with a digital keypad transmitter on the outside wall of the garage door and a wall station next to my light switch as I enter into the garage door. I am so happy with my new garage door its like a xmas present to me. All the sides of the garage door was enclosed and two automatic garage door openers were provided. I was asked to key in my own passcode to open the gaarage door. Ruben explained to me how to lock the swiych whenever I'm out of town. He also explained the up keep of maintainig the garage door by lubricating door hinges, rollers and bearings. If I'm not comfortable in perfrorming the maintanance on the garage door, both advised me that I could call the company and they'll do the maintanance on it. All the old parts to the garage door was removed. I told both of the workers that they did a wonderful job and thanked them.

It went very well. The price was good. They came when they said they were supposed to and they finished up. The garage door is fixed and they did a good job.

Our garage door spring broke on a Saturday as we were getting ready to leave. I called Precision door and they had somebody out in less than 2 hours, Craig the owner. Several repair options were presented in a matter of fact, low pressure way. I could have just had the door repaired, but we had been thinking about getting a new insulated door for awhile. Deciding factors for getting a new door vs. repairing were getting two springs vs. one (our old door had one spring, two improves safety), a new bottom seal (mice had chewed ours), a new factory paint job in Sandtone (our door needed repainting), and all new hardware and track. Craig put up a new spring to get our door operational again while a new door was ordered. The new door took about three weeks to come in, at which point Ruben and Tyler came out to install it. It took them about 2.5 hours to install and they did a great job. The door looks great. We are very happy customers!

Signed up for a "tune-up" on my garage door through Angie's List. Met Ryan who answered my questions about upgrades. He didn't try to sell me anything and said everything was in working order. But I decided to buy a new garage door and he applied the cost of the tune-up to the door cost! Then I met Tyler and Ruben on installation. They called first and were very organized. Ruben took the time to adjust the door and show me how to open it manually if needed. Great website and there are bios and pics of the techs so you know what they look like. Very professional. When I upgrade my opener I definitely will call them again.
