Called and spoke with someone about getting an estimate. They seemed responsive at first and Christian came out right away and took a look at everything. I asked him when I could get the estimate as I really wanted to get the work done ASAP. He told me I would get it in a couple of days. About a week later after not receiving anything I called back and they said Christian didn’t have it just yet but would send it to me. About another week later I called a second time and was told they sent it via email but it must have gone to spam. I checked and it wasn’t in spam folder plus I had received another ad email from them that I did get in my regular email box. I asked if they could just give me the estimate over the phone but the gentleman said he didn’t have it but Christian would send it out later that day. Now a day after that phone call and a few weeks after first asking for an estimate I still haven’t received anything. I suspect the job wasn’t big enough for them but if that was the case they should have just told me that was the case. Left me with a very bad experience.

Refused to honor Angie's List coupon. Wanted to charge $350-400 for a job that was advertised as $100.

They called shortly after i contacted them, came out shortly thereafter to inspect job. They wre professional and EXTREMELY courteous. They started the job on time when they said they would. EXCELLENT work, Result was fantastic. They did everything they said they would do and it came our perfect. They even did a repair on their own just to make certain the job was perfect. They matched the colors perfectly. They left their work area extremely clean. REAL gentlemen while they worked conducted themselves as professionals. Would DEFINITELY hire them again and strongly recommend them.

Excellent work! Its a pleasure to find a company in this day and age that fulfills their promise in a timely and professional manner. Christian, the owner, is hands on guy with his team. They are hardworking group and very personable. After power-washing took most of the paint off, we added an oil primer coat to the quoted (2) coats. Christian took it upon himself to paint some additional areas that were not part of the quote and didn't charge us. He kept me in touch the whole time, cleaned up after himself and made the house beautiful again!

Christian provided a good price for painting most of the second floor of our house. He and his crew we're able to complete the job in only one day while doing a high quality job. We have more work for them and will be definitely using them again in the future.

I was completely satisfied. Christian and his team clearly paint as a profession; the workmanship, clean up, etc. was excellent. Christian also supplied and used the brand of paint and colors I requested as part of his initial pricing estimate. The team painted a 3 floor, new construction, 2300 sq. foot townhome and garage (rolled and cut all interior walls and trim; no ceilings) and every room came out looking wonderful. As a former interior designer; I would both professionally and personally recommend Christian and 5 star. If you are looking for reliable pleasant service, detailed workmanship and timely results - you should hire Christian and 5 star.

Christian and his team painted the entire interior of our new home. They were extremely professional from start to finish. Christian was able to quote me within the hour, and they were able to start the work just a few days later. It took them just 3 days to spackle, sand, and paint two complete floors. And do not let the short amount of work days fool you. The quality of the work was more than we could have hoped for. I would most definitely recommend Christian and his stellar team to anyone looking to have work done.

A professional crew arrived on time, removed furniture and window treatments and worked non-stop with thorough cleanup. I was charged a fair price for a very nice job. What more can you ask for? I have since contracted with them to do additional work.

It was a pleasure to work with Christian Cruz, his father, and the painting crew with Five Star Painting. They arrived promptly at 8:30, went over the project and we went to work. We had the 3 bathrooms and the exterior of the house painted. They did a repair to our roof for free where there was some wood rotting. We were expecting to have to pay for that so that was very courteous of them. They also repaired a wooden piece under the door for free. They went above and beyond what we expected. This has definitely been the best painting company we have ever used. The whole job was done beautifully and we would hire them again without hesitation.

Fantastic work! Christian and his crew are a pleasure to deal with. He came promptly to give an estimate, which was lower than any of the others we got. When we accepted, we were scheduled right away. It took us a while to figure out colors, and Christian was understanding and had no problem postponing painting until we decided. Christian lead the project, and he was both friendly and professional. He was kind enough to work with us and give an affordable price for the work performed. The painters did a fantastic job, and the house looks great. I'm amazed at the difference between what it used to look like, and how it looks now. They were fast, clean, and the quality of their work is excellent. I highly recommend this company for any painting projects.

Christian was prompt in coming over to give me a quote. Communication was simple, via cell-phone, email or text message and between him and his office, they were quick to respond. On the scheduled day, Christian and crew arrived as scheduled around 7.45AM, they were diligent in protecting the work areas. They took time to unscrew all switch-plates and electric outlets before starting. Christian gave me reasonable quotes for additional work I asked him to do and was quick to get the required materials for those. The job was completed the same day, as promised. The crew then again diligently cleaned up after them, replacing all furniture, switch-plates and electrical outlets. We did not have to do any cleaning up and they left the house looking prettier than before!

I'm an architect who's finishing an renovation of my own house. I found the good reviews here and decided to give them a call.? Christian answered and said he would call back and come by the next day, so I texted him my number and address. The next day, didn't hear from him all morning, decided to text him, he replied immediately saying he would get back to me. Then waited till early afternoon, I texted him again saying I don't have all day, he then replied he would come by at 4. Surprisingly, he actually showed up at 4. But he didn't bring a measuring tape, just a note book. He literally just glanced at the rooms and wrote down which room he's asked to do without any dimensions. As an architect who deal with contractors all the time, this is the second sign something is wrong, the first being the unresponsiveness.? He went back to his car to print out a quote and left it in my mailbox.?The name / address and scope of work were all wrong, looked like he just randomly picked another quote from his previous estimates. I called and asked him to add the 2 bedrooms and review the quote, he said he would get back to me again. This went on for the next several days and I ended up calling his office to see if there's someone else I can talk to. If this company is getting all these great responses here, there must be someone who is not as flaky as Christian right? Wrong, I was told he's the only person qualified to give quotes and no body else has access to the quotes he's given. What a shady business. I have no clue how this company got all the great reviews. But if anything, Angies' List is here to prevent us from these kind of shady and flaky contractors who promises to do something and completely flake out on it. And they wasted my whole week of getting my paint job done...

I?ve continuously had a good experience with Five Star Painting. The first project they worked on was painting the exterior of my house. They did a great job, so we asked them to come back and paint some rooms inside as well. They were fast, efficient, and very clean. We love how everything came out and will continue to use them.

The quality of the work was excellent and the entire crew was professional, punctual and friendly. From the beginning, Christian was very helpful and communicative. They did a great job and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to have this type of work done.

Christian and his crew painted my entire house which includes almost 4 floors, including bathrooms. The quote he gave me was very reasonable and he was very transparent on the type of paint (good quality) they will use and how much time it will take. After the initial conversation, Christian also stopped by another time to go through the colors we had selected and provided great advice on which ones would look better and which ones won't. They arrived on time and worked through the job with full dedication. They constantly asked us if we like the way a color is coming out on a wall / room and we're happy to move things around if we needed to. We were extremely pleased with the results , everything was done very neatly and professionally and within the amount of time they estimated earlier. They even did the touch ups for free on moldings and main entrance doors which wasn't part of their quote. Christian also offered to come by in the future to do small touch ups if needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would certainly use them in the future.

The guys were prompt, professional, and pleasant. I loved the way my project turned out. This is my second time using them, and I am actually about to schedule a third job.
