Steve Fried The Handyman

Steve is amazing! The first time I called him he put me at ease. I was really upset cause my bathroom floor was caving in and I didn't know if or how it could be fixed. The first day I talked to him he made it over to check out my floor and while he was there he assured me that it could be fixed and really put my mind at ease. We planned a couple days for the work to be done and Steve showed up right at 0830 when he said he would. The job wound up being a little more than expected but Steve and his partner Curtis worked all thru the first day with no break so it could be finished the next day on schedule! Steve also helped with a few others things around the house like a door knob replacement and he noticed that my toilet was running all the time and he fixed that too...he even fixed a drain that was clogged without me even asking! He's great and I wont hesitate to call him again for whatever I need.

Steve is great. He is the best contractor I have worked with. He is honest and really knows his stuff. He performs quality work. Do not hesitate to call him.

He's honest!! Steve first visited to view job and provide estimate. He and his assistant showed up on the day we agreed on and did a terrific job! They were friendly, prompt, and neat with their work. He even fixed a loose toilet bowl (not in original list)! He charged exactly what he quoted, too. I will definitely use him again. He was easy to reach, and knowledgeable about each project. Thanks for making my first experience with a "handy-man" so easy. Great guy! (Sorry it took so long to write this raving review. )

Steve is THE man. Knows his stuff, fair prices (not the lowest), shows up on time, gets the job done on schedule, quality of work is beyond fault. I recommend him to friends without hesitation.

Steve and his assistant replaced a broken vent pipe in the roof that we thought caused leaking into the house. After several rainfalls, there has been no leaking, so this repair was a success. Steve was competent, professional and punctual.

They were prompt, courteous, and very good. Looks great. He asked a lot of questions to make sure he brought the correct equipment and to ensure it was installed correctly. It was a two man job, and took just a couple of hours or so.

Steve was prompt, quick, and professional. There were some complications, as the building is relatively old. Steve knew exactly what to do. He is precise and methodical and I would recommend him.

Steve and helper arrived promptly and completed task in a timely manner. This included removal of old 6' sliding door, install new and trim in/out of door. Very meticulous, detail oriented and friendly! Will hire again as we are extremely satisfied!

Steve did a great job. He was meticulous and thorough. He also explained the process every step of the way. I had previously hired a different handyman to tix the tile but, he merely recalked and after a few weeks the tiles were loose again. Steve did the job the right way and I will now hire him again to do far more repairs and renovations in my home.

Steve was great. He got hung up at a previous job and was as few minutes late, but communicated with us the whole time. Hanging the 70lb mirror 6 feet up was a challenge, but Steve was creative about solving the problem and got it done quickly and cleanly. He caulked the shower beautifully. Steve was honest, fast, clean and extremely pleasant.

We communicated through Angie's list for a couple days before speaking on the phone. He called to schedule services, he came on time, listened to my needs, explained the process, and finished the job within one hour. I then asked him about my curtains because they kept falling down, and he offered to fix that as well. He was very prepared with the correct tools. He told me how to repair the holes in my wall from previous nail holes. I really liked him, he is personable, and didn't stand around talking. If he was talking, it about the job, and he was still working. He worked independently. I appreciated his professionalism and friendliness.

Steve was punctual, personable and skilled in his craft. He is a great problem solver and does great work. He also fixed three other doors at no extra charge. My house needs a lot of work so I will definitely hire him again.

Steve was very helpful in identifying the issue in my kitchen and creative in coming up with a solution. He took the time to fully explain to me what caused the issue and how he would go about fixing it. He was very punctual from start to finish and everything was done as he stated. Beautifully! He came on time and very personable. He removed all of the carpet in the time he estimated. He was careful about the wood floor underneath. He rolled the carpet up nicely in my garage. I will definitely call him back for some other jobs I have in the house.

Steve was great to work with---a friendly professional who took great care in addressing my need for new doors. He made improvements to benefit me in the long run, such as by installing insulation around the door frames and a door stop in one room to protect an appliance.
