Carlo was very detailed in his inspection, explaining everything to me as he was going. He produced a detailed report with photos and illustrations. I was very pleased with his service.

Dave was our inspector and he was amazing! He was early for the appointment and answered all of our questions. My fiance and I are first time home buyers and Dave took the time to explain everything to us and showed us different signs of the house we needed to be aware of. We highly recommend Vitale Inspections and will be using them in the future when we move again.

It went extremely well--Dave was punctual, thorough, and he took the time to explain things to us as he went along. We learned a lot that day that we never knew before about the inner workings of a house.

I found my house left I unacceptable condition. It was apparent every thing that was touched. Blinds were left half up and down. Screens that were raised were left up/open. Left my items in my attic stored at the top of the pull down stairs moved all over and some pieces over by the eves. Unreachable from the stairs. Reported I had a backdraft on the water heater. Had PSEG examine and found nothing wrong. Turned up the water heater to the max and never turned it down. PSEG noticed to high. Left a Radon test in the basement and left no info that they were testing, I called and they said "What do you want me to do about it?" I said put everything back where it was. No reply or response. Rude. I do have Photos but not handy right now since I have moved.

We are going to be selling our house next spring and my wife and I wanted to have a preemptive review of our home before we sold it so we could see what any items might be an issue. Carlo and Dave were courteous and very knowledgeable and informed us of all the things prospective buyers would be concerned about. There were a few important items (and many less important ones) but we are thrilled to be able to take care of this stuff BEFORE we sell the house. We do not want to be in the position of running around doing repairs from sale to closing. The report with which Carlo supplied us is so thorough, easy to read, with pictures and gives us an excellent "to do" list. Highly recommended!!!

Carlo and his team are incredibly friendly and beyond professional. They respond almost instantly, and delivered results much quicker than estimated. During the inspection they were extremely informative, and made sure that I had a genuine understanding about everything in my new home. Their prices were already lower than everyone else I got quotes from, and on top of that they also donate a portion of their proceeds to a different charity every month. I've already recommended them to all my friends that are moving.

I don't right many reviews, with that it is must for how great these guys were. Carlo (and new hire in training David) were absolutely fantastic. I met w Carlo and David this morning. They were 2 great, professional, super knowledgeable guys really looking out for my and my family's best interests. I'm purchasing a new home that is less than 1 year old so obviously nothing to find….WRONG! Carlo and David found some possibly concerning issues as well as minor small issues. Same day (as in today) I received a detailed report w/ great pictures, explanations, and even words of wisdom for future ownership and what to do to mitigate issues. I walked every step of the way with these guys asking questions and learned so much. As cliche as "Look no further" is I have to say "look no further" and rest assured these are the guys you want! I have already personally recommended them to one of our friends moving in May! Great job guys! - Danny

Carlo met us at the door. He was immediately prepared to complete his inspection. He invited us to accompany him throughout the inspection so that we could fully understand his findings. He was very professional and his detailed report, including pictures, were made available to us the very next day.

Excellent! Anthony was very accommodating with my urgent need and Chris was very thorough in his inspection. Chris showed up early and explained issues in simple language as he went along.

Carlo was on time, professional and extremely thorough. His inspection report was provided early the next day and was 60+ pages long, noting everything a new home buyer would want to know about the home they are purchasing.

The first inspection was started before I got there and was extremely detailed. The report that I received less than 24 hours later highlighted even the slightest concern. After the initial inspection, they took me aside and went over the important items, and even showed me first hand proper vs. improper maintenance for my own reference. I would certainly use them again in the future.

We had our inspection, conducted by Chris cook, earlier this week. Chris was prompt, detailed, thorough, and patient as he answered all of our questions without hesitation and with great detail. He was very communicative, never making me feel that my questions were too naive considering it's my first home buying experience (and I am not really "handy" so I had A LOT of questions). It was the best way to learn the pluses and minuses of our new potential home. They accommodated our schedules and were able to split the inspection into 2 days since the first day the roof was covered with snow. There was no additional charge for the 2nd day and the roof inspection took 15 mins (thankfully it was in pretty good condition). All in all, a very satisfied customer right here.

Excellent Choice for Home Inspection Carlo is absolutely the best home inspector. He was punctual and very thorough. He took the time to talk through his results and explained his concerns in a way that was easy for a non-contractor to understand. His report was detailed and included great pictures. The charge was exactly what he represented at the beginning of the process. Carlo's work helped me to negotiate an additional reduction to the price the home I bought, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality home inspector.

Carlo was early and looked at roof since we wouldn't be able to go up there, by the time we got there, we were ready to go over everything else w/ him. He was very thorough and gave many tips about maintaining as will.

One word...Fantastic! Chris Cook was my inspector. He arrived early to our appointment (a definite plus). He didn't mind me shadowing him through the whole inspection - or asking many questions. He explained what he found in each room and what findings were cause for concern. He left no stone unturned, and his knowledge was extensive. He was professional, but also friendly and approachable (and didn't scare me with any of his findings - great for a nervous first time homebuyer :0p). He also didn't waste time. He got right to work and the inspection took about 1.75 hours. The fee was also quite reasonable (based on the size of my house) and they offer a discount on Angie's list. And my inspection results were ready that night. I was very happy that I hired Vitale. Will recommend and would use again.

I shadowed Carlo Vitale as he performed a thorough job walking inside and around the house. Whenever he found something that was of concern to him he pointed it out to me, explained the reason(s) for his concern, recommended a course of action, and, upon request, provided a rough cost estimate for certain projects. Throughout the inspection he was professional, courteous, and friendly. As promised, I received the detailed inspection report within 24 hours and the contents of the report faithfully reflected the points Carlo had identified to me during the inspection. The report was written clearly and to the point.

Vitale Inspection Services performed a thorough inspection on our potential future home. When I say thorough, I mean every detail (including some easily overlooked by myself and my husband) was acknowledged. I not only feel more comfortable about moving forward with this home, but I learned a wealth of knowledge that will be so beneficial for this, and future home buying. It went great. Everything was inspected and even though the house looked perfect the inspector found many problems that were hazardous and dangerous.
