Even tho it was the large company Roto-Rooter, the man that came was local and familiar with apartment building plumbing. He listened to what i had done try to fix the drain, saw exactly what was wrong, so no time was wasted snaking when the problem was just the spring. He replaced the drain control with one in his truck, and fixed it in less than 1/2 hour. Then I explained the problem with the toilet that I bought 5 years ago and and was never happy with - either it flushed extremely loudly and filled to the sound of a noon air horn or if adjusted to be less noisy and barely flushed at all. He was able to swap out the sophisticated but inappropriate mechanism for a simple quieter flusher that works perfectly. I know nothing about plumbing rates except for my years ago renovation costs so it is totally unfair for me to feel it was a bit expensive for how quickly and simply he was able to fix things, especially since I am so happy with the results. I would pay it again.

Service was performed and all went well. He was to call me upon arrival, but forgot and I could not use their "Angie's List" coupon. Not the end of the world, but I could have used the $50.00 coupon. Workmanship was very good. I will use in the furture if the situation occurs again.

they are a little over price for a simple main line cleaning, the service person was thinking to charge me $450 to clean the main, and after i told him i would call someone else he give me a senior discount. but overall if you think about it if you rent a rotor from homedepot is about 50 bucks, or if you buy your own rotor is about $600. for them to charge something at $450 to push a line in and put it out was kind of overpriced. well anyways if i have other means i would go to a different company, but they are everywhere.

It went well. I really liked the person who came in to do the work. He came in and was straight forward and honest. He gave me an accurate estimate before he even started. He went over their pricing structure with me. He was very clean. He spent about 6 hours doing the work to make sure everything was done properly. It was great.

Great job, from the initial call to scheduling (Grace had all our history and past issues going back several years). Made appt next business day. Pawel (Paul?) came right on time, worked quickly and carefully. Covered all surfaces., answered all questions and concerns; went over the price and discounts before proceeding. We thought it would be a major job, but he got it done fast and also cleaned another drain on the line he suspected of a clog. Very professional from start to finish. In the end, the work is fine. We had three people out to do the work. Every time someone came out, they recommended different things. They recommended a $15,000 job. We ended up having the pipes jetted every two years, which the last guy offered. They are more reasonably priced than some others. They are fast and efficient. We would go with them again if we need it jetted again.

He did an ok job at replacing the toilet, he put the faucets in sideways. I was frustrated and unimpressed with the level of service and professionalish from the first employee. was upset the first guy did not do it properly, he moaned and groaned the whole time, which was very unprifessional. We were happy with the second guy they sent we weish he was the first guy to come out. I said I would use this company again based on the servce from the second professinal.

The work turned out well. I felt they were a little overpriced. They were professional.

They came the day after a bad storm and they were prompt. They were a little on the expensive side.

He was awesome. He was professional, polite. He fixed my problem in just a few minutes. I would recommend them.

They always do a great job. When you have an emergency, they have the tools and man power to take care of the problem. They are very responsive. Dwayne, was terrific. It was definitely worth it. For emergencies, I would call them first.

They came out and were very good. They were able to solve my problem. The technician was very nice and had some good advice.

He said he would have to replace piping. I thought that the guy who came out was trying to sell me on something I could have purchased myself. I called them and they said they would refund me for the part he charged me for. I would call them again, but I would not want that technician coming back out. The grades do not count towards the last technician that came out.

the work went very well the plumber was knowledgable about the problem he was conronted with, he made good suggestion as to how to fix the problem in expensively. He completed the work in a timely manner. very good.

They are pretty good. They came when they said they were going to come. They were effective in communicating what the cost would be before they did the work. It worked out great; I can't complain.

I first obtained prices between three Angies List providers. Roto Rooter was substantially less, and in addition offered a $30 online coupon. Serviceman arrived same day within a few hours (at the scheduled time), completed the job quickly and then offered suggestion as to how to avoid similar problem in the future. I highly recommend them.

We have used Roto-Rooter several times. They were very prompt, very courteous, and very outstanding. I have recommended them. I think that the price was very fair. I will continue to use them.

We called Roto Rooter the night before and scheduled to have someone come to our house between 8-12 the following morning. The technician arrived at 1pm and although it was stressful having to wait all morning, we got calls from the dispatcher updating us on the time frame throughout the morning. We moved into our house less than 2 weeks ago and have had multiple issues with the plumbing, but most recently discovered a large leak in our basement above where our washing machine was recently installed.David Wong arrived and talked through the issue with us for a little while (all at no charge) and helped to identify the root of the problem. David was able to snake the main line all the way to the sewer and clear the drain of whatever was clogging it. He was professional and really helped put us at ease. Although we hope we dont have to call Roto Rooter in the future, if we did, we would definitely call David

Overall, Ben of Roto-Rooter did a pretty good job. He gave us a rather expensive estimate up-front, but given that the problem has sat there for a couple of days with us and a friend applying DIY solutions, we decided to give him a try. He spent a couple of hours cleaning out the drain using at least of couple of "snakes". He was thorough in cleaning-out the drain. What distinguished him from the other plumbing company that worked on the clog at least 4-years ago was he made sure that the water was going down quickly. He also cleaned-up well afterwards. Finally, he gave us advice on maintaining the "clear" condition of our drain going forward. I would have given him an "A", except that he was 3-hours late, because of delays with previous customers that Sunday. Good thing we could afford to wait that day. He mentioned about a 6-month guarantee on the work. That's additional confidence for us.

The plumber, Bill, arrived earlier than expected and assessed the situation. The shower body in our upstairs shower was broken. He explained what needed to be done, how it would be done and the price for the service. He was extremely careful in doing the job properly and cleaned up after himself when the job was done. I would definitely call him back when we need a plumber.

I felt they had very expensive pricing. I had them come to my home, and they said it was bad. They charged $381.00 to run a snake to unclog the bathtub. They had a motorized snake and they unclogged the hair within about 3 minutes. They were not very clean, so I had to make a makeshift rug so they wouldn't ruin the carpet. They didn't use any boot covers. They were late to the appointment by 2-3 hours. I will say they were the only ones to be able to come out in a pinch.

The night before service, our toilet in the main bathroom was clogged and bubbling. I pulled out the plunger and went to work on it. My wife knocked and said that she needed the plunger because something was up with her toilet. I figured that it was a result of me working on the main toilet. I went into her bathroom and started plunging there. In a few seconds we noticed that there was water coming up the drain in the bath tub. We knew immediately the problem. We called Roto-Rooter and dispatch told us someone would call us back shortly. We got a call in around 5 minutes. We explained the situation and the tech (I believe his name was Jaimie, sorry if I'm wrong) advised us that he could come within a half hour, but he didn't recommend it if we could hold off. Not only for the night differential, but also because the back pressure in the pipe would likely make flush nasty water through inlet. We agreed and setup an appointment for first thing in the morning. The tech arrived promptly at 9:30am and went to work. They snaked out blockages up to around 30 feet out, but there still seemed to be a clog. They went out around 50 feet and checked again. Everything seemed good. They tested things out in all 3 of our bathrooms and we were good to go. Because of the advise they gave to wait until the morning, we did not have a big mess on our hands, so their cleanup was quick and easy. Overall it was a good experience and hopefully we won't have to call again, but wouldn't hesitate to if the need arises.

Appointment was easy to obtain and serviceman arrived early and waited. Original price given, on site, was $350. When it appeared that they might not get the job, the price was lowered to $200. We did not have this company perform the work due to this charade. Work was done by another provider on the same day for $175.

All of the staff were highly professional and deferred charges to intermediate steps. The initial service call was ~ $200, which was deferred. Second call (jet) was ~$500, but was deferred due to failure. Third call was $350, which was charged as they had proper diagnosis but failed to resolve issue. Third crew marked location of collapse with a rock and gave detailed description of layout of drainage system as found by their survey. Roto-rooter offered to dig up and clear the drain, but gave estimates that were concerning and a little bit open ended, possibly in the thousands. I called a neighbor that is in the excavating business, his estimate was not open ended, said it would take no more than a day (6 hrs actually) and, therefore, had a fixed estimate. I gave an average quality rating because their location mark for the collapse was off by nearly 50 feet. The excavator dug an initial hole, popped a snake in, only to determine the collapse was farther down. So the error by roto-rooter resulted in additional dig time, but in all honesty I don't think it resulted cost. I say I would not use them again, I am not set on this. I would be tempted to give them work on interior of house, not sure about bigger exterior jobs.

They come right out within twenty four hours. I think if it's a big emergency, they probably just come out the same day. I think the pricing was very competitive. I would definitely use them again in the future.
