The painting work involved dealing with a brick wall, wooden panels, and residue left by old wall paper. Tony was very helpful in giving suggestions to make the place look better as well as in selection of the colors. Tony is a pleasure to have around in the house and we would likely be using him again in the future.

Tony and his assistant did a great job. They were punctual, neat and very efficient. They finished the job in 2 days which was better than expected and all the furniture was put back and undamaged. Tony did the work at what we thought was a very reasonable price and we would definitely use him again.

Well- and he helped with other projects I was doing myself.

Upon initial contact with Tony, I found his schedule to be quite full, but I had some flexibility so we tried our best to work around it. The first day Pablo showed up for the job. He was a hard worker, very efficient, no hassles, no mess, and the job completed was of good quality. He and Tony returned on a later day to finish up with the high ceiling which was a 2 person job for safety reason. They are both courteous and professional. Tony was friendly and accomodating within reason. I would recommend them as long as you are flexible with scheduling. Personally I could use them again.

Tony and Pablo were awesome. They did all the work in less than a week and did a fantastic job. They were prompt and left the place clean at the end of each day. Price was very reasonable. Tony even went out of his way and purchased and replaced most of the wall plates in the rooms. I couldn't believe how well Tony removed the wallpaper. My home looks really nice.

Tony and team showed up on time to perform the work. They were very neat and professional and performed all work agreed upon. In addition, Tony helped me fix a rack in the closet of my sons room which was beyond the service agreement. Overall, They were very in tune with making sure I was satisfied with the job. I would definitely use Clavelli and Painting again when moving forward with doing additional painting in my home.

They were unbelievable! The work was sheer perfection. They left the rooms clean and looking pristine. I will be using them again for all my painting needs! The rooms had a fair amount of holes/damage and the seamtape on two walls were coming off. They completed everything in one day!

Tony painted our kids' bedrooms a few years ago with a faux finish, and did an incredible job. We are still astounded every time we see their rooms, it is the work of an artist. When it was time to redo our kitchen, we thought of him. We replaced some cabinet doors to modernize the look, and Tony painted the cabinets a distressed gray. The work is amazing, and Tony is great to deal with. He's also extremely reasonable when it comes to pricing. Instead of going with a big box retailer for refinishing, you can pay much less and have a real artist do the work!

Clavelli Painting did a great job with my room, everything is done perfectly, the furniture, carpet... are kept perfectly clean. I'm very pleased with the result, and will definitely use them for my next painting job.

Tony is fantastic-- we had used him almost 4 years ago, and we called him again because we were so happy with the faux treatment on the walls that he had done before. We had this horrible paneling that had clearly been done in the 70's in our guest room, and he took the whole room and made it updated. The treatment he did on the walls made the paneling look purposeful and homey. He was very prompt in returning calls, and he did everything in just a few days. He also helped us pick paint colors-- I had an idea for the dining room, and he talked me into a different idea, and I love how it looks and brings the whole space together. I'd recommend him to anyone, and use him again for the next painting job.

He was very professional, thorough, courteous, and quick. He was very concerned with making sure he did a good job. He wasn't concerned when our project went over - he just wanted to make sure it went well. He was great.

This owner and his workers are prompt, courteous and great at what they do. They took rooms that had been botched by a previous owner, made minor repairs as they went along and gave a final product that looks like new rooms in a new home. We liked them so much we brought them back to do the family room the following week. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were great!! I couldn't believe how much they did in a few hours! My walls has a fair amount of little holes and the seam tape had started to wrinkle. they fixed everything and left me with two dustless, perfectly painted rooms that were ready to be lived it.

I hired Tony to paint my two-story family room, foyer, hall and two-story bedroom. He was not the cheapest estimate, but competitive, and I had faith in the reviews as well as confidence in him after speaking with him. The few extra dollars was well worth it!!! These men were prompt, responsive to my needs, neat, professional and precise in their work. They made repairs for me that were not even included in the original estimate yet did not ask to be compensated for it. They went above and beyond what was asked and the workmanship was top notch. Tony is a pleasure to work with and I have never been as pleased with work done in any of my houses as I am with the job they did. I would never use another painter other than Tony.

Tony has enormous patience. My daughter moved from a new house to a very old one that needed an enormous amount of work. Tony explained every step he needed to take to my daughter and her husband. There was a delay in the middle of his job because other contractors were taking longer than expected to complete their work. Tony waited patiently and returned to complete his part as soon as my daughter called him to say she was ready. In a world where it's sometimes hard to trust, Tony Clavelli is the man we will always rely on to work on our family's homes.

I've had Tony do other work in my home and wouldn't have anyone else for this latest job. As always, he and his assistant were on time, professional and meticulous. I know when Tony is working in my home the job will be flawless and this job was no exception. There isn't the slightest irregularity or imperfection in the job. He filled holes and sanded so that the surface is perfect. In the past I talked with Tony about a fireplace surround and hearth that were plain dark gray slate and he made it into a work of art. Everyone who sees that fireplace thinks it is fine chocolate-brown marble! Even when they get down close to it they can't believe it isn't the real thing. Truly an artist. I highly recommend him.

Once you?ve had Clavelli Painting, you?ll never hire anyone else. The overall experience was exceptional and I would highly recommend this painter without hesitation. I had found him on Angie?s List a couple of years ago and had him paint the entire interior of my mother?s townhouse. He did an amazing job! He gave good advice on color selection and really fixed up every imaginable flaw before he even began painting. I immediately wanted to book him to do our home, but certain health crises arose that became a priority instead so I didn?t even leave a review on Angie?s List. Finally, just recently we were able to refocus on our home again and Tony was the first person I called. Over the years we have had professional painters before I came across Tony and I can tell you that Tony surpasses them on every level. He is so talented and a perfectionist with regards to his work. In addition to being responsive and a true professional, he really listens and gives his honest opinion. We were struggling with what color to go with in my son?s bedroom and had different samplings of blue and green on the wall. I remembered Tony being gifted at color selection with my mom?s house, so I stopped sampling and said, ?Let?s just show Tony the colors we?re interested in and see what he says.? Tony took our color palette book and held it to the light coming in by the window and held it to the bedspread and got busy flipping pages and went to colors I never would have considered. He showed me a blue near the gray color family and said, ?That?s a very nice color.? My son liked it. It was darker than anything I had even looked at, but Tony assured me that with the big bright window in his room it would look great. Needless to say, Tony was 100% right! My son?s bedroom is now one of my favorite rooms in the house ? and my son loves it, too! I asked Tony for his opinion with the color I had picked for the family room. Tony again held the palette book up to the wall near the sliding glass door, near the tile floor area, and picked a different yellow, one less ?lemony?. You wouldn?t think it would make that big of a difference, but honestly ? our house looks like a model home now! In addition to getting the color expertise of an interior designer with Clavelli Painting, Tony and the young man working with him meticulously went around finding nails that we didn?t even know were close to coming through the ceiling, they flattened previously bumpy areas, fixed nicks and cracks that were in some of the woodwork by the fireplace, and even reinforced the hardware that held my curtain rods, which were hanging precariously for years! (Tony actually told me what hardware to buy and he put it in for me!) As if that weren?t enough, the previous owners of our home had a flower design professionally painted on an accent wall whose stem and leaves trailed onto the family room wall we were having re-done. I had told Tony not to bother and that he could just paint over it, but to my surprise I came home and there was the newly painted wall with the flower design intact. Tony had flawlessly painted around it! After Tony left, even my husband was looking at it wondering how he did it. Tony is truly amazing! It may seem like a little thing, but this kind of workmanship is hard to find nowadays. Now, of course, I want Tony to paint the rest of my house ? :)

Anthony and Pablo did an outstanding job. When Anthony saw the paint color I had chosen, he advised against it, seeing something in it that I hadn't. He even recommended similar colors that he thought would look much nicer. He arrived promptly at the designated time and got the job done very quickly and efficiently, They fixed any holes and dings in the wall and everything came out beautiful and was very neatly done. When my husband came home he was very, very pleased with the work as well and recommended that I call Anthony back to do another project (that he doesn't want me messing up!). I would highly recommend.

Since we were going from darkened wood with some sort of poly or varnish finish it was important to us that the coverage be complete but at the same time look like a fine finish. Tony explained his techniques and seeing the level of our concern,prepared three of his suggested techniques on a spare cabinate door we gave him. He was low pressure when it came to the "sale" and was comfortable with our many, many questions, even upon his second visit to our home with the sample door. We are very happy with the results! The finish looks great, and has a fine texture. That's due to Tony's professional preparation of the surface and his use of many thin coats rather than a couple thicker ones. He sanded between coats, of course, but this took extra work because of the many coats. The finish is hard and smooth, just as we wanted it. During the process, Tony heard our ongoing and perfectionist concerns and addressed them. He touched up where needed without making any touch up work look like a touch up. Bottom line with Tony is that we got an expert job at a fair price. What's more, Tony is personable and we felt at ease having him in our home. He offered to return should there be any concerns. We would hands down hire Tony again and recommend him to our friends.
