They have not done any work for me yet. I have been out of town. He came by once. He was a very nice gentleman. He was going to get some wood to see what he could do with my ceiling. I have to give him a call back today. I had two parts in my ceiling that needs to be redone - plastering and repainting. I liked the way he had said he had the same problem and I liked the way he suggested it should be repaired. I'm just getting an estimate. I have only had one estimate. He appeared to be a very nice man.

I would highly recommend him. He even did extra work for me without charging me for it. I will definitely call him again.

Tony helped us figure out what to do with our total re-do in the family room. He added crown molding, which made a big difference in the room and he helped with colors. He also re-did the powder room, taking off the old wallpaper and doing an artistic paint job to make it look great. Next is the master bedroom and then who knows? We felt comfortable going off to work with Tony and his guys here in the house.

He was very understanding and cooperative with the consultation. He was very prompt in returning my call. I have contacted Angie's List for a refund for my Big Deal purchase, but they were very pleasant to deal with.

Anthony did a great job, he was on time and returned each day as scheduled. I had big holes in my Walls from the in Wall Speakers I removed. Anthony did a great job with the patch work and you could not even tell that the Speakers were once there. The quality of the work was very good. Anthony also saved us some money on the Paint and recommended a Benjamin Moore paint that was high quality , less money and did not make the house smell. Some Paints really make your house smell and can disturb you when you sleep so the Paint that Anthony recommended was top notch. I will use Anthony again and I would say listen to what he says and recommends, he knows what he is doing. AK, Bridgewater, NJ

Tony returned my initial call the same day. I described the work I wanted done and gave him the dimensions of the rooms. He called back a day or two later and gave me an estimate. I decided to use him and told him that I would like the work done before Thanksgiving and he agreed to call me as soon as he finished another job the following week, which he did. Unfortunately Hurricane Sandy intervened and Tony had a death in the family right after that so we were delayed a week or two, but the work was completed the week before Thanksgiving. Tony was a delight to work with. He is professional, personable,easy going, and very talented. He listened to what I was trying to achieve and offered suggestions to make sure I would get the result I wanted. Tony is a true craftsman but he is also very creative and able to think outside the box. In the past I have encountered painters who are very limited in what they can and/or want to do-- they want to paint walls and ceilings and perhaps remove wallpaper. Nothing more complicated. Tony has a designer's eye . He and his assistant were on time, neat, and no nonsense when they work. I would use Tony again in a heartbeat and look forward to working with him again.

I had checked Angie's list for painters, and liked the reviews of Mr. Clavelli, and then I saw a Big Deal for him. I called and he came over that day. I wasn't quite ready for him, as I hadn't finalized my colors. I called when the boys started school, and he came when he said he would, and they finished before 4:00. I love the colors, even though the dark wall presented some problems. And I was pleased that it only took one day.

I needed two rooms painted and got the special for $549 for 8 hours and two painters. On time and did an OK job. Nothing to rave about.

I hired Tony based on the current special and positive reviews. Tony responded right away to my phone call and was available to paint a few rooms in my home the following week. He promised to call me to arrange a date and followed through as promised. The day of the scheduled painting, Tony arrived with his partner early. He was very friendly, nice and professional. Tony and his partner painted my upstairs hallway and one bathroom and even my living room at last minute. All of the rooms turned out great! Tony even fixed my front door and painted a little touch up around the doorway. He also gave me a few tips on home improvements as this was a newly purchased home that we had not yet moved in to. I really enjoyed my day spent with Tony and his partner and would definitely hire them again.

Anthony Cavelli, is an amazing painter and a very easy going person. When I called to set up an appointment for an estimate with him, he returned my call in a couple of hours and worked around my schedule to come down for giving me the estimate. He immediately saw all the imperfections on the walls and said he would fix them first before painting without my even mentioning it. We were short on time as we had to move in within a week, so he worked aroung his schedule, coming over for a couple of hours after his other commitments were done to prep, and one whole day to paint. He came over at 8 am and worked non-stop with his helper till 4:00pm to complete all the jobs perfectly and always with a smile. I would'nt use anyone else to paint any portion in my house. He went above and beyond everything we asked him and did not even charge extra.

My project was completed in December 201. I should have posted a review sooner because I was delighted with the whole experience. However, six months have passed and I made it a point to post because I can tell you something even more important about me experience now; I'M STILL HAPPY!!! Tony Clavelli of Clavelli painting and wallcoverings is the best and I would refer him to anyone! I had several bad experiences with other contractors, but when I met Tony all that changed; I hit pay-dirt. Tony did what he said he would do and then some. He is prompt and always shows up when he says he will. He was due at my house at 8 am and at 7:45 am he would be outside organizing his supplies etc. At 8 am exactly, he would tap on the door. He is a perfectionist and and expects the same from anyone who works with him. He handled both the estimate and the job himself. When he gave me the estimate my jaw dropped, I was so accustomed to being ripped off I was shocked. Then, when I saw what I got for the money, well I have now words, I was just amazed. Tony is a hard worker works the entire time he is there and he works fast, clean, carefully. He covers things, moves thing and most of all he thinks while he works. He made great suggestions of simple things I could do that would improve the look of the work being done; and he was right every time. While he was here I asked if he knew anyone who I cold trust to do a facelift in my kitchen, believe me, I lost a lot of money trying to freshen up my kitchen. Tony had proven himself to me and I trusted him, so when he told me he could do it, I was delighted. It is clear that he is a man of many skills and talents. Again, he did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. He coordinated everything right down to the plumbing. In a matter of 3 weeks everything old was out and everything new was is. The new cabinet doors were hand made, two-tone (looks very classy; Tony's idea). The two-tone cabinets pulled together some mis-matched cabinetry and now the kitchen looks beautiful! Before I would ever hire anyone for another job, I would call Tony Clavelli first and ask if it was a job he could do! I have great faith in his abilities and have referred him to others who are just as pleased with his work. I can't say enough, but I think the fact that six months later I have found nothing that was missed, nothing that was done wrong or left undone, everything still looks great and I can still rave about the work, the experience and Tony, says it all. I am still delighted!!

Tony Clavelli is very knowledgeable and precise at his craft and offers good advice and possible alternatives for whatever issue you may have. He and his crew were punctual, put in a hard day's work and cleaned up as appropriate. Tony is very personable and very nice to work with. His main concern is to keep the customer satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone that wants a beautiful job at a fair price.

Absolutely the best painter I have ever used. Started early every day and arrived when he said he would be there. Extremely efficient, did not waste time. We did not have to move any furniture or window coverings, he and his partner did it all and replaced everything just as they found it. Very personable good people. It truly is hard to put into words how extraordinarily excellent the quality of their work is. Our house looks better then when we first bought it. He also suggested we add crown molding in couple areas to give that area a more elegant appearance and he was on point. They look fantastic. What I valued most is he is trustworthy. Both my wife and I work so we left them alone in the house everyday until they finished and needless to say they treated our home as if it were their own. We will use him again without hesitation, he's that good. Everything he says he's going to do he does it, from quoting you a price and thats the final cost, giving you the kind of quality you will be beyond satisfied with and finally allowing someone you can trust in your home. Tony was a pleasure to work with. He did a beautiful job painting my home. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and gives great ideas on different things you can do to rooms. He arrived on time, always in a good mood, and left my house very clean. I am excited to continue to work with Tony on additional work I need done. I would definitely recommend Tony.

Tony's presentation was calm, professional and not intimidating. gave suggestions to us which we needed. wasn't afraid to give his opinion which we appreciated. Set up, clean up and work was done on time and he tried hard not to interfere with our living in the areas he was painting. Told us it would take about a week and that's what it was to the day. we were very anxious about the outcome having had a bad experience in the past. this job we could not manage by ourselves and were forced to call in a professional. This man made us comfortable and confident that he knew what he was doing every step of the way. We will definitely call on Tony again in the future and will recommend him to anyone who asks us.

He came to see the house and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and told me exactly how he will finish my home painting project. He gave me a very good price, better than 4 estimates that I got from other companies. Overall Anthony (Tony) is a great worker and nice human being. He was a good listener as well.

Called on a Monday. He was on vacation and still called back at the end of the day. We made an appointment for 3 days later He showed up perfectly on time with a smile ,evaluated the issue ,went to the truck for some supplies and showed me immediatly how it will be resolved. We settled the price and when he could come to do the job . He came back 2 days later perfectly on time for the appointment set and got it done over 3 days as he told me the time it would take. I will never look at any other painter all my life . This is a total experienced pro .

I got several estimates and decided to go with Tony as he was very knowledgeable and his price was among the lowest. They arrived on-time each day, carefully moved all the furniture and cleaned-up very nicely at the end of each day. The job took exactly 1 week as he had said and cost exactly what he quoted. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and will definitely use him again. Excellent job and highly recommended!

Tony came in on the evening of the day I called and gave us an estimate. He listens to his client intently and provides the best suggestions. Two days later, he came in at 8:30am as promised and started preparing the walls. The kitchen was recently remodelled but the walls and trims are not in the best shape. We have a hard time finding the right color to match / contract the cabinets, backsplash, and countertop. He proposes a bold color and the outcome looks great. In addition, he also pained the refinished bathroom ceiling and touch up several ceiling spots. We are very lucky to have him put the finishing touch on our kitchen before thanksgiving! Thank you Tony for your excellent work and we will definitely call you for our next job for the bathroom!

Tony did a fabulous job! He was always on time and very flexible with scheduling. Our home, built in the 1850's is quite eccentric. Tony took special care of all of the little details that make our house special. He offered many good ideas regarding products and techniques, to make sure that we would be happy with the final results. He was always mindful of the contents and overall care of our house. He was meticulous, efficient and did a great cleanup. On his own initiative, paying a lot of attention to the details that make for a great finished product, he removed, and cleaned all window hardware down to the bare metal. This was a very pleasant surprise, since past painters have not taken the time to do this and it really looks great! Overall Tony took the extra effort that was needed to insure that the results were nothing less than perfect, all done within schedule and budget. Tony came when he promised, completed the work as estimated, and offered us ideas on the next job. His work was spotless and perfect. He was able to perfectly match paint in our +100 year old home. He also plastered (such a hard skill to find these days) and repaired/painted a radiator casing that a relative had tried to fix. We'll be calling him back for our next interior job!
