Nelson was great!  Contacted me same day to discuss, sent me a scope of work and price right away.  Because he had to remove my walls (on two floors) due to a roof leak, he took great care to section off the rooms by hanging plastic as to mitigate the dust that accumulates from this type of work.  He worked fast and was done in short order.

MIA Restoration was very responsive and professional. We are first time home owners and had never dealt with mold before. They were great at answering all our questions and concerns about mold and talked us through everything they were doing.

My property sustained substantial flooding during Hurricane Sandy and required mold remediation.  It was difficult to find a contractor during this period when so many homes were affected. A friend told me about MIA Restoration, and they were able to do the job in a very timely manner.  The price was fair, but more importantly, the owner and workers were very professional, efficient and reliable. This was important to me at a time of such uncertainty.  In the end, I was very happy with the job that was done, and was able to quickly rebuild when others were still many steps behind.  The owner, Nelson Rivera is very easy to work with, and his experience assures you that you are in good hands.

The workers were very friendly and they did such a great job. I read a few reviews on other companies to get an idea of what I should be looking out for and was astounded at all the problems and issues many people have with this type of work. Mia restoration was always on time and worked around my schedule, the guys even helped me remove some old boxes and items that were damaged due to the water, and I definitely did not have any ?hidden charges? on the bill. There bill was itemized and detailed and they even followed up with my insurance to help the claim run smoothly. I think when you deal with smaller companies they are more efficient and follow through because they know only they will hear an ear full if there is any problems. As oppose to these bigger franchised companies that your message is never heard and they can care less because no matter what they get paid by the insurance for the job. I highly recommend mia restoration, they have definitely found a loyal customer in me and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone. I really appreciate your efforts for customer satisfaction.

I am completely satisfied by the services provided. Their hours are flexible, so I was able to make an appointment for less than a week after I called. The crew arrived promptly and took precautions to ensure none of my shrubbery or gardening equipment would be damaged while they worked. May not seem like much, but it was appreciated. They wasted no time in setting up and starting the job. The entire process took a few hours and I wasn't disappointed at the end result. My home looked better than when I purchased it. You don't realize how dirty your concrete patio is until it's professionally cleaned. There were no signs of mold, mildew or any dirt for that matter when they were finished. After they were done, they informed me that they had cleaned out any leaves they saw blocking my gutters. I was grateful for the "extra mile" effort they put in to restoring my home. I've used other companies for different services around the house. I can honestly say that these are the most courteous workers I've ever met. Definitely service with a smile. Like most of us, I trusted a friend's referral, and I'm glad that I did. I graded them well because I believe that it's well deserved. I've dealt with other services and they usually end with broken promises and corners being cut. This was a breath of fresh air. Professional and prompt. I'll admit that I'm picky about people working in and around my home. If it's done, I want it done right. Glad to report, I have no complaints. 10 out of 10 for these guys. The service provided was outstanding. Nelson came out the same day. i called and started working and removing all the water. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about the process i had to go through, helped with my insurance claim and followed through by even helping me find contractors for the lighting and wall fixtures needed caused by the water damage. I had a book signing 3 days after this occurred and Nelson made sure there was no signs that this ever happened. I would recommend Mia Restoration for anyone needing services due to mold, water damage, fire damage. I called them again for a Mold issue i had in my NYC showroom and the treatment was done in one day. exceptional service, exceptional person, thank you Mia Restoration.

These guys are excellent, i don't use Angie's List, yet I opened an account just to give them a review. When my basement flooded, I had a team here within hours and they worked with my insurance company and ripped out all of my wet sheet rock and had my basement back to normal in about days. I loved them.
