Not happy, I will have to sand and probably touch up spackle and sand again. He told me painter should do that. I am hiring painter to paint not sand the spackle job.

Worse than expected. Odes is a nice guy but he brings in a couple of workers who are NOT painters. There were several areas that did not get the two coats of paint needed (S/W Emerald paint). I called him and asked him to return. I didn't have much hope in having him return so I painted the second coat myself. To his credit he did come back and paint what was missed. However, (see photos) there are paint splatters all over (every room) that require kneeling and wiping and thumbnail scraping to get up. Think Carl Sagan-billions and billions. These floors were just refinished. I had Ram Board floor protector down in traffic ares and somehow they managed to get paint under it???

Started off with a small job but made it much more expansive because of the great job.

I Purchased the deal on 4/1/17. In 4/4/17, I received this email "Thank you, for your coupon purchase someone Will contact you in normal hours or call 8564725807 for questions." No one contacted me so I contacted the provider on 4/14/17. Odes of Straightline Painters told me that he would be in vacation and unable to come out until after 5/19/17,so we scheduled him to come out on 5/20/17, which I sent to him in a text per his request. On 5/20/17, Odes did not come or call. I called him and he told me that he "forgot" about our appt. and he said that he would come on any day that I chose. We agreed on 5/22/17 between 5:30pm and 6:00. At 4:30pm on 5/22/17, I received this text from Odes " Hi takeisha I apologize that I sick from last night with severe headache and flu I couldn't even work during the day ....Text me an other time that during this week that can work for you." At this point I had waited over a month to have services performed. I informed Odes that I did not want his services and that his performance was unprofessional and showed a complete lack of sensitivity for my time. I opted to seek service providers from Angielist because I was down right sick and tired of providers like Odes not honoring their commitments. Thankfully, I was refunded my money though it was outside of the 30 day refund period. I would never recommend Odes to anyone based on the experience that I had.

Odes did a very good job, was on time and did the work expected with high quality for a reasonable price

We had some minor connection issues at first: some health issues of mine and some email problems of theirs resulting in delays at both ends, but we got past those and found a good date and time. Odes was prompt, got to work upon arrival with no preliminary delay, and the patched areas were quickly in place. Odes had a helper with him, who I guess did keep things moving smoothly, and Odes was attentive to explain the time frame and expense. Ultimately, He appeared especially concerned to know that EVERYTHING I wanted done was done, and he asked several times, which resulted in my looking around to see if there were a few more little things... which there were. All of these fitted into the predetermined time and cost and were not originally considered by me. So, I gladly give Straight Line a level "A" grade! Thanks again to you both.

Absolutely amazing! Odes was such a pleasure to work with! He went out of his way to meet with me and review what needed to be done. Our walls were a mess, and we were doing 3 colors in each room. He took his time to inspect the walls and pointed out areas that I hadn't even noticed needed touch ups. He was professional and courteous at all times and it was a pleasure working with him!

They did a great job. He was on time and completed the agreed upon work.

Arrived punctually and got straight to work. Constantly moved between the two jobs so no time was wasted. Cleaned work areas after the job.

AT FIRST THE CONTRACTOR REFUSES TO GO TO THE JOB SITE. HE STATED THE JOB SITE WAS THE ADDRESS WHERE THE MEMBERSHIP IS RECORDED IN ANGIES. I HAD TO TELL THE CONTRACTOR 4 TIMES WHERE THE JOB SITE ADDRESS.

The work was very good and neatly done. My only complaint is the clean up after completing the work could have been better

Smoothly. Odes was on time and completed the work quickly. Results are clean and professional.

Excellent. Odes did an excellent job. They were highly responsive and courteous. Job was done in a timely manner. They cleaned up each day after themselves. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Everything went fine, the work was accomplished professionally, on time and my wife and I are quite pleased.

My cost: $574.00 paid to the painter in addition to the $199.00 paid to Angies' list for 8 hours of work. The two days spent, none of the days were 8 hours of work in duration.

He and his helper were friendly, professional and good at what they do, also so so polite. They cleaned up after themselves each day and did excellent work.

Very well--no complaints and would hire again.

Odes Calcinot was timely and thorough. He started and completed the work as scheduled. He was very clean and the job site was always left very neat each day after work was stopped.

The work was completed on schedule and the quality was very good. I would use them again.

Straight line painters did an excellent job on my ceiling. Incredible attention to detail and very quick turnaround. Straight line painters are very clean and courteous. They were on time everyday.

Nice happy with their work made a complete change in my house me and my familly happy with thier professional work

Said job would take 1.5 weeks, took over 3 weeks. Poor attention to detail, guy quoted for prep primer and 2 coats of paint, later tried to get away with only one coat of paint. Crew spent half time outside smoking, did not clean up after themselves, poor quality work, will be repainted this spring by professionals.
