The proposal was for us to get an idea on what we could do. The timing was good - he did it in the time he said he'd do it, and he did what he said he'd do.

Visit to house went well, contractor sounded knowledgeable and interested in job. Slow response after visit and plans did not match house visit.

He showed up on time and listened to what we wanted to do, however, when we did receive a basic cad design from him (about a week later - per his schedule) - it was basically a re-do of our current kitchen and did not incorporate some of the changes we wanted to have. Gene is an experienced craftsman, but we did not see the level of detail applied to the design phase.

We had him out to design our bathroom remodel. He was very professional and nice – he even put hospital booties on his shoes when he was in the house. However, I had two quotes that were 40% less than his, and we weren’t necessarily in favor of the layout he offered. I was impressed by his knowledge and design ability, though, so I would still recommend him to others.

Gene was very professional, responsive by email and/or phone, offered us all the options according to our budget, even showed us a great deal to buy a cheap shower stall door on Amazon which we didn't know was a possibility, and installed it at a small cost. He even worked with our insurance company later when we filed a claim for the company to cover the cost of the retiling (due to mold). Gene's team was clean, cleaned up and vacuumed everything every day - there was no sign of dirt or dust. He even worked while we were at work with our dog at home, and had no problems. Very happy with his services and would definitely recommend.

I hired Your Way Contractors, a.k.a Turn Your House Green to insulate my attic. Gene, who is the owner of the company did a home inspection and explained and showed all aspects of what the job would entail. First and foremost, Gene was punctual and very professional which I greatly appreciate. I hired him that day and the job was performed the following week. The job site and my home was perfectly taken care of, they left it as clean as they found it and protected everything in their passage way in and out of the house. His son Ryan, did most of the work along with another crew member and they were very friendly and professional. I am very picky when it comes to having anybody work on my home and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest and professional contractor. They may be a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get - and with Your Way Contractors you will surely be happy with the job.

Gene and his crew were awesome. Prompt, clean, courteous and they did an great job. They were good to my 80lbs boxer dog and communicated the status of the job each day. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Gene is hands down the best contractor I have ever worked with. I hired him to redo my main bathroom. With only one shower in the house, Gene went out of his way to ensure the project caused as little disruption as possible. He did the demo while I was on vacation, and by the time I got back there was a temporary, working shower for me to use. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. After an initial appointment at my home, he returned a proposal to me in less than 12 hours. He scoped the work properly and provided a fair estimate. Based upon his responsiveness and the fabulous experience that my neighbor had recently had with Your Way, I decided to hire them. I never regretted this decision. Gene, his son, Ryan, and all of his sub-contractors (plumber, electrician) are polite, patient, and super punctual. They were a pleasure to work with. And the work completed was done with the utmost care and precision. Gene took the time to discuss all points of the project with me, and patiently answered all of my questions. To top it all off, he left the house cleaner than he found it each day! The project site, as well as my garage, were kept neat as a pin and never got in my way. The project was enjoyable and completed in a timely fashion. The end product is terrific thanks to Gene and his crew. I would not hesitate to use them again for any remodeling project and I cannot speak highly enough of Your Way.

After sustaining damage in our basement due to a water leak, we brought Your Way Contractors in to replace the ruined sheet rock and mouldings, and to paint. Once again, they were punctual and efficient in their work (completing the project in two days).

We hired Your Way Contractors for a second time to complete a remodeling project in our home. We wanted to knock down a wall between our kitchen and family room for a seamless room to room transition and open floor plan. Gene offered creative solutions and quickly began assessing the potential options. We brought in Gene's recommended engineer to draw up blue prints for submission to the town. As with the previous projects, Gene and his crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up after themselves very well. The hardwood floor in our family room was installed by the previous owners, but Gene was able to track down the company and drove into NYC to order the correct wood so as to match what was already in place. Gene accepts nothing less than perfection, and the remodel shows it.

After a pipe burst in our home in January, we hired Gene and his crew to repair the damage in our garage, second floor bathroom and to the overhang on our outside deck. From the first time we contacted Gene for an estimate, he was prompt to respond to all inquiries. He and his crew were consistently punctual throughout the duration of their work, arriving each morning by 7:30AM. Their work was impeccable, and their clean-up job at the end of each day was phenomenal - so much so that you would not know they had been working all day. As issues arose, Gene was quick to come up with solutions and kept us apprised at all times of the situation. Additionally, it was nice to have a crew that was consistent throughout the process - comprising of Gene, his son Ryan, and a third member Cesar. Overall, we were thrilled with the quality of the work and plan on using Your Way Contractors in the future.

He did what we contracted him to do and it's what we agreed upon. The job was good. They've done the insulation in the attic and everything was vacuumed and cleaned up perfectly afterwards.

Gene did an amazing job!!! He remained on budge, was professional, timely and dependable. He was willing to teach us how to do some of the demo to save cost. He made the space look like the bathroom always existed in the location. Gene also added crown molding to make the whole project come together. Overall, Gene did a wonderful job! I would definitely recommend him and have gotten tons of compliments on the addition.

From the first phone call to Your Way Contractors to the end of the job, Gene was very responsive. We had a few other quotes from other contractors for our project, but when Gene came to meet with us about our project, he brought along his Macbook with pictures from his other projects. At that point, I could see the work that he had done in the past, and was excited for our project to begin. I felt by looking at those pictures and meeting with him he understood, and had experience with some of the issues we would face as we moved along in the project. He worked along his crew daily. Completed the work in a timely manner. They promised no dumpster in the driveway for the length of the project, and followed through. Each day they vacuumed up. Even during the beginning of the project, it was an "organized mess". Gene was very respectful of our house, and addressed any and all questions during the process. They worked hard each day , and completed the project within the expected time frame. We are happy with the final outcome of the project. He was very organized, professional, and easy to work with. A few of the decisions we made were an additional amount over the quoted price, but I felt his prices were fair, and the contract was clear on what his quoted price covered. I would definitely call him again for any future projects.
