Gene and Ryan were absolutely wonderful! We contacted them after another contractor failed to . complete the job and they found the time to complete the job in a professional and timely manner. They listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and took their time perfecting their work. They were on time, clean and very communicative. We had no worries leaving them to complete the work once discussed because we knew that the work would come out as expected or better. If you are looking for a contractor that you don't have to "babysit", these are your guys. Our laundry room came out beautiful and better than we had hoped

Your Way Contractors are professional, dependable, punctual and very responsive. Gene and his son, Ryan, were great to work with on the kitchen renovation. Of all the contractors we spoke to, Gene was the only one who saw the possibility of removing the load bearing wall to open up the kitchen. Gene has a passion for his work and it showed in the finished product. We hope to work with him again when we renovate the bathroom.

Best contractor I have ever dealt with. Works quickly and cleanly. Extremely knowledgeable very up to date on building trends/codes and new products. Doesn't take "short cuts" --- does things the "right way" to get the best and longest lasting results. Uses quality materials . Get what you pay for . Responds to texts, emails, calls very quickly, which is a rarity amongst most contractors. Shows up when they say they will, often including early in the morning , to get the most work done . We would use him for every job we need - and plan to.

Gene provides the highest quality of workmanship and customer service. He doesn't cut corners and he takes care of everything from design, city approval, installation, customization, contacting vendors, and cleanup. We are a family of working professionals and we very much appreciate him being able to do the entire project with little supervision even when our vendors got the parts wrong multiple times. If you want the best, go with Gene.

Your Way Contractors has remodeled both a bathroom and basement for us on two different occasions. Neither job was easy, given we have an older house, but Gene's level of technical knowledge has made both areas excellent spaces for us in our home. We have found Your Way Contractors to be professional, systematic and adhering to timelines - all of the things you want in a contractor to whom you give big jobs. We will definitely consider Gene for future remodel opportunities.

Loved working with Gene and his son, they are professional and work went on schedule and the finished product ended up looking terrific. Interestingly enough we developed what we thought was a leak from one of the basement windows more than a year after the initial work was completed. Gene returned a number of times and finally tracked the leak to a broken kitchen pipe. Although this has nothing to do with the original job he fixed both the kitchen and the basement! We would certainly call them again!

Your Way Contractors are totally reliable and professional. The job was executed as described and promised. If they say they are coming, they come. All my concerns were addressed and the bathroom came out great! They are also fair regarding costs and stand by all their work- any minor error or defect was taken care of. Gene and Ryan aim to please the customer. They communicated with me each step of the way and made sure I was happy. I would totally trust them with any home improvement project.

Everything went great. Extremely responsive to needs and desires throughout the projects and never felt as if I needed to chase on anything. Always was kept aware of status of how the projects were progressing and what I needed to do to keep things moving. Final product on all is terrific.

I am very happy with the final outcome. Gene and his son Ryan did an awesome job. They came everyday on time and cleaned up everyday before they left. I couldn't be happier with the final project.

Gene and the entire Your Way team are amazing. We have a beautiful bathroom that our entire family loves. Highlights include: *They are SO CLEAN. I am a very neat person and the idea of a mess in my bedroom was a nightmare. They put most of their tools away every single day and vacuumed the entire area including nearby rooms that might have dust as well. Of course, they try to prevent the need for this with awesome ventilation and taping off the area but some dust always gets through. *The work is of very high quality. Our bathroom feels like a luxury resort. *They give advice when you need it re: materials. I didn't think they were pushy AT ALL but when I was about to make a big mistake materials wise, Gene stepped in and just said, you should re-think this. I needed that! I valued his opinion very highly because he wasn't trying to sell me anything, just wanted us to create the best possible bathroom for us that would stand the test of time. *They are very organized and presented me with a list of things I needed to get (material wise) as soon as we kicked off the job. *They will go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable while the work is being done on your home. *They stand behind their work; Gene just came back a year after our job was complete to help with a small repair. *They are just nice people. We loved their whole team. My kids enjoyed talking with them and seeing them come each day. My daughters even had a nickname for many of their team members.

They were great again. My son has work out equipment and they were careful to wrap it to avoid the dust getting into it and even created a custom cut out in the ceiling so it would fit better. Workers were on time, and often did little extras such as changing outlets when they were not grounded ones. Highly recommend for quality work within the time frames they give you.

Gene was very professional?and honest. ?Starting from the estimate, an accurate estimate was provided. He also provided a lot of useful recommendation. The entire project took about 3 months to complete. Gene and his team is Very friendly, responsive, punctual. I will use him again for future projects.

I can't say enough about Gene and his team. They are the ultimate professionals. Gene is responsible, dependable and trustworthy. Gene and his team were always showed up when they said they would, they were punctual, and always left the house clean. This was a major renovation on multiple floors while we still lived in the house. He walked us through every step of the process and anticipated issues that we wouldn't have known to even look for. He thought through every part of the design and always kept an eye on the budget, making sure we didn't go beyond our expectations and found ways to get us everything we needed (and wanted). It really was a great experience

We selected Your Way contractors after having multiple contractors review our basement for remodeling. It was a large job and we wanted to go with someone that would collaborate with us to make the most of the space. We knew the job would take several months and we have small children and pets so we wanted to make sure the folks in our home respected our needs. We were thoroughly impressed with Gene from the initial contact through the end of the job. He took the time to understand our goals for the space even though we didn't have many specific ideas. He was non-pressuring through the pre-sales process and showed us pictures, answered our questions and gave us ideas. Once we decided to move forward with the project, Gene generated a computer drawing so we could envision the layout. He was also very knowledgeable about the permitting process in our area which saved us a lot of back-and-forth with the township. His crew was punctual, worked cleanly and always provided me with updates or let me know if they had questions. Gene prides himself on his communications and was always available when I needed him. He routinely returned phone calls/texts/emails within hours. When we had some problems, Gene was there personally to fix them and always made sure we felt good about how it was fixed. He went above and beyond in several instances to help me secure materials and to answer some emergency calls at off hours (of which, none were related to any work he was doing but happily helped me out). Throughout the entire project, Gene's focus was on making sure that we were thrilled with the results. In the end, we are thrilled with how the basement came out and we've already recommended Your Way Contractors to our friends. When the time comes to do more work to our home, Gene will be our first call.

Old cabinets and appliances were removed and saved for later use. Demolition, removal and erection of new walls for expanding kitchen space were done. Floor was removed and replaced with hardwood floor. All cabinets were replaced with new ones ordered from a vendor. Island withe cabinets were installed. Patio door was removed and replaced with new. Back splash was tiled. New electrical wiring for lights, appliances, under counter lighting, etc. and a breaker box were put into service. New plumbing for sinks, instant hot water dispenser, dish washer, refrigerator and washer was put in. Laundry room closet was installed adjacent to the kitchen space.

This is the second project Your Way Contractors has completed for us. We are extremely satisfied with the work performed by Gene and his crew. The entire process, obtaining the quote, scheduling the start of the job after picking out our materials, and while the work was being performed shows total respect for the homeowner. Gene was great at communicating schedules, returns calls/emails/texts in a timely manner. The crew worked cleanly and quickly each day! The first day of the job (demo day) Ryan had tarps down (to protect our carpet and floors) and the toilet was out within a half hour of arrival. The bathroom shower walls and floor and tub were removed the first day, and the new tub was in place by the end of the day! The tile guys did a beautiful job on our new floor and shower. What I appreciate most is Gene's composure when problems occur. We had 3 issues with materials purchased from a different vendor. The sill plate for our shower was thicker than the vendor had originally quoted, Gene used his skill to fix the gap without ruining the tile while he cut it. The counter top and sink did not fit with our custom vanity, Gene used his skill and tools to "modify" the cabinet in order to use the pieces we had purchased. We had an issue with our brand new Kohler faucet dripping, Gene took the time help identify the issue and replaced the faulty cartridge. He worked hard to ensure we were satisfied with the job, and has a great attention to detail. As a parent of young children in the house, I appreciate the attention to cleanliness during the entire project. The demo days, a special air filter machine was used to keep the dust down. Tarps were put down to cover the flooring on days materials are being carried in/out. When the tarps aren't down, the guys wear boot covers each time they come in and out, so they don't track anything from their boots on the carpet. They vacuum up after themselves each day. The entire crew is friendly. I felt like any concerns we had during the project were handled in a timely and considerate manner.

Gene is terrific, he is thorough, skilled and an outstanding communicator. He gave us a detailed description of his plans and his price estimate was right in line with others we recieved. He took our barely finished 1970's basement with disgusting wood paneling and drop ceiling tiles and not only brought it into this century but made it a room I actually want to spend time in. He is very detail focused and set up all the wiring for my husband's office area and made sure our large screen tv was set up properly. Either he or his son was almost always at the job and they were totally trustworthy. In addition they were willing and able to work around my dog and set things up to keep her from running out! He also designed a huge storage closet for me. Anyway I can't say enough about Gene and we will certainly use him for our next job!

Gene did everything he said he would do and more. He was honest, reliable, knowledgeable regarding his craft, and did it all at a fair price. Gene would text or email me regarding timing or specifics of the job and he always came through. I was constantly in the loop and he would ask me about any necessary decisions before proceeding. If I was dissatisfied with an outcome, he would redo it! His workers were polite and neat. They also responded to all my requests. Finances- there were a couple of cases where an error was made that was no one's fault and Gene "ate the cost" since it was his overall plan and he felt responsible. He never tried to nickel and dime me. The most important aspect of Your Way Contractors is that Gene, the owner, has integrity. As with any big job, there were problems and mistakes along the way, and Gene made sure that they were all corrected to my satisfaction. He would keep coming back until the job was correct. I don't think you can ask for more. Also, the finished product looks great! I highly recommend Your Way Contractors and I will use them again.

We were very happy with the result of our basement remodel. Gene was very courteous and listened to our ideas before presenting a computer generated view of the finished project. Outstanding ! Gene completed the job on time and right at budget. He and his team were professional & kept our home spotless. Gene created a wonderful new living space for our family. I would highly recommend him !

Although they were the most expensive by far from other quotes, the quality of work was far superior than I would get from more of the cookie cutter companies. Gene was creative with the design and went above and beyond my expectations. This was a more challenging job due to the small size of the basement and the low duct work. Gene made sure I was happy along the way and made adjustments when requested. I'm extremely happy with the finished product.

Things I like about Your Way Contractors: You deal with the owner, Gene Engelman. Either Gene or his son Ryan were almost always present when work was in progress (they were not always present while the subcontractors were working). Gene is very pleasant to deal with, and he is a good communicator who used e-mail and text messages effectively to keep me up-to-date on status and plans. Gene provided good drawings and plans to illustrate what was to be done, and he obtained the permitsThe work was skillfully done and finished well. A few mistakes were made, but they were fixed properly, promptly, and to my satisfaction. The plumber left the sink installation unfinished. However, Gene kept working on it until it worked satisfactorily. He also cleaned the drains in both bathrooms when I expressed concern about them. Things that might have been better:As I mentioned above, there were a few mistakes made that extended the timeframe.

They provided me with a design for my kitchen. I am not moving forward with the project at this time but I wanted to get an estimate for the service.

Gene was fabulous a real professional his team were in early in the morning and got the job done in about 4 days.

They were very professional, responsive, and punctual. They got the design back to us in about one week just as they said they would. The design that they came up with a design that we would be interested in. However, we ended up not moving forward with the project at this time.
