The saleswoman, Nancy, was helpful without dogging my footsteps. She introduced herself when I walked into the store and let me know she was available to answer questions. She did not follow me around making comments regarding everything I looked at. When I did have a question she answered it without trying to embellish the answer with a sales effort. As a result, after visiting several furniture dealers who were annoying to the point that I could not think, I purchased my sofa at Value City. I will be making more purchases there as soon as I have decided what I will need for my new home. And when I do, I will be sure to deal with Nancy! I did notice several people wandering around the store looking at items without having a salesperson breathing down their necks, so it must be store policy. I just liked Nancy, and enjoyed dealing with her.

Delivery was promised for the afternoon of 2/16, and the sofa was delivered on time. The delivery men were fast and efficient. They placed the furniture where I wanted it, removed the protective wrappings, took the wrappings with them and left all within a few minutes.

I am more than pleased by the service, the FREE delivery, and the price.

The staff at Martin's Furniture was professional and helpful without being overbearing or trying to up-sell us. The selection and prices are pretty good, and they have a wide variety of upholstery styles available. Compared to other stores in the area, I think the variety here is better. Delivery took a while (over 2 months), but unfortunately this seems to be typical for the other furniture stores we purchased from as well.
