These guys did everything possible to please my lovely, perfectionist wife...& they came verrrrry close! They make sure you're happy with the end result. Reliable, good work at a reasonable price!

They did a great job. In addition to painting, we have a large arbor attached to the house that was in really bad shape. They repaired it, replacing perhaps 25% of the wood. Their price for this was extremely low and the results great. They also worked with me to ensure that all windows opened and worked properly. They could have done a better job cleaning up after scraping off the loose paint, but then I never mentioned it to them. I'm sure that if I had, they would have taken care of the bits that remained to be done. I certainly would recommend them to anyone looking for painting.

The contractor did excellent work

Quality of the work was excellent. John (the J in J&S) responded to issues immediately. However, communications between the paint store (where J&S buys the materials) and me, although presented in writing and followed up w/ a phone called, led to paint being applied instead of stain. This situation was corrected to my satisfaction BUT at additional cost to me, even though this was caused by the paint supplier. Overall, the job was completed to my satisfaction, but at a price. Invoices from the paint store should be checked carefully. Product numbers are used in place of product descriptions.

I received the estimate in a timely manner and the team began immediately. Since I had to go to work I left Gerardo and his men in my home while I went to work; when I got home, they were gone and the house was cleaned up as much as possible. We all know how hard it is when your whole house is being painted, but J&S was in and out and did a wonderfully professional job! I love it!

J&S (John & Steve) were great. I met both and they were the best choice - not a hard sell, excellent pricing and very respectful/understanding of what I wanted. They also put a new floor in the dining room @ an extremely reasonable price! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND J&S Contracting.

Steve gave me his price quote. Even though they were a little higher than the others (but not by much) I decided to hire them instead. In my opinion price is an important factor BUT it should never be the deciding factor. Based upon their reviews and professionalism, I went with J&S Painting Contractors, Inc. The following day the painters came to the house. They were 6 in all. This crew went above and beyond the call of duty! The entire house interior was painted with two coats in one whole day. Their attention to detail is phenomenal and are super clean! Forget about any other painters and hire them, they are worth every cent! Thanks, ED

J&S provided a quality job for a decent price. They also finished the painting job in a timely manner and kept their promise with regard to the completion time. These guys were great. They were reasonably priced, completed the the job ahead of schedule, and produced a quality paint job. Jack was awesome, he worked from 8:30 am to almost 9:00 pm straight to get the job done ahead of schedule. They painted my LR, DR, Foyer, Hallway, Doors, and 1 BR in 2 days.

This is the only second painters allowed in my house by my wife. So was so happy as my only painter in last 15 years was so busy. Definitely use them again.
