Absolutely excellent! He was prompt, polite and professional. He kept me informed on time constraints and expectations. The laminate installation was perfect!

Everything went excellently. Everyone was professional and polite from start to finish, with good attention to detail. Julian began when he said he was going to and ended within the window given. I wanted to use low-VOC products and he gave me information about potential products so I could make the best choice for me. The floor he replaced was done poorly by a general contractor. (Apparently, he couldn't do anything specific, despite being very well-regarded.) The difference in know-how and execution in this specialized task was vast, and it definitely shows up in the quality of the final product. Julian went above and beyond (like sealing some concrete) and then even dropped his price a little after the installation cost less than he had originally thought. I would highly recommend this company.

Julian returned my initial call promptly and set up a day for an estimate. He arrived on time and took careful measurements. His estimate was very fair. I needed time to put away the knick knacks so we set the installation a few weeks out. He was helpful in picking what kind of wood but left the decisions up to me. He told me how much to order and gave an estimate for overage. He estimated the job would take 3 days but he finished in 2. He and his brother did the installation and were a pleasure to meet. They were professional and friendly to all, including the dog. They helped move some heavy furniture and helped put pads on the feet to prevent future scratches. They worked diligently and were extremely careful to clean up everything. The floors are gorgeous. This is the first renovation that made my husband go "wow." I certainly plan to call him again.

When I called Julian to provide an estimate for carpet, he responded same day, and brought carpet samples to me promptly. He encouraged me to take my time selecting a carpet and to call him with any questions. When I chose the carpet style and colors, I called him and we set up the appointment for installation. He was very accommodating to my schedule and it's limitations. I had a lot of questions before the installation appointment, and he always answered them timely.If I had to leave him a message, he always returned calls timely. Also, if he said he would call me on a certain day, he always did! He and his team showed up early on the first day of the job, and he took care of moving the heavy furniture around since I was unable to do so. My home was tidy when I returned home from work, almost as though he was never there since he cleaned up the area so well before he left. The second/last day of the job, he arrived early again. He always arrived with a friendly smile, even though it was somewhat early in the morning and I was perhaps not as friendly since it was early in the morning! The way he conducts his business, I felt very comfortable with him working at my house, and I would eagerly recommend him to anyone who needs flooring done at their home! He moved the heavy furniture items back to their respective places which was a big help to me since I could not do so alone. He is just an all around trustworthy, reputable, punctual, helpful and talented person, and the same goes for his work team.

Julian did an excellent and comprehensive job. No nonsense worker with his up to 2 other assistants. No distractions, just worked the entire time he was here as did his assistants. Reasonable price, always prompt, cleaned up after every day, finished a 5 day job earlier than expected. Workmanship is excellent. We would and will use Julian and his company again in the future. We are very happy with the results and how the project was performed.

Julian and his co-worker were punctual and of pleasant demeanor each morning they came to my home. I found it very easy to talk to them, and they were very friendly, yet professional. I cannot say enough good things about the end result, my new tile floors look great, dare I say perfect! I was so thrilled with the work Julian did that I am getting an estimate from him for carpet installation for my entire home. A few of my neighbors also approached him while he was working at my home, and commented how professional and courteous he was.

J. Carig installed laminate flooring in my hallway and down my stairs. He arrived to do the measurements in a timely fashion after our phone contact. Then he set a date for doing the work. He had a cancelation which resulted in his willingness to move us up on the calendar finishing the job two weeks before originally schedules.. He was courteous, prompt, diligent and offered suggestions for options on how the job could be done. He offered to add carpet on the back of the stairs and came back the next week to install the moulding on the stairs when I decided not to have the carpet installed. The stairs and floor look great!

I can't say enough about Julian, the owner of J. Craig's Flooring! It took four and half days combined to finish the Powder Room and the Master Bath and he stayed with the project until it was completed. He arrived each day on time, protected the work area and the area leading to the work area each day and also left the job site clean every day. He is very pleasant, honest and eager to satisfy the customer. Detail oriented, he did not rush through the job and it showed. The quality of his work is excellent and the price was very fair. I intend to hire J. Craig's Flooring in the future for our other floor projects and would highly recommend his services to anyone for their flooring needs.

Mr. Craig was extremely meticulous and professional. He arrived as scheduled and installation was excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND contacting Mr. Craig for your flooring needs. Clean up following the compleion : Excellent Punchlist: items upon completion was excellent. Three other contractors were contacted before a final decilsion was made. Mr. Craig offered the lowest price. It is hard to image that the other contractors could do a better job. If you want to purchase the materials yourself, Mr. Craig is patient and will walk you through the process.

Julian was very professional and friendly from the first time he came by to give an estimate to the end of the job. He provided accurate measurements and gave me some suggestions for purchasing the tile. He returned calls/texts quickly and was able to answer my questions. His estimate was reasonable when compared to other estimates. Julian was trustworthy, professional, neat, unobtrusive, and friendly, and he was always arrived at the time he said he would. I was very happy with the experience and both bathrooms look beautiful. I would definitely use him again in the future.

They quoted me little high. I got very good feeling for that person, but it was just out of my budget. I considered J.Craig's Flooring service because of good things written about him on Angie's list. He spent about an hour with the estimate and explaining things to me. If I had a little more money, I probably would have done it with him. I got the feeling that he was going to do everything that he said that he was going to do. He has been very knowledgeable. He did spend a lot of time explaining to me. I felt kind of bad that I could not go with his service because he did spend a lot of time and I guess that is the way he goes. If I got more money I would definitely consider using J.Craig's Flooring service in the future.

Julian was very professional, he came out and explained what he would do for us at a fair price. He gave us recommendations on the old floor which we tore up after he listed the advantage to doing that. We tore up the old floor. Julian told us how long the installation would take and he was right on with his estimate. During the installation which took 3 days he and his workers were very courteous and professional. They worked all three days from 8AM to 4PM and kept things cleaned up at the end of each day. He gave a suggestion of installing kick plates under the counters,which we had not thought of prior to his recommendation. He followed up after the installation and we will have Julian install some carpet in our family room also. He is very professional and thorough and I would recommend his company. We have received requests for his phone number from our neighbors who have seen our floor.

The porcelain tile project went smoothly. There was some demolition work involved that required him to have a helper on a few days, and the project took a bit longer than planned due to his having to repair some water damage in one of the baths that we had not counted on, but his work was excellent. The tub refinisher asked for the name of our tile guy because he was impressed with the work and wanted to be able to give Julian's name to his tub refinishing customers who would like tile work. Jules is also very clean, he puts down mats everywhere so he doesn't track anything through the house, and cleans up every evening before leaving. He was able to suggest different tile patterns and designs as the work progressed, and was able to come up with some creative solutions for working with an old house that has its share of quirky corners and odd layouts.

Julian came to estimate the job and get the details of what we wanted done. We both had hopes of being able to remove the tile from the wet-bed, rather than having to destroy the wet-bed on the floor and walls. This was not to be, not because it wasn't do-able as much as because the electrician and plumber needed access, so up (and down) came the wet-bed. Then, of course, the walls and floors needed to be redone. This added about a week and a half to the original time frame. In the master bath's shower, some of the backer-board and wood framing was rotted and ended up having to be replaced. Again, this added some time. What I think is so complimentary about Julian, is that he just rolled with everything, came up with solutions, and did what had to get done. Also, he was fully willing to use the Schluter system, something very few, in these parts, have seen before. He did appropriate research and complied with all specs. Next, came his artwork. The tile work is perfect! He had to use a variety of materials to make it work, but he did. Everything is level, even though our house isn't. Not easy. I have three beautiful new bathrooms!
