Excellent work!

The customer service was fabulous! I called, the woman answering asked if it would be okay for the man to come at end of day, I was grateful for same day service! Then she called mid day and asked if it was possible for someone to let him in early as he was in my area early. It happens I was already on the way home so things worked out perfectly. He came, did his work quickly and professionally and was on his way. I would recommend this company to anyone!

My door needed reinforcement where the arm connects due to damage. Jon was the tech that was over and was on time, corteous, and confident in how to correct the damage without buying a new door. Within an hour, he fixed the door plus performed an inspection and rountine maintenance on both garage doors. Pricing was well below what I expected. Upon reviewing my bill, I emailed a question regarding the charges and was quickly answered with an adequate explanation. Customer service from both a Deanna (Customer Care Rep) and from Jon (the tech) were stellar. I would easily recommend TGS Garages & Doors and will call on them for regular routine maintenance and any repairs I may need in the future.

The service was excellent and the technician extremely knowledgeable. He replaced my garage door opener in a timely manner.

Never completed work, left with parts not working. Scheduling of work not even close to promised. No one returned to complete work, called or returned calls.

They came out quickly because my door was unusable. From then to install, it was four weeks to the day. I will give them leeway since they came out Christmas Eve, and so about a week was lost due to the holidays. The salesman who came out was friendly. He gave me the impression that they could expedite the replacement, but it turns out I think that wasn't true. I was a little disappointed by that and by his lack of responsiveness in email. Between the initial visit/order and install, I heard nothing until I reached out. Maybe this was because of the unrealistic expectation set by suggesting it could be expedited, because he did say the normal timeframe is about three weeks. When I did follow up, I was given wrong dates for when the doors would be delivered. I was told someone would contact us last Thurs, then last Friday, and I was not contacted. I had to follow up multiple times. Perhaps I was too anxious to get the install done, but our garage was unusable in the meantime. Anyways, I think the quality of the door is good. We were replacing a very old, heavy door, so it is a big difference. It is sealed much better. The install was done within a day, so I was happy with that. In terms of value, I think I probably could have gotten a cheaper deal had I shopped around, but I was in a hurry to get it fixed. It was a bit above the average reported here, but I have a larger garage, so maybe that is why. Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend. If you have time, of course, get multiple quotes. Expect at least three weeks before install (for door manufacturing). The main reason for the loss of stars in my rating has to do with setting incorrect expectations, not proactively communicating, and not calling when they said they would. Not a huge problem in the big scheme, but just want to be honest for other customers' sakes.

They did a great job, happy with the service

I had an excellent experience. Everyone that answered the phone was friendly and helpful. Andy came out to talk to us about the job. He looked at everything, answered all of our questions and before he left our home we had everything in place. Pedro came to install the door and was later joined by Eric. Both installers were very professional and friendly. They did an excellent job and took the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. I thought the price was very reasonable. I had another estimate that was double what we paid. Not to mention that the customer service just cannot be beat. They addressed every little concern or question I had in a timely and efficient manner. I would fully recommend them and should I ever need another garage door I would hire them in a heartbeat.

Job was done excellently. I had another contractor come who would have it done it much less expensively. But the customer service was excellent, the service man was excellent, and the garage door works flawlessly. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
