Matt Onifer and his crew were extremely professional. I recommend MO2 Renovations highly. Matt and his crew were courteous, considerate and outstanding craftsmen. Besides outstanding workmanship, I appreciated his communications skills. Every phone call was answered promptly. Most of the time, within minutes. There was always preparation to keep the surrounding area protected. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up and surrounding areas were vacuumed. All the work was done within a reasonable time frame. I especially liked that he confirmed choices (such as placement of grab bar, towel bars, etc.) right before installation affording the opportunity to change original ideas. I am extremely satisfied with the results.

MO2 is about a third of the way through the projects and we have no complaints. The subcontractors are all skilled and easy to work with. They show up when they say they are going to be there and the quality of the work to date has been great. We can't wait to see everything finished. Will update the review when they are done. UPDATE: This is an update to my October review. Matt and his subcontractors did an amazing job on my moms quad in a retirement community. The work is beautiful and they could not have been easier to work with. They had a lot of great ideas and added their own touch to the job. In many instances, their suggestions were much better than our original idea and also saved money. They refined our wishes for the construction and the final outcome is better than we ever hoped for. We are definitely using them again and have asked for a quote to redo 2 bathrooms and finish a room over a garage in our home. I give MO 2 my highest recommendation.

This is the second bathroom remodel that Matt has done for me and I couldn't be more pleased. He shows up when he says he will, starts on time and completes the job on schedule. Phone calls are returned promptly. The workmanship is impeccable and Matt has an eye for detail. They clean up at the end of each day and I didn't hesitate to let them work in the house while I was out. I highly recommend MO2 Renovations.

Our gut after the meeting was not good. He seemed negative from the start and implied that we we wanted to do was going to be too difficult. Nevertheless, we sent him plans and style cabinets we wanted. We never heard back from him. Not good. He should have just been honest and told us he couldnt handle the job. We have since had another Contractor come out and his response was "no problem".

When we were deciding on a contractor for our kitchen, powder room and laundry renovation, we narrowed it down to three, then met with each one. They all had good qualities but we chose Matt for his easy-going yet professional manner. He was open to any and all suggestions we made and made many of his own. He was easy to work with and his employees were just as pleasant and hard-working as he was. We hit a few minor problems during our reno but Matt was willing and eager to solve each one to our satisfaction. He and his crew were reliable and punctual and our work was completed in a timely manner. We had more done than we originally planned because as we saw the quality of the work, we wanted to add to the project. . We are absolutely delighted with what we had done and are hoping to be able to continue the renovation of our home with Matt as our contractor.

Called this company for an estimate and was told they would come either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday night last week and that they would call before coming. They never called and they never showed up. BEWARE!

Matt did an excellent job from beginning to end I.e.,he finished the job in OCtober and I keep calling him to do one more thing since my husband and I are still living in SC preparing to move back to NJ. He answers all my calls n emails. He also has great suggestions such as installing a pocket door for our bathroom to save space. As far as we are concerned Matt Onifer is a true professional and trustworthy!

The work is not finished yet but he is doing very good work so far and I have no complaints. I will write a full review after the renovations are finished.

The overall experience was excellent!!! We are happy with the work that Matt and his men did, they are professionals and very courteous. Matt is very responsive when I first call for the estimation. The estimation is the same as the actual price. Beside, Matt is very honest of what he is about to do and what we will expect of the outcome. At first, we were just want to repaint, replace the carpet, and install the exhaust fans for the bathroom and install the range hood for the kitchen. After seeing what great work Matt and his men can do, we decided to hired Matt to install the new granite for our kitchen. Matt even call people to cut the lawn for us since, we haven't move in yet and the grass is getting higher; that is a very nice gesture of him which we did not expected at all. We will definitely hire Matt and his men again to work on our future projects for the house.

MO2 Renovations was a pleasure to deal with and did a wonderful job. Matthew and his employees were highly professional and did an amazing job. Additionally, they were very punctual. They did such a great job designing, and installing my chair rail and crown molding that I hired them to remodel my bathroom that came out better than I could have imagined. Matthew and his team were creative and worked hard to get me the desired result within my budget. I usually do not take the time to write recommendations, but MO2 did such an amazing job that I thought that they deserved a recommendation.

Matt showed up on the start date on time. He and his staff protected the flooring and hung dust plastic barriers and removed all the old material for new drywall, ceiling beams; and removal of old carpets. The work progressed smoothly and without incident. The end result was exactly what we had asked for with some better-than-expected outcomes for trimming. We also replaced the heater covers rather than work on the old ones which Matt helped with the pricing doing the labor for minimal expense. Overall the project came in on time with excellent reults and in the estimated budget.

Work was started and completed on time and within the budget. Workers were always prompt and professional. They worked every weekday and one Saturday until it was completed. Matt found an unexpected problem with windows in one room and repaired them without extra cost. Everything was completed with outstanding results. All drywall, trimming and flooring was spotless. Very nice results. It is so nice now to go into those rooms without saying "one of these days, I'm going to fix these..."

Matt showed up to provide an estimate and started the job in less than 2 weeksin order to accomodate my vacation schedule. This meant starting on a Saturday morning and working through the weekend and following week. Matt and his crew were professional, punctual, and always considerate. Their work is beautiful and they are careful about keeping the area clean. I had some unexpected plumbing issues come while they were remodeling and I was lucky they were there. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend.

Very satisfied with work completed so far. We are serious considering several other projects with this Company.

The work done by Matt (and his guys) was very good. They were professional, neat and always showed up when they said they would and on time. We had Matt remodel a bathroom and were pleased with his work, so we had him do our second bathroom. In both, he completely gutted the room and tiled the floors and bathtub areas. In one bath he also tiled the walls. In the other bath, he had an idea of installing wainscoating on the walls and ceiling. It came out looking beautiful. We were so pleased with the work that we had him do the complete remodel of our kitchen/family room. Again, they gutted the rooms (in one day) and worked with our kitchen designer to come up with a great new layout. Matt comes up with good suggestions, but always leaves the final decision to you. They sheetrocked all the walls and ceilings and when the cabinets were delivered went right to work installing them. They installed new flooring,lighting,fixtures and appliances.They work hard and and keep the work area clean. I got the feeling Matt's work is the way he would do it in his own house. He wants it to turn out the way you want, but also to his satisfaction.
