The house is around 4000 sq feet, from experience with other powerwashers the job should take at least 4 hours. John and his father met my wife and I at the house around 5:30pm on May 15th. After taking them around the house, I specified again for them to concentrate on the windows and window frames, John assured us it will be done. He was also asked f there was enough daylight left to do the job properly since it usually takes 3-4 hours; once again, he assured us that it will be fine, stating that he has been doing this since he was fourteen years old. At around 6pm he started the job. At 8:12pm we received a text message, stating that the job was done. By that time it was starting to get dark and I?m assuming he figured we would not see areas that he missed. When we arrived to the house at 8:20, he already put his equipment away. Upon inspection of the house in the area where flood lights are on we noticed several areas that were missed, when pointed out and told to come back another day, John with an attitude in his voice said that he was not coming back and will do that right now, which he proceeded to do. Further inspecting the side of the house which was lit up with flood lights several other areas were pointed out to him. At that point his attitude became even worse and decided to powerwash the painted wooden boards that surround garage over and over again, causing the paint to chip. Once that was done, we told him that it was enough, since it was around 9pm at that point and it would be pointless to inspect the house any further due to the lack of light. He was paid the agreed amount and mentioned that if any other areas were missed he would come back to clean them, because customer service is very important to him. told him, ?John I will keep you to your word?, at that point he just laughed it off. The house was inspected the next day and the inspection revealed that soffits were cleaned halfway, inside of the windows were not even touched, the grass in the front yard was damaged to a point where they had to use the sod that I had on the side of the house to patch up the holes they have created. John was contacted and told of this, he texted back and basically said to use warm water to clean windows and that his insurance does not cover damage to the grass. His response showed that customer service is not priority, but doing a poor job and taking money is.
