"This is a completely false review. My company was contacted by a local duct/vent cleaning company, and asked me to assist in diagnosing this person's dryer after their company cleaned her dryer vent. After the other company finished cleaning this customer's dryer vent, the dryer would no longer start. I went to this person's home and took apart the dryer to assess the problem. I found that the blower wheel was broken. In trying to remove the broken blower wheel from the motor (they're attached) I needed to loosen the connection using my torch. At no time was any damage done to her dryer by me. When I arrived at her home, this dryer already had a broken blower wheel. After determining the needed parts and costs, this customer declined to have her dryer repaired. She paid my usual service charge (which was greatly discounted by me, even after spending well over an hour disassembling her dryer.) Two weeks later, this customer had a man call my company, and my wife answered. This man demanded a refund of the service charge they paid my company--he stated "We had to buy a new dryer." My wife ended the conversation with this man due to his extremely angry nature. My wife then called the dryer vent company who created the dryer issue to begin with. My wife was told that indeed THEY purchased a new dryer for Mrs. [Member Name Removed], and they also mailed out a check to cover the cost of my service charge. When my wife called this customer to tell her that I would call as soon as I got back in the office, and that they would be receiving a refund of our service charge, she went on an angry tirade, threatening to "ruin" my business. This woman has been leaving the same angry review on numerous sites across the internet. She should be aware that what she is doing easily falls into the category of illegal slander and defamation. My company will be contacting an attorney regarding these false, malicious reviews."
