I ordered the range over the phone and the salesperson was very helpful. However, I was not given a delivery window until the morning of the date of delivery-- not very convenient. It was a four hour window-- and my delivery was 2 1/2 hours late past that window. After waiting around all day, when the range finally arrived it was filthy dirty, and the delivery people did not even bother to clean it up. One of the delivery people's hands were also filthy-- which he used to move my brand new, light blue sofa out of the way. It was an accident, and he was very apologetic, but he left a black mark that I haven't been able to get out and may require professional cleaning. In addition, the delivery people had backed their very large truck into my side yard (stone) to get closer to my back stairs to bring up the range- which I was fine with. However, when they left, rather than pulling straight out of my yard the way they came in, they turned left and drove through my neighbor's front yard, leaving huge tire tread marks through his yard! Why they would driven through my neighbor's yard is totally beyond me! This I found TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I have called Dave's appliances three times to date, asking to speak to the owner. Apparently he his too important to bother to speak to me himself, so basically I was only able to give a "statement" to the salesperson/office worker? who I was able to speak to. I told her about my couch, and I did ask if they would send someone to take care of my neighbor's yard. She was going to speak to the owner and get back to me. She never did, and did not bother to return my subsequent phone call to her. No one has shown up to take care of the neighbor's yard either. I thought I was doing a good thing, using a local business rather than a retail giant to purchase my range. I will go back to using Lowe's/Best Buy/Home Depot in the future. I have recently used Best Buy and Lowe's for delivery of other items, and had a great experience with them. I will never use or recommend Dave's appliances to anyone. They blew it!
