Everything was great. He was on-time, and communicatiove. The railing that he built matched the other side perfectly.

My deck had water damage on the face and at the bottom of a post that had rotted out on the lower level of our two story deck. The most substantial part of the repair itself to that particular area turned out ok. But that’s where my praise stops. He had a nice portfolio of pictures on Facebook. I didn’t call references. My error. I had to replace my deck rails after this business used a sawzall to cut them off to do repairs. The rails were screwed in and in good enough shape to unscrew and re-use. But no, he cut through them and ruined them. He attempted to screw them back in place and close the gaps, and in doing so broke off several screws. This was particularly irritating when I began my repairs to his shoddy work yesterday. I decided to install cable rails this week and had to make a number of modifications to prep. While doing the prep work, I discovered a rotted post. I took apart the face of the deck, which overlapped where he had made repairs. It seems he noticed more rot, and then decided to put it back together anyhow. There’s no way this could not have been noticed. He “sistered” one of the rotted floor joists with a piece of board about a foot long - instead of the typical 1/3 of the length of the original board required for proper sistering. My experience earlier this year: He did not have a contract, but I took him as a man of his word and trusted he would do right by me. He showed up without a ladder and needed to use a box of screws I had because he didn’t bring enough. He crushed in part of the metal deck ceiling, dislodged a retaining wall stone while using it as a saw horse, and dented in a copper post cap. He reassembled the facade beneath the deck in a manner that gave it the appearance of a dilapidated monster house. He then told me construction people do not reuse anything, and I should have anticipated having to replace it all, including the railing - which was screwed on cockeyed. Then, he left all the rotten wood, concrete and other trash laying in my yard and told me that was the homeowner’s responsibility to take care of. I’ve never experienced anything like this. My bad for not forcing a clear contract. I pause a little over $2000. For his work and I had to pay for all the wood at the home improvement/lumber stores. After some heated conversations, he ended up taking the trash. I delayed in writing a review because I felt like I failed to make him produce a contract and didn’t watch over him like a mother hen. I am very capable of doing most of my own work but was not comfortable with replacing a structural two story post. After discovering his shoddy, irresponsible work this week, I decided it was time to write a review. I cannot recommend this company for anything. Honestly, I wish this mother, grandmother, and great grandmother had just completed the job herself. I wasted my money, and this repair was not cheap. At least I know now the remains repairs are being done correctly. Wish I could post pictures here.

He knows what he is doing and I really felt that he was looking after my best interest. He did an absolutely superb job.

TM was great! He was efficient and hard working. He asked questions when it came to design or anything that came up during the project. Walked us through what he was seeing and gave us recommendations based on our overall goal of stabilizing the deck.

Tomas is a miracle worker. We moved into a new house and the deck hadn't been maintained. It was dry and splintery and some of the grain was separating so there were dangerous shards sticking up. Many of the boards had become concave so they would hold water after rain. When Tomas came to give an estimate, he said he could flip the boards over. Brilliant — I had never heard of that before. So he spent a day unscrewing every board and flipping them over, making some modifications on the ends where it went around railing posts. He did a careful and thorough job washing, sanding, and staining. It now looks like we have a completely new deck! Amazing! (And pretty cheap given the cost of wood these days.) Tomas is an incredibly hard worker. (In fact I had another guy doing work on my house who commented, “Wow, he's a really good worker.") I've had other guys come out and do other decks of mine before, and they would just do a perfunctory cleaning and slop on the stain. Tomas genuinely cares about how good the deck looks. Every detail is meticulously attended to. And — the work was reasonably priced. So glad we found him.

Trying to do a large Renovation of a mountain house in Waynesville when we live in Florida isn't a easy task unless you have the right people helping - From the first call and through the first project and on to the second and third, Tomas was very easy to work with and reliable - Came when he said he would - called when he had questions - shared pictures along the way - made helpful suggestions - and all affordable even for the "mountain prices" ! When I thought I needed gutters cleaned - he looked - sent a pic and when I said lets do it - it was done that day. My wife is looking for the next project she can hire him for - Would highly recommend

Tomas from TM Projects WNC did a great job all-around on an assortment of badly needed fixes. These included installing flashing around a leaky chimney (leaking stopped), installation of a new ceiling fan (ruined by leak), removal of an old and very heavy window AC unit that was no longer needed, and a complete rehab of a deck that needed some replacement of joists and planks and a thorough pressure-washing and staining. All of this was done with courtesy, professionalism and very fair pricing. Tomas works very hard, is thorough and meticulous in his work, and everything went smoothly. He seems to have expertise in almost every category of home repair and construction. He is timely, responsive, and follows-through on all aspects of communication and timing. I hope to hire him again for the next couple of projects. Highly recommended.

Excellent. From the first appointment to get an estimate to completion of finishing the cabinets, Tomas arrived when he said. Throughout the project he kept me informed of his plans and what the next steps were. Very professional and the quality of workmanship was excellent.

He did a very good job and was accommodating with my scheduling needs. Tomas was very pleasant and I am so glad I hired him for the job.

Excellent responsiveness. Completed cleaning of my gutters on the same day I called. I was not home during his work, but Tomas texted me when he arrived, and then sent me before and after photos. Great service.

What an improvement! Before it looked like a horrible mess and ruined the look of the house from the front. They did a beautiful job. Now it's very attractive and clean and blends in with the sidewalk and the house. They were polite and punctual. Definitely would call them for my next home improvement project.

Amazingly, Tomas shoehorned me into his schedule the same day that I spoke with him. He was polite, friendly, speedy, and he took the time to clean up debris that he blew off the roof. I would definitely recommend him!

Wonderful! Tomas and Jose are VERY hard workers, very reliable, very thorough, very reasonable priced, and know their stuff! We had looked at the reviews on Angies List as well as from a neighbor., all excellent, and well deserved. We started out getting a quote both decks and pressure washing the house. Tomas responded quickly. We gave him the go ahead but not to start for several weeks, since my husband wanted to do some deck repairs himself, first and we also let him know that after that our timing was flexible, since we are both retired. He checked in with us several times to see how the progress was going on our side, which took us longer than expected, and once we had the repairs done, he and his team came out very promptly to do the pressure washing, fitting it in between other jobs. They did an excellent job both on the house and on prepping the deck. A week or so later they came out to stain the deck and, again did an excellent, and very thorough job. A freak rain cam up after they had just finished the second coat, they covered the deck, but came out 2 days later, once it was clear again, to check on it, and then did a third coat with due to the rain, but stuck to the original quote. After seeing what a great job they did, we asked for an estimate on painting the shed, a swing, and the door trim on the house. Again, a very reasonable price and an excellent job. Note that the best way to contact Tomas is via text message to his cell phone. We would use them again for any project around the house, they are very versatile. And, as I found out too late - we had hired someone else - they also do roofing.

Overall great job. Called to have the gutters cleaned.. they were covered with a fine mesh gutter guard. They removed the guards and saw (a) the screen mesh was clogged and (b) the gutters were clean. Had them replace the gutter guards. Did such a good honest job that I hired them to return and pressure wash the mildew and algae from the roofing. Came out looking very good and water is again flowing through the gutters. Highly recommend.

Tomas was prompt on both the estimate and scheduling. Answered all our questions as to price, procedure, cleaning solution. We have a trex deck and special care was needed. Works was complete in a day and the area was left better than he found it! Tomas was great and I would recommend him
