Jeff's Drywall and Painting

Jeff's crew was very helpful and professional. If they ever had a question, they would ask before proceeding. They were non-intrusive and prompt. They even came out to walk through to ensure we were satisfied with all their work. We highly recommend Jeff and his team. I couldn't be happier with Jeff and his crews' work. I initially used Jeff alone to patch up the holes in my ceilings and wall, and he did such a great job, I decided to use his services for popcorn ceiling removal and painting. The quality of the work is amazing. My place looks immaculate, like it hasn't endured shabby drywall patching, wall dings, and poor paint jobs over the years, and without the popcorn ceiling, like my condo wasn't built in the 1980's. Jeff and his crew worked overtime to meet my schedule, and put in the extra effort to make sure their work wasn't just passable, but exceeded expectations. I was hesitant to purchase a condo that needed "upgrades," but it's professionals like Jeff and his crew that keeps my faith in humanity: to find contractors that want my home come back to life just as I had imagined (if not even better!). I have to say that it's not just me that is impressed by the job. My condo neighbors even checked my place out, and agree.

Arrived promptly and moved furniture, removed all doors, and prepped for painting. They helped in selection of color and end result is beautiful. They pay attention to small details like saving all nails, window dressing hardware, and picture hooks in case we want to reuse. They go above and beyond in cleaning and vacuuming afterwards. They finished ahead of schedule and put all the furniture back in place. This is the second time we used them and couldn't be happier. They are true professionals who are very knowledgable. We highly recommend.

Jeff and his team Erick and Mark arrived at my home promptly. They immediately started to move my furniture and cover it.. Jeff had purchased the paint after I had chosen the colors. Every step of the way they asked if I was happy with the color and the work they were doing. The team was courteous and professional. The clean up was amazing. They put back the furniture and even helped me put down a new area rug. I will be using jeff's drywall and painting again for the rest of the rooms in my home. I highly recommend this company.

Jeff did a great job for a fair price: - we were able to discuss the work and price by exchanging text messages and photos which saved time and didn't require coordinating a visit to my home - the ceiling repair was tricky as there were some hard to move items in the room. Jeff and his partner worked around those inconveniences and were able to produce very nice results. He pays special attention to getting edges straight and clean - the painting was done quickly and looks good - they cleaned up afterwards very well - they were friendly and described what they were doing ahead of time to ensure that I would be happy with the results

Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job. The removal of the popcorn ceilings dramatically updated our home. Jeff is a meticulous craftsman and takes tremendous pride in his work. His drywall skills are evident in the repairs he did throughout our home. We purchased this home in May this and had a difficult color to try and cover. He brought us samples to paint on the walls to see how it would look in different light and in different rooms. I have recommended Jeff to our family, friends and coworkers.

Jeff, Mark and Eric did an AWESOME job on our house! We just purchased a house and it was in serious need of a complete update. Jeff and the team were able to start immediately and knocked through every single thing on our list with precision. The other reviews on Angie's List are spot on -- the guys are extremely detail oriented, dedicated and will go over everything multiple times if needed to make sure it looks amazing. The project took about a week and a half and they did everything we asked for. Jeff is a master of mudding/drywall and Mark and Eric are masters of painting. If you include Jeff's daughter who stops by to help out too, they're the Fantastic Four. :) We had them paint the interior of the whole house -- every nook and cranny including all the rooms, hallways, walls, ceilings, doors and trim. Now everything pops like a brand new house! We decided to also redo the kitchen, so we had them paint the kitchen cabinets to match our new style and they came out BEAUTIFULLY! (And it was considerably less expensive than other providers.) In addition, they fixed lots of drywall issues, re-stained the deck, sprayed the garage and a bunch of other miscellaneous tasks. Obviously it was a ton of work and they knocked it out of the park. The house looks amazing now! We'll definitely be hiring Jeff and his crew again in the future. We highly recommend them! They provide excellent work at a good price. Thanks for making our house a home!

Jeff's work was fantastic. The attention to detail and desire to make it look perfect was appreciated and welcome. His workers are awesome as well. Mark is an incredible painter and a really great guy. Knows a lot about a lot of things and was very helpful to me. The work was superior and worth every dime. $11,000 may seem like a lot but to see the amount of work to be done, the pitch of the ceilings and the repairs made and the finished product it was worth every penny. Was he the cheapest....NO. Was he the BEST....YES. You get what you pay for. You want mediocre, then pay a lot less and you will be very unhappy down the road. His work was truly fantastic and it was like they were working on their own homes. They took great care with our property and cleaned up when they were done. If you get this job done, I highly recommend getting all new filters in the house and getting the duct work cleaned when they are done. We did and you won't believe what was cleaned. The popcorn removal is a very hard thing to do and very messy. I cannot say enough about the work. I would recommend using the best paint you can. May seem more expensive than needed but it is worth it in not having to do multiple coats and more expense. Jeff is a perfectionist, much to the dismay of his workers at times!!! But that is a good thing. He was always going back and mudding drywall spots he didn't like. Truly a great job and we highly recommend Jeff and this team!

Showed up promptly and worked efficiently. The crack was substantial and had been simply plastered over by another workman but cracks came back within weeks. Jeff grooved deep into wall, fastened drywall to 2x4s, then did some magical thing with plastering that bonds from inside out that he had learned from his dad and others. He obviously has a great deal of experience that is becoming a lost art. He and his coworker, Mark, then painted both rooms moving all the furniture about. Mark is more than a painter, he is an artist. They would not leave any blemishes behind and just paint over them. They sanded down all imperfections and Mark matched the trim color expertly. He paints like Rembrandt with quick efficient strokes and when done; everything is crisp, clean lines and trim. They even repaired a big dent in metal door to garage. I thought I would have to replace this metal door but Jeff also does body work on cars and pulled out the dent, sanded and painted so it looks like a new door. Mark even replaced insulation around this door at no charge. They cleaned up everything when done and wanted to hand wipe floor but I said no, I use a steam cleaner on kitchen floor. They did wipe down dining room floor and put all the furniture and draperies back in place. A very satisfying experience. We plan to use again for other work on our home.

It was fantastic! They absolutely went above and beyond. We were beginning to have an issue with mildew, and they made sure to use a paint that would prevent future problems in our garage. They were painstaking in preventing and correcting issues, even going so far as to fill cracks in the trim. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and really saved us a lot of worry later on. We would highly recommend Jeff and Mark to do any painting or drywalling that you need done. They truly went above and beyond in every aspect.

Jeff is such a professional and met my expectations. He is so detailed oriented, and takes pride in his craft. Communication throughout the project was great, and so he meet time guidelines easily. He and his team are very clean, so it made clean up easier than I thought. My house is back in order, and looks wonderful and modern.

Jeff came to my home and gave me an estimate the day after I first made contact. His original quote, though fair for the amount of work involved, was higher than I was prepared to pay at the time, so I texted Jeff that I would need to hold off on the project for now. A few days later, Jeff texted me that he had had a cancellation, and would be willing to give me a discounted price if I could let his crew start immediately. He needed to keep them busy until their next scheduled job. I agreed. What a stroke of luck! The first day, while I observed, they brought over their gear, moved my furniture, rugs and artwork into the garage, then set up scaffolding. (I have a 17 ft. High ceiling in the living room.) They began work in earnest the following day..Jeff and crew would arrive after I left for work in the morning, around 9:30, and would be cleaning up for the day by the time I arrived home at night, around 5:30pm. All in all this project took eight days They cleaned up daily, enough that I could use the kitchen to cook my supper, and sit in my living room (under the scaffolds) to watch TV at night. If you are thinking about having this done, keep in mind that popcorn ceiling removal is a messy job. My home's interior environment was pretty dismal while this project was going on. After removing the popcorn texture, an area of my ceiling revealed a previously badly patched repair in the Sheetrock. Jeff spent many hours fixing this, and now it can't be distinguished from any other parts of the ceiling. I wasn't asked to pay anything more, even though this added hours to the total job, and required extra materials. On the eighth day of this project, they finished their work, touched up my paint where needed, cleaned up thoroughly, and moved the rugs and furniture back in. I was home in time to help point out what went where. The ceilings are absolutely beautiful now, and this has improved the look of my home enormously. I am very glad that I decided to proceed with this project, and would recommend Jeff and his crew to anyone considering having drywall work, popcorn ceiling removal or painting done in their home. Jeff and his team were skilled professionals, they were trustworthy, and they treated my home and possessions with care. These guys are great!

Very professional, personable, punctual and provided expert workmanship. Thoroughly enjoyed having these two gentleman in my home. They are by far the best in the business and we would not hesitate to have them return for our next project.

I hired Jeff to remove the popcorn ceilings and paint the house I recently purchased. We closed on Wednesday at 11 am and Jeff and his crew were there at 2 pm that same day setting up scaffolding. They worked very hard and kept long working hours to help me get all the work that I needed done prior to my move in. Jeff was very detail oriented and made sure all key questions were addressed as the work was being completed. The ceiling and paint job turned out fantastic! Jeff maintains high integrity, professionalism, and quality throughout the entire project work. I'm glad I entrusted my new home renovation with Jeff. We got exactly what we wanted and it was on time (actually 2 days early)! :)

Jeff came to my house within a day or so of my call to him to give me an estimate. He started the work within a short time, and it was completed within two days. The results were excellent and Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He and his co-worker worked into the evening to finish and cleaned up before leaving.

After the grueling and tedious task of removing wallpaper in our kitchen and powder room, the walls were a mess! We called Jeff to come and skim coat the walls and also fix a very noticeable crack in the ceiling of our dining room. Jeff has excellent communication skills and was prompt and reliable. He came the same day we called him to give us an estimate. He fit us into his schedule and had the work completed in less than a week's time. He was professional and did a great job. The walls and ceiling were like new. He covered all of our furniture prior to sanding and the dust was minimal due to his dustless sander.He even fixed a few imperfections on the dining room walls for no additional charge. We will definitely use his services in the future!

Jeff responded immediately to my inquiry and gave me a reasonable bid for drywall repair and painting. He was in our home within a couple of days of the bid, and completed the work in about a 3 day time frame. The work was completed professionally with a minimum of dust or mess, and we are very pleased! I am thrilled to find an excellent craftsman who was prompt, clean, reasonably priced and completed the work to my expectations.

You will see that I did not give Jeff A's across the board. Let me be crystal clear about why. I did find others that would have cost less to do the same "work". Not by a lot, just a little difference. That being said, there's ZERO probability that any of the other companies would have come through with the same level of quality. As I am about to put my house up for sale, the VALUE/COST proposition is an A+++++. Jeff did an amazing job. The dry wall in the master bedroom closet looked absolutely amazing. The front of the house looked brand spanking new and the fix made to the railing leading up to the house was incredible. I need to go into detail on how the railing looked. There was about a one inch gap that made it look like it was going to fall over. And the gap could not be corrected by knocking the post closer (due to the horrible job the home builder had cemented the post into the ground). Regardless, and without increasing the estimate even though Jeff had given me the estimate based on knocking the post closer to the railing), Jeff fixed the issue. Lastly, and this was probably equally impressive to everything that Jeff had worked on... The back of the house had LOTS of deck stain splattered onto the siding. I had tried to take it off earlier with no success. Jeff had found a way to make it look clean again.

Jeff is very personable, responsive to calls and shows up when he says he is going to show up. His pricing is fair and his work for himself and his help is craftsmen level. He finished the drywall on very long ceilings and it takes a microscope to find any flaw. His painting is well done and clean. He takes great pride in his trades and it shows. I have never recommended anyone before but the price/value ratio is so high, I felt the need to write one this time.

After hours of power washing on two separate half days, Jeff Williams sprayed and brushed a beautiful mid-color oil-based preservative stain onto the privacy fencing (see photos). The entire house is now very clean and bright and, best of all, it's a pleasure to sit on the back porch seeing the fencing that looks better than brand new. This is our third project by Mr. Williams; he is is always punctual and arrives with all of the equipment and supplies needed to complete the job.

Jeff was extremely responsive in returning my phone call. I was in a rush to have the wall repaired and he was able to work within my timeframe. Wall was completely repaired and you would never know that a large portion of the drywall had been removed. He also did some touch-up painting and spackling around the house. All work areas were kept clean and neat, and Jeff cleaned up after he was done working. I was extremely pleased with the work done and will gladly hire Jeff again in the future.

Initially we hired Jeff through Craigslist to help with drywall repair. We intended for someone else to paint the interior of our home. Because of his workmanship and work ethic we hired him paint our home and to do additional work as our project moved forward. After our experience with Jeff we felt of him as more like a friend. We trust him to give us an honest assessment at a fair price. As far as the quality of the work- everyone that has passed through the door has commented on the how good the place looks. The most common response is "Wow!". Jeff may not be the cheapest guy in town but the comfort in knowing you will get the job done right makes it worthwhile. Thanks!
