The rental process was relatively quick, the van was clean and performed fine. The return process also went well. Paying for mileage hurts a bit, but I'm not aware of a truck rental company that doesn't charge mileage.

Price was easy to figure out, and accurate based on the info I provided (I underestimated miles), and cheap (as long as I refused the extra insurance, as both my credit card and my insurance company said I was covered). The truck had 196k miles on it, shuddered on every gear change, extremely (dangerously) loose steering, especially when going over the top of a hill, the gas indication could change from 1/4 to 3/4 based on which way you were facing on a hill, and was missing some essential features with that big of a truck (a backup camera would be nice). On the other hand, the price was excellent, and the people were super nice and efficient. I would recommend this location to a friend, with the caveat that they need to make sure not to drive this extremely high mileage truck until some basic and long overdue service is completed.

I use rental companies a couple of times per year, and this is the best U-Haul facility I have ever worked with. On our last rental January 2, Ken met me at the front gate, got me fixed up and out the gate in no time. Then, when we discovered the trailer was too small for our needs, he quickly fixed me up with a larger one and took care of all the paperwork. Finally, I brought the trailer back after they were closed, but the night manager let me in, helped me get the trailer returned, and also cleared the paperwork. I will definitely work with them again, and recommend this location to anyone.
