1. He installed the decorative pole by cutting wrong end and hence hand rail became crooked. Also he nailed on the top supporting wood but not at the bottom. 2. He did not shave the bathroom door at all. It is not closing. 3. He did install the shelf in the room properly. He does not respond in spite of calling several time. I need Angie's list company to call him and ask him to fix the work since I have make the payment to you

The guys arrived on time, and were able to provide an estimate and perform the job the same day. They did a great job. The office staff was also very courteous.

Arrived early and did the whole procedure in pouring rain. Very professional. Gave good advive on some gutter issues for future.

THC appeared at our home exactly on time. When they saw the extent of the wood rot to our deck, they advised replacing all of the deck. They were correct in doing so, and they even completed all of the work on that day. First, they discussed with my husband and I some options for new boards and explained the procedure they would use to accomplish the work. There was communication with their home office regarding pricing. Given the work, we believe it was a fair price, $1100. We opted to keep everything looking the same as previous, and we are very satisfied with the results. The 2 gentlemen worked all day, were very professional, courteous. They added more reinforcement to the railing at the edge of the deck overlooking the back yard (which is 2 stories high) without being asked to, and it is very appreciated. Part of the deck, which is 2 levels, also included 2 stairs roughly 8 - 9 feet long, and those were also replaced with excellent results. We are very pleased with the work THC performed on our deck.

We knew facia board and possibly some roof damage. There was a board on the garage that needed to be replaced as well. Extra jobs were requested due to the review they preformed requiring more extensive repairs. They were able to accommodate with the extra time needed to complete job. Will use them again and recommend this company to friends and relatives.

It went very well. They were on time, did exactly what we discussed and it didn't cost a dime more.

He removed the old, rotten deck woods and replaced with new ones.

Greg was friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile. The siding on my house required a trip across town and Greg was willing and able to do everything he needed to complete the job on the same day.

The banister installation left nails sticking up out of the top of the hand rail near the wall as well as by the newel post. We will need to cover it with something now to prevent children (or adults) from being injured. This was shoddy craftsmanship. Moving the small bottom cabinet beside the refrigerator over was successful and we are now able to open the double doors on our new refrigerator all the way. Moving the top cabinet was satisfactory, however, an approximately 18 inch long and approximately 5-6 inch wide piece of wood was required to fill the gap. The carpenter charged us an additional $20 for this small piece of wood.. Meanwhile I had gone to Lowes for crown molding replacement while they were there and could have easily purchased this piece of wood on my own for less had I known that he was going to charge so much for the piece that he already had in his truck... We usually tip for these sorts of services, but we chose not to due to the cost of the small piece of wood. The pot rack installation was done well.

They showed up on time and proceeded to do the work. The job was done but I never was called to be able to check the work before they left. If I was called I don't remember because had I checked the job, I would have asked them to improve the work. The job was fair, but some more work will need to be done to improve the repair.

I purchased a special of 6 hours remodeling or carpentry for $199. Because of this experience I don't know if I would ever purchase a special again. I don't like the idea of paying for a service that hasn't been provided, and this is why. I never heard from the office about scheduling until I reached out to them. The receptionist was very quick and lacked customer service. I found out that the special I purchased would require a trip to a home improvement store which was not going to be convenient at all, considering I was hiring this company to do work on a nursery for my three month old that I couldn't finish due to lack of time. She told me that they would get the supplies if I couldn't but that it would take away from the time they would be working. I expected to schedule a consult visit but was informed that wasn't how the special worked. Once the day came for them to do work, the owner arrived on time, but the second worker didn't show up until 1/2 hr later. When I told the owner I needed them to get the supplies, I was given an annoyed response that they would have to go back out into the heavy traffic. I ended up finding a small bucket of mud that I had left over for them to use. After taping up the doorway with plastic (that I was told normally would be an extra fee), the guys got to work sanding. About 20 minutes later I discovered that they were standing outside taking a break. Eventually the owner got back to work and finished mudding the ceiling. Then he asked me what else I had to do and everything I mentioned either he said wouldn't be a good idea or would take more time and more money. They left 20 minutes early because there was "nothing" to do. It was a waste of my time and money to hire this company.

Greg Starkes and Triangle Home Care Construction are (without a doubt) the best home repair and general contracting service I've ever worked with (and I'm 63 years old...). They show up on time - they fix everything - in my case they actually fixed a few things that were not on the statement of work (because they saw them - and just decided it was worth doing). Bottom line? Stop wasting time shopping around and hire these guys.

One worker arrived about 15 minutes late, the other later (I had left 30 minutes after scheduled start in order to get materials), but otherwise they were polite and efficient, did the requested work, and cleaned up nicely after. A very good experience. They also make good recommendations for other issues.

I purchased a deal to have fascia boards replaced. They were prompt, courteous & efficient. They went out of their way to make sure the job was done accurately. I feel I definitely got a good deal and don't have to worry about the work that was done. I would hire them again.

Because my wood rot was more substantial, they rolled the $149 into the total cost of a major repair. I really appreciate the work that they did, and it certainly was done to a very high quality. It was hard to reach the company at first, with regular emails and calls to the office manager, which frequently didn't get returned...or she would believe that she had returned. Once we got it on the schedule, they showed up (even post snowstorm) and did the work quickly and effectively. My only area of concern had been the administrative bit to get the work on the calendar. Other than that - spot on!

Greg and his team did an excellent job! He is very creative to meet my requirement while keep the budget low. His price is very reasonable. I will definitely use him for my next projects. Highly recommend!!

The job was done exactly as I had anticipated. The only thing that caught me off guard was having to buy materials. I though the deal I purchased was all inclusive for the 2 guys at 3 hours each. They did great work but it would have been nice to know the real cost of the deal before I pulled the trigger.

The price was fair and they did good work. Most of the price was for materials.

As with most Angie's lists providers, there were add on costs. The $149 was basically for them coming out. We had to pay $100 more just because they had to take the "big ladder" off their truck since our roof is so high which seemed odd. $100 for them to secure whatever they secured around the fireplace and $80 in materials so for this provider we paid $429. The gutter replacement will be $225.

Great job. They were quick, helpful and neat. Very happy with the results.
