Description of Work: They never talked to me personally, so that we could agree on the date/time of arrival, etc. After I reported this to you, I received a call from a woman at their office who became irate in her explanation. She said they came and no one was home. Well, isn't this interesting. Not a call before to connect w/me for a confirmation of date/time of service. You have to be kidding! Description of Work: Greg Starkes and his colleagues worked a series of projects for us that began with replacing the eaves on one side of the house and expanded to include rebuilding the chimney chase and removing an old fireplace and replacing the entire roof. The cost of the eave work seemed a little high, but we were in urgent need of repairs and didn't negotiate as aggressively as we could have. The rest of the work was done as promptly as work on other jobs allowed, was of very high quality and was reasonably priced. I got on with Greg very well, although he and my wife rubbed each other the wrong way; this is the only reason I give them a B on professionalism.

Description of Work: Greg replaced two rotting thresholds and a rotten door. I was very pleased with his work and probably will use him again.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for four hours of wood rot restoration and repair. Work was performed well and professionally. He showed up when he said and did a good job.

Description of Work: Long delays to get schedule appointments for work; my wife & I both had difficulty communicating with him about the work needed. Eventually we both felt sufficiently uncomfortable dealing with "Greg" that we wrote off the $249 pre-payent and are getting it done elsewhere.

Description of Work: We had materials available for contractor to replace window trim around several windows. We were hoping that 2 guys in a couple hours each could have knocked out a couple more windows. Better precision (on the cuts) and speed would have been required for A rating.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced rotten wood on four outside columns. Greg came promptly and began work immediately. I was pleased with his work initially. I told him I would paint the columns myself. It was raining the next day and the caulking his workers used had deteriorated. I called asking for them to come back and replace the caulk. I even sent photos. He never returned my call. Since that time I have recalled and painted the columns myself. The columns now look new.

Description of Work: Everything went great! Greg arrived to see what needed to be done and then sent one of his guys out at an agreed upon time to complete the work. Could not have gone more smoothly.
