Greg showed me the problems with the door and why a replacement would be the only option. I appreciated his straightforward explanation. They did temporarily patch some of the damage with new materials which may or many not be usable when I am able to find the proper replacement door (still considering my options). There was some caulk left on the walk they overlooked; otherwise the work was fine.

He has done work for me three or four times over a ten year period. Greg Starkes is very honest, easy to deal with, and cooperative. He does most of the work himself with some help from assistants that he hires. He has people who do a very good job with electrical and plumbing. This job was completed in about a week to a week and a half. They cleaned up well after finishing the job. Everything worked out very well.

I had no troubles scheduling an appointment. The job that I had him come to look at would need more work than expected. I would need additional siding and exterior doors replaces as well. I have not yet had him do any work for me yet.

It went as would be expected.

The quality and craftsmanship of the project is unacceptable. The new floor tile and shower time have inconsistent grout color and grout width. The floor is not even and has a bounce when walked on. The woodwork installation for the wainscoting is poor and the seems are visible. The threshhold form the tile to carpet is not done correctly.The drywall installed in lumpy and neeeded a lot of skimming to make it acceptable. The carpet in the master was damaged by the the workers and needs to replaced.

Greg was EXCELLENT. ?He and his helper were prompt, professional, and got the job done with good advice about future issues. ?I would definitely call Greg again. ?Very honest and does great work.

It turned out ok. The overall workmanship didn't seem completely up to par. I felt the workers could have done a better job. Additionally, I requested an itemized receipt, which they did send as an attachment in an email. I was unable to open the attachment and requested that they send it in the body of the email, and I have not heard back from them yet.

I purchased the deal for bathroom tile installation. Greg told me beforehand exactly what I would need to purchase prior. They were great to work with. Scheduling was easy and they arrived both days a little early. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I canceled this "deal", but the man showed up anyway, so I decided to have him do the work. He then gave me a higher price than I originally paid for the 4 hr. deal which understandably were for replacement parts however he charged another $470 in addition to the price I already paid for the 4 hr. $149.00 deal. He had two men with him who were primarily "gofers". When I questioned the two additional men he stated he had to pay them $80.00. He put PVC around 3 dormer windows and fixed a center strip between two windows, also using PVC. He was at my home exactly 3 hours. From 8-11am. I went upstairs to look at the 3 dormer windows that he was working on, and there were very large nails sticking through the wood beneath my windows. When advised of the nails he quickly came from his truck with a caulking gun and attempted to cover them up, unsuccessfully. He left a big mess in my house where he drilled. Very confused about the other reviews. He left my home without even giving me a receipt of work and supplies.

This company was completely unprofessional, we played phone tag from June 16th through almost the end of June, till I figured out what they were doing. I would call and leave a message during normal business hours and would never get anyone answering the phone during these times, but they would return the phone call at 4:00 or 4:30 pm and leave a message. This went on for a while till I called and left a message as well as an email message stating that hospitals and police departments can answer their phones during normal business hours and I found it odd that they could not. That's when the receptionist sent a scathing email and I responded back, that if that was to be her attitude, I hope she did not speak for the owner and reassured her they would not be in business long if that's how they conduct business. Then she stated they would refund my money.

Greg arrived early and did a terrific job quickly fixing the wood rot on my house. The finished product fits in seamlessly with the existing wood trim.

Called up to set up the appointment and learned about multiple additional charges- toilet removal, baseboard removal, potential additional toilet flange/plumbing, etc. Decided to cancel the whole thing rather than risk running up a bigger bill than advertised.

They did a great job. There were multiple spots with rot on the exterior of the window. They cut out the old frame and installed the new frame in just under two hours. The only extra billing was the cost of the materials. They arrived on time, about 10 minutes before they were scheduled. I'm very pleased with their work.

Wonderful from start to finish.

The window to be replaced was on the upper floor of my home. I ordered the wrong type of window (new construction instead of replacement window), but Greg had the skills to use that window and I'm pleased with the results.

The job was a bit tricky given the location, but Greg and his assistant created a custom repair to prevent further damage. I was pleased with the individualized attention and will use his company again for future repairs.

My experience did not go very well. He seemed really rushed to get the job done under the 2 hour time frame. Scheduling was fairly easy, however.

The arrived on time, inspected what needed to be done and went to buy supplies. They returned promptly, got to work, and completed it within the specified time frame. Job done correctly, at the right price, and in the time allotted gets an A from me every time.

He was good about getting up with us, outlining supplies that would be needed. He had several contractors who helped him. All were courteous. He was willing to adapt to our wishes as to which products would be used. He was careful to explain the process and timing of the various tasks. They cleaned up their tools and supplies each day before leaving the site. I do wish I had laid down a drop cloth to make it easier to avoid stains and spills on carpet.

They were on time. He did a good job. They responded quite well to my questions and requests.

Greg and his team were prompt in arriving first thing in the morning. He walked around the house with me to validate where work should be done. He did not try to 'up sell' additional work, but was realistic in what he could accomplish within the 3 hour window of the Angies deal. When completed, he made sure the crew cleaned the premises, and left with me the remaining wood and supplies that he had purchased on my behalf earlier in the day. I would use his services again.

Greg and his assistant showed up promptly at the appointment time. We discussed the work and Greg and his assistant got started. I agreed to pickup any necessary materials while they stayed and performed the identified work items. Greg reviewed the section showing wood rot an explained the conditions contributing to the damage. He even showed me a close up picture showing the details. We discussed options and agreed on doing a specific set of repairs given that the roof is going to be replaced next year. It made sense to perform the permanent solution at that time of which he gave me a preliminary estimate of the total cost for a new roof, gutters and necessary repairs. The work was done at a somewhat challenging location die to the height and slope of my lot. They were able to work under the conditions with ease. The job site was left very clean;as if they were never there. I feel that it was a very good purchase and am please with the results. On another note, we called Greg over two years ago when we thought we had a shower leak. He examined the shower floor and recommended a DIY repair. Based on my skillset he thought I could handle it. It was alot of work, but it came out just as he expected; saving me thousands based on other estimates received. At the time he indicated that the cost of the DIY job materials would be minimal. In the event it did not work I would have just lost a small amount of money in materials and the time investment. I am glad he was able to give me such advice when others did not.

The service was fine. He did what I paid for, and he said that my shower was leaking, and I should get somebody to fix that, which I thought was a good call.
