Ed responded to my phone call saying he would be at my home within one hour. He did exactly that.. The service was courteous and professional. I will certainly use him again if I need a locksmith.

It went very well. The person came out less than an hour of calling, so very responsive, was punctual and very professional. I was quite busy with just moving in. He went to work on changing the locks right away. He found all the door locks without me having to show where they were. He found them all!

Ed, despite several other appointments, squeezed me in within an hour of my phone call. The door was fixed in five minutes. Ed was cordial and professional and needless to say, very efficient. Terrific service.

Angies List shows service 7 days a week with emergency service. When I called them they said they were closed and would be back Monday. Leave a message.

The lock on the door connecting our garage to our house broke and the door was jammed shut. I called Raleigh Locksmith Service on Tuesday afternoon and the owner, Eddy, came out within 30 minutes. He knew just what the problem was and had brought the needed repair part with him. He got the door open, installed the replacement part and adjusted a second door that was not latching properly. This all took no more than 15 - 20 minutes. We were thankful to have this taken care of so quickly and effortlessly. I will definitely call Raleigh Locksmith Service again.

After a 9PM break-in which involved the kicking in of my deck door, dislodging the deadbolt, I called Ed the next morning at 8AM. He arrived within 30 minutes of my call and promptly replaced the deadbolt. Great response with professional and courteous service.

AMAZING! I was in dire straits and Raleigh Locksmith Service saved the day! I wasn't at the property (new house) but the locksmith was able to go and unlock my doors, he left the keys in a safe place and left the bill for me to pay..all before I even got to work! There was no inconvenience at all, simple as pie - he was awesome! Lightening response to my dilemma and all ended well. I hope I never need him again...but if so, he's on my speed dial!

He went the next day and did everything I asked. He called me when the services were complete. I paid over the phone and requested that he email me a receipt. He emailed it within the hour. I have been having bad experiences with service people in NC and I joined Angie's List to help alleviate this problem. I am happy to say that Raleigh Locksmith has made it worth my while.

Ed is great! We used him for the first time 4 years ago and were very impressed with his service, promptness, professionalism and prices. When we had another need for a locksmith arise, we called him right away. We called after hours on a Thursday. He asked how soon it needed to be done and since it wasn't an emergency, made an appt for early Monday morning. Her arrived early and set to work right away. I got the feeling he had worked us in as I told him sooner than later, but not an emergency. He quickly assessed and either fixed or lubed all five locks. We were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he performed the work and was gone. We would highly recommend Ed and we will use him every time a need arises for his expertise.

Raleigh Locksmith Service provided me with excellent service. I was very impressed with them. They were very fast and did a great job. There's nobody else I would call for locksmith services.

When I called, it was answered almost immediately. I asked about having some locks re-keyed and a new deadbolt installed, and was told I could be worked in immediately if I was available and at the property. Happy to get quick service, I agreed. About 15 minutes later, the van drove up. Ed asked for the current keys, I provided them, and he went to work. Within a few minutes, all of the locks to be re-keyed were taken apart and he was back in the van. A little while later, he put the locks back together and checked the locks and the new keys. He then installed the new deadbolt and checked it. Everything worked as expected, so he took my payment, wrote up my receipt, and was off. He was at my house for less than an hour. He was efficient and he did a good job (including following some specific instructions about the new keys).

Ed was fast and efficient. All work done in 30 minutes (4 doors). and, he took extra time to repair one lock that was not working correctly. He charged what he quoted, no fuss, no mess, great work.

Ed Walters installed two locks that I had purchased. I called late one afternoon and he arrived the next morning, somewhat ahead of the time he had indicated but he did call to ask, so no issue for us there. Ed provided additional value by recommending that we install one of the new locks on a different door, based on his experience and knowledge of where break ins occur. We accepted his advice and am happy we did so. I would add that, despite what I was told by the associate at Home Depot, the keys provided did not match the locks, so Ed adjusted the locks on both to match our existing set at no extra charge. His charge for installing the two was mid-range in terms of the quotes I received, although I would add that I received one very low bid that seemed unrealistic in light of the others. We were happy with his service and would call again.

The price was a bit higher than the original quoted by the father.

Ed came personally to my house both times we called, and he came within minutes of me calling both times. He was friendly, quick, professional, and while I found the price of a deadbolt to be a bit pricey, I have to say that having the service done right away when needed, more than compensated me. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

Since I never heard back from him I assume he wasn't interested in the job I needed done. I would not call this company for any locksmith issue I have in the future. Feb. 2014, Raleigh Locksmith contacted me and said that he might have found the blank for my key. I gave him the negative review as he did not keep me posted on the status of my request and after an extended period of time I assumed that he was no longer doing anything for me. My response to his comments about my initial review where I gave him an "F" is that if he had kept me in the loop of what he was doing and that he was CONTINUING to look for the blank to our key, I never would have given him that grade. He has been very polite and NO he did not charge me, (I fully expected to pay for his visit to my house) but at the same time he needs to make sure he lets people know the status of things if they are going to take that long. When he said he would get back with me I assumed he would give me an update and didn't give a negative review until quite a bit of time had passed. I had contacted him initially well before the holidays. So I feel that waiting until the end of January to write my review was quite generous. I want to say that he has been very nice and now that he has finally contacted me I am changing the grade of my review. Just asking that in the future you keep your customers in a situation like mine better informed of the status of things. I had no way of knowing that he was still looking for a blank for my key if he didn't call and tell me.

Ed, the owner is just wonderful. He is very personable. When he left we said, wow, he is great. We highly recommend him and will call him for any future lock issues.
