THINK VERY HARD BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY!!!! I filed a complaint against Precise Pest control in 2014 as I had termites and $2100 worth of damage which is documented on Angie's list. While they never agreed to cover any damage, they did agree to refund any money I spent with them and cancel the contract. THEY NEVER did refund the money and did terminate services. Today, 3 years later I have received a call that says they reported me to collections. Please think very carefully about using this fraudulent company.

Issues we have had. Technican has come and sprayed in the pouring rain, which I can't imagine is effective. Then he brushed the cob webs off all our windows, except they were wet and wiped dust around every window instead. A different service day for any issues, I showed the technician where there had been ants the previous week but were gone now. I suggested he put a little poison in a certain spot, he put no less than 15 spots all over my kitchen, all around clean dishes that were drying and baby bottles. I observed him drop two times, once on the counter near the baby bottles and once on the floor, when I mentioned this, he had no idea. Careless while putting poison down, not a good combination. Another time the technician no showed and when we rescheduled he called 3 hours earlier than his scheduled window and said he was 5 mins away. We said we couldn't accommodate and to come during our scheduled time, he said he had a doctors appt and could t come back any other time that day. 5 mins later we had a confirmation email that our home was serviced by the technician. When I have tried to cal their office several times, no one EVER answers. After refusing service to talk with a manager about these issues, I have not heard anything and our home has not been service. We have also already paid through the year, so the last two times our house should have been serviced, no one has done it and no one will call us back to discuss it.
Description of Work: It's not what they have done but more what they haven't. I have been trying to reach the company for months now and my calls are either not returned or returned outside of their business hours when I am not available, and as much as 8 hours after my call. I have left a message for the Manager to call me and have not heard anything. When the technican came in December, I refused service and told him that his company needs to call me and not to send service until someone does. I haven't heard anything.

Showed up and did not get out of his truck, took off about 10 seconds later. prior to that he was here for 5 minutes maybe pushing it to 10 minutes. Received an invoice a month later wanting the quarterly fee of $120 dollars. Called Precise and of course had to leave a message. They called back after discussing this issue which they did not say didn't happen however offered to come out an apply again. hmmmm isn't that part of the service anyway?

Description of Work: A guy came to my house and asked if he could do a pest detail on my house , I said no he then told me if I wanted to he would give me a ONE TIME charge of $200 which was 50% off. So I said ok, he then asked me to sign this paper for him, it would show his boss he had been working. Fast forward 30 day I get home from dropping off my son at college and there was a receipt from Precise saying it was their 30 day follow up. Looked at the paper work it said I has signed a 1 year contract at $200 a month . Had to call the company 3 times but finally got the company to rip up the bogus contract. They told me they were shocked because they never had a complaint like that before. I checked later that day on the BBB website and found out that some one else had complained about the exact same thing happening to them the same week. But after talking to the manager he said I would not be charged again. They also asked when I called if I wanted to pay for the work they had already done. I said NO I never asked for it. So they did not charge me any more after the manager called, but I did have to go through me credit card company to get my money back for the first unauthorized charge.

You were discounted down to a $75 initial and a $105 quarterly every three months per the agreement you signed originally. We decided to waive that agreement after those two treatments because you felt misled into signing the contract. The "Route Coordinator" visited my home 3 times today trying to sell services since the were "in the neighborhood". 1st visit did not answer, 2nd visit my wife took their card and said we would call if interested. 3rd visit I just had to tell them to go away and that we were absolutely not interested at which point he decided it was best to talk back and tell me to be respectful of him. Absolutely ridiculous way this company tries to get business. "Special" pricing written on the back of the card is not competitive

Description of Work: As others have stated a door to door salesman rang my bell despite the no soliciting sign I have on there. After saying I wasn't interested 5 times I left to come inside and the salesman FOLLOWED ME INTO MY GARAGE. I had to call the police because my wife felt uncomfortable. Don't do business with this company.

BUYER BEWARE!! Read the fine print and question the door to door salesperson. There is no 100% guarantee and they only reimburse what you pay them if you do have damage to your home. Within 1 year of service, we have termites. On June 29, 2013, we switched from out current service to Precise Pest control as a door to door sales team approached us with better, safer and guaranteed service. We signed up for 2 separate services with Precise, - termite and pest service. Precise charged us a setup fee, inspected the home area, installed termite monitors and performed quarterly inspections of the stations for the 1 year we have had their service. After a year, we have seen increase pests in the home and have decided to go back to our original pest service. In doing so, we have discovered that we have termite damage to our home. When I contacted Precise, they are stating that they do not guarantee termite service and offer this service as a comfort to home owners. They referred me to the fine print in my contract. It is important to note that this is not what we were told at sign up and in reading their website, it is also not stated anywhere...if anything all they say is 100% guarantee for everything. Furthermore, if this is a side service they offer, why do they charge a set-up fee and a quarterly inspection fee - what are they inspecting for?

You are correct that on 6/29/13 you switched to our company and signed up for our Pest Control Program and our Termite Detection Program. For your Termite Detection Program we charged a monitor install fee and a fee for monitoring services. The monitoring service charge covers us going out to your home and checking our monitors for termite activity. It does not cover termite inspections of your actual home. As stated on the agreement, "No inspection of the structure for the presence of visible evidence of subterranean termites was or will be performed by Precise Pest Control". This is a simple monitoring service that is put in place to help detect termite activity. We offer it to any customers who would like to have something in place to help detect termite activity versus not having anything at all. As our agreement states, "A credit equal to one year of this agreement's detection fees or the amount paid up to the time of detection not to exceed the value of a full year worth of detection services will be given to the homeowner to offset the cost of the Termite Service Agreement". Salesman from Precise Pest Control approached my home to sell pest control services. This normally wouldn't have become an issue but the salesman was extremely pushy and rude. He wouldn't take no for an answer and continued to state the services his company could provide even after I had firmly told him that I wasn't interested. This carried on for about five minutes and after the fourth or fifth time I had told him I had no interest in purchasing pest control services from his company and had repeatedly asked him for a business card if I changed my mind, the salesman finally got the picture and left my front porch. I would have actually considered calling if the salesman hadn't been so pushy and rude and would have left me a phone number to contact. It was very clear from the get go that the seller was only interested in making his sale and subsequent commission and was not at all concerned about building a good supplier-home owner relationship. I wouldn't go here nor recommend a friend, and will keep my business elsewhere.

The salesman approached my husband last week. We happened to be looking for someone new to take care of our normal pest control since we had problems getting responses from our old provider. My husband is a bargainer and was able to talk him into what he considered a fair price for the normal pest control as well as taking care of a termite problem that we thought was very small. When the technician initially came to treat the house and install termite monitoring stations we were out of town. When we returned, my husband was not happy with the placement of the stations, so the technician came out the next time we were home during business hours that week. He also came inside to spray the spot we had seen swarming termites. After further investigation, the technician was uncomfortable with spraying just that spot since it seemed that some minor damage had already been done. He talked to his supervisor over the phone and they both recommended that we called someone licensed in termite foundation work. That was definitely in our best interests since the termite company was able to show us multiple paths that the termites were taking to get into our walls. Thankfully, the problem is a new one so not much damage has been done. We are getting the full house treated and Precise agreed to take off the termite monitoring fee since we no longer need that with the whole house treatment. Precise was honest in their dealings with us which is very refreshing in today's market. Thank you Chris and the rest of the Precise team that worked with us!
Description of Work: House was sprayed for ants and poisonous spiders. Termite monitoring boxes were installed. Termite spot treatment was initially scheduled, but did not take place due to fear of further infestation.

Initially signed our contract for a house we were renting and the owners pest treatment company was terrible. We treated the place and specifically asked about contract transferability - they were more than happy to work with us and even gave us the initial, more thorough treatment again on our house that we purchased. Since then they have come out for the scheduled quarterly treatments and our contract just ran out so I called back to inquire about service options. They were very good - the price offered was competitive and they required no contract and have very flexible terms for treatments and options available. We have not had an issue on the house since we moved in and when we moved in the house was in need of a lot of general maintenance as it was a short sale. Precise has been very good about any follow up service and being available for treatments. We have retained their services and would recommend them - we don't and quot;needand quot; them but that's because their service works and the maintenance plan is worth keeping as they have very flexible terms.
Description of Work: Whole house and perimeter pest control - initial treatment and quarterly follow up service with a one year contract.

The technician arrived on time (called a few minutes before arriving within a pre-scheduled time). Tech is very polite and thorough, and treated the problem areas (basement and garage). Fee is competitive but the service is superior. Spider webs were removed from eaves, fixtures, and exterior windowsills.

They seem to do a good job and it cuts down on all the insects in the area.
Description of Work: I use Precise Pest Control to spray the exterior of my house for pests as well as remove cobwebs. They also sprayed inside my house on the first application but I have not needed them to do that anymore.
