It Sparkles It Shines It's Clean

Was overwhelmed by response to Angie's Deal, but once was able to schedule she and her crew did an outstanding job. Will use again.

I bought this special deal for my daughter and son-in-law as an anniversary present. The owner and my daughter had a bit of a hard time connecting by phone and setting a date that worked for them both. The company has a lot of regular customers and one time cleaning services have to be worked around that (understandably!) The cleaning took place this week and my daughter was very pleased with how clean the house is. It does indeed "sparkle and shine." All in all, a good experience.

My house looked better than it did when it was brand new. Renee is a fine businesswoman, a true professional, and a fine person. She has established high professional standards and sees that her team meets them. I have had services in the past, but given up on them. It Sparkles, It Shines, It's Clean cleaned my house like it was their house, and who could ask for more? If there were a rating higher than A, I would give it to this company

Purchased the service through Angie's Big Deal. Got a great price and if her business were closed would definitely hire them on a regular basis. Renee and her crew left me with a sparkly clean house! They were friendly, effiicient and even gave me some good organizational ideas!!! Highly recommend them!

After a stressful school year and completion of grad school, I knew my home was well overdue for a good scrubbing. Renee and her team did a fabulous job of doing just that! Renee explained how they cleaned the floors as well as other areas of the home. She also provided suggestions for future cleaning. Renee was extremely professional in communicating with me prior to the cleaning, during, and even called after she left to follow-up. As I write this review, I am enjoying the clean smell and feel of our home. I will definately use It Sparkles in the future.

The cleaning "brigade" showed up on time and started cleaning like a tornado. Every room was cleaned and dusted from top to bottom. They cleaned 3 bathrooms spotless. Dusted and mopped my hardwoods and vacuumed everywhere else. They did a great job.

The whole experience was pretty good. Renee knew I was on a tight schedule to get the new house clean before we moved into it. She was able to be flexible to work within the time frame I needed. She was very polite and personable, a nice lady. She and the crew did a fairly good job. Not as thorough as I would have liked. All cabinets and drawers were supposed to have been wiped out. Some were not. They did a good job on the window treatments and window sills. Later, I wanted her to also clean the rental house we were moving out of. She had known this from the beginning, but once the first house was finished, I never heard from her again. I called her to remind her about the second house. She came by and looked around. She never called me back with a price or to tell me whether she could fit it in her schedule. That was disappointing since she knew from the beginning that I wanted more work done. By the time I finally heard from her, I had already scheduled another company to clean the second house. She and her crew did not do a bad job. They just didn't do a Great Job, which was what I expected.

Overall what they did was good based on the $99.00 special. However, I had been asked what did I need done, but, then they did only what they wanted to do, and that was a basic surface cleaning. They were obviously in a hurry, probably due to an enormous and unepected response to their special. We are in the process of preparing our house for sale, and I had already did an overall basic/surface cleaning, and only needed some specific areas addressed. However, I was told more about what they didn't do versus what they did do. The owner I assume or Supervisor was nice, but, a little too abrasive in her approach. People who are soliciting services should not be addressed the same way their employees are. The Superviosr stated that if we had any problems or concerns to call, and they would come back. The offer was considerate, but, we were under a time constraint, and I had rather the job be done the way I needed it done the first time.

I needed a move-out cleaning done in a short time frame. Renee responded to me in a very timely manner, and she was so professional and courteous. I could tell, immediately that this was someone who cares, and takes pride in her business. When I told her this was a move-out, and that the house was pretty clean, but just needed some detailing, I think she was skeptical at first, based on prior experiences with move-outs. But her team came in, did the work, and it looked great. Thank you, Renee and team for going the extra mile to accommodate my schedule and doing a great job!

I had been eyeing this cleaning service based on the good reviews on Angie's list for a while now, being as both my husband and I are tired of living in squalor, yet never seem to find the time to clean our house. When they posted a big deal on Angie's list, that was all the motivation I needed to give them a try. Renee and two other ladies showed up right when they said they would and cleaned my house, front to back while I hid out in the back. I had given them two areas to leave alone because we didn't want the things there disturbed - my desk and my husband's work table - both of which were left untouched. I hadn't realized how dirty my house was before they started, and had almost forgotten what it was like to have the whole house clean at once. They were quick, efficient, and even did things I wasn't expecting, like emptying trash cans, straigtening up, etc. They left the house clean, orderly, and smelling nice.

We used them when they had the "Big Deal" through Angie's List. It was $80.00 for four hours. The personality of the leader of the group stood out. They did a really nice job and went above and beyond what you normally get. They did the work very well and efficient. They were considerate of the things we were doing in the house and moved around us easily.

They were nice. I would rate them high across the board. They were on time and very diligent with their work. They did more than what I expected them to do. They were very good value for the money I paid them. They seem to be reputable and do very good work. I would recommend them to others.

Very professional on the phone and in person. Arrived with plenty of staff to accomplish the work quickly. when they left, house looked and smelled clean and fresh. workers were quiet and diligent.

It was wonderful. Not only did they do a great job on the normal kitchen, bathrooms, vacuuming, etc. I had had construction done recently and there seemed to be dust everywhere that would not go away. They dusted everything, fans, blinds, moulding, floor boards, and furniture. The dust is gone. The amazing thing was that they accomplished all a this with only 3 people in just 2 hours. These women are cleaning goddesses.

I was pleased with the responsiveness and quality of the work performed. There was one area in the kitchen where some excessive grease build-up was not completely removed, but to be fair, the kitchen was a mess. She and her partner did a great job overall. Renee is very friendly and courteous. I will definitely use SSC again.

The ladies were asked to thoroughly vacuum the house and clean all the hardwood floors, kitchen floor and all the bathroom floors. They cleaned all the bathrooms as well. They also cleaned the kitchen even though I did not ask them to do this (many thanks!!!!). I really appreciate the time they took to also dust the furniture.

4/2 - Purchased Big Deal Coupon for Housecleaning online. Stated in terms of Big Deal-"Appointments will be scheduled on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis" 4/4-Called to try and set up appointment for Friday 4/8 if possible, with Friday 4/22 as back-up date. Was told to send an e-mail so that the person handling the scheduling could check things out. 4/4-(11:49am) Sent e-mail date requests. 4/5-(8:36am)Sent e-mail to confirm my e-mail had been received since I didn't get a reply. 4/5-(9:22am)Got an e-mail confirming my e-mail went through, but that was the extent of the e-mail. 4/7-(2:06pm)Sent e-mail to say I assumed the 8th was not an option since I hadn't received a reply. Missed a call from company, received voicemail letting me know that Fridays didn't really work for them since they weren't in my area, and that a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday would be best. 4/7-(3:22pm)Sent e-mail asking which afternoon would work in May, 5/23, 5/24, or 5/26 since I would be asking for the afternoon off from work. 4/13-(7:48am)Sent e-mail letting them know I still had not receive a reply to my e-mail asking which of the three dates would work best. 4/13-(11:34am)Received e-mail saying that they would get back to me after looking into things over the weekend. 4/18-(9am)Sent e-mail asking if there was any info on a date we could confirm. 4/18-(9:27am)Received e-mail confirming 5/23, but that they couldn't confirm a time. 4/18-(9:43am)Sent e-mail confirming I had cleared the afternoon with work, and that the start time couldn't be earlier than 12:30, and the finish time had to be by 5:30 at the latest. Asked when they would be able to confirm a time. 4/19-(1:59pm)Received e-mail saying that they didn't know the specific start time, it would be between 12:30 and 3:00, and that May 19th would be the earliest they could confirm the start time. 4/19-(3:25pm)Sent e-mail to let them know that after two weeks of trying to pin down a specific appointment I was not interested and had cancelled my Big Deal coupon with Angie's list. I can't comment on the actual housecleaning performed, only on the scheduling hassles documented above.

Renee took my call for an estimate on housecleaning and came to do a walkthrough two days later. She had some extenuating circumstances and ended up being late, but called to let me know that she was running late, which I appreciated. At that point, I was still interested in possibly using her company. During the walkthrough, I asked about doing window cleaning, since my windows need a through cleaning and it was mentioned in one of the other reviews, but she said that she hates doing windows and left it at that. At the end of the walkthrough, she had me write down my e-mail address for her because the spelling is odd, and said she'd e-mail me the estimate so we could talk about scheduling a cleaning day. I never heard back from her, by phone or by e-mail.

There was nothing I disliked. I like them and recommend them. They were punctual and did a thorough job.

They do a very thorough work. I have never had any issues with them leaving anything uncleaned. They don?t clean the windows unless you request as it has additional charges. They clean everything else in the house. They sanitize the bathroom and the kitchen. They move the pictures and framed and clean up. They are very thorough. They are here for about five hours. They are very flexible working around me.

She and two other ladies arrived exactly on time on the scheduled day. They got straight to work with one lady in each room and I went back to work. When they had finished I examined all of their work and was extremely pleased. The rooms were literally clean from floor to ceiling. I couldn't ask for anything better. The house truly sparkled. I knew that the price would be somewhere around $200 for the initial cleaning even before I called her. I opted to pay the additional $25 to clean the windows. I am considering having Renee clean on a regular basis and would highly recommend S.S.C. to anyone that need their services.

These ladies come in and buzz around the house, cleaning from top to bottom (literally). They have a system that makes the floor cleaning last so any dust that falls will be scooped up just before they leave. They do an excellent job. I highly recommend them. One time one of the ladies accidentally broke a picture frame when she was dusting and Renee, the owner went to get a replacement frame that same day, even though I told her it was unnecessary.

Renee and her partner/assistant did an outstanding job. The house was a mess, they spent hours more than they had originally estimated, and kept going until it was completely finished. She was a total professional, very knowledgable and friendly. I will definitely use SSC in the future.

Excellent experience. When i first called Renee she came to my house that evening to see the house so that she could give me a cost and time estimate. She was extremely professional from the first point of contact. She always called me back when she said that she would. (When I first called, she was in a home cleaning and did not want to take up that person's time by talking to another customer.) When she went through my house, she was respectful and was very clear about the specifics of her team's work. I liked her clarity -prevents assumptions before she works in a home. When we made an appt for the work to be done, her team was prompt, they got right to work, they had all of their supplies and had few questions. Unfortunately my a/c had gone out unexpectedly the day before. It was 90 degrees or more when they arrived. Renee did note to me that normally her team would not work under those circumstances (given the chemicals and physicality). She asked that in the future that I let her know the circumstances so that the work could be rescheduled. However, neither she nor any member of her team once complained as they started to work. They completed the work in under 2 hours and did a fantastic job. Even a week later I haven't found any spots that were missed. I plan to use the company on a regular basis.
