The Cleaning Authority was terrible. They were recently bought out by another company. The original company did quite well and we've had them probably close to 2 years. Never had a problem. Once it was bought out they did more damage to my house in a month than anybody has done in 2 years. They took the metal grades of the stove and put them on the wood island which created huge scratches in the polyurethane in the island. So it's going to cost me $1000 to finish this thing. There was blatant disregard and no understanding of care for a home. I came home, saw the scratches and fired them immediately. They hit the furniture with vacuums, they hit the wall the floor boards and my wife constantly warned them not to run the vacuum into the furniture because it was chipping. The original company took 4 hours to clean the house and the new company took 2 hours. So they were clearly rushed and in doing so they damaged lots of things. They charged $180 a week so between $700 to $800 a month.

It was good and they are still working for me. Their quality of work is as good as any cleaning service and it is convenient and prompt.

I love those guys, they're great. They just do a great job. I haven't had any problems. They pretty much do everything that we agreed they would do. We have an ongoing, they come every two weeks.

overall they do a good job, but sometimes they miss the details of the detailed cleaning.

We have had a long-term relationship with The Cleaning Authority.  The service has been mostly good with several notable exceptions (they did not clean a particular part of the house that was part of the remit and price for over a year...I had to call their attention to it).  Most recently, they broke something in the house, and they did not report it to us in a proactive manner.  I got home and found this, and called the owner to discuss how to fix the item.  He did not assume any responsibility, and he did not fix the item.  He was also extraordinarily rude to me, in particular (would only speak to my husband...I had been the primary point of contact for the entire relationships).  The trust has been irrevocably broken and we will, unfortunately, be looking for a new service.

I have been happy with their work. I would recommend them.

I'm not all that pleased with the Cleaning Authority. I went with them because they have a service where every week, they do a general cleaning, but then they have one area where they do a detailed cleaning. They have different people come all the time. It's hard to communicate with them. A lot of times, they don't do a good job on the detailed cleaning.

Very easy to work with when schedule changes are required.   Very friendly management.   Team sometimes arrives a bit early or late presumably due to earlier appointment duration(s).  However, appointment times are "estimates" and not guaranteed - this is clearly indicated by company.

They are very dependable. They are there the time they say they will be. They do a good job cleaning my house.

They are reliable and thorough.  I would recommend them to others.

Overall the initial experience went fine.  Had a positive estimate and on-site review.  Owner expected the cleaning to take about 6 hours for the initial clean.  The house was a mess and I expected 6 hours to be about the right amount of time based on previous cleanings many years ago.  The price was certainly reasonable for the size house as well as the amount of cleaning required, in fact we expected something more in the $200 range for initial cleanings.

The two person team arrived later than expected, showing up about thirty minutes late, again not a problem since we were not the first house of the day.  They spent the entire day cleaning.  The job performed was great, the place really looked clean.  However, around 2pm they still had not made it downstairs and an extra worker was called in.  In the end they left by 5:30 in the afternoon and parts of the downstairs were not nearly as clean as parts of the upstairs appeared to be.  Overall however, the house was clean.

We intended to continue the service, however the day before the next clean (two weeks later) we got a phone call from someone who claimed they were with the company and told me I needed to call the owner to discuss a rate increase before they could come back out.  I had two major issues with this: 1) It was the day before the next cleaning two weeks later instead of the day(s) after the first cleaning and 2) I should not be told to call a business to discuss rate increases, that's not my problem especially since we agreed on a price for the initial cleanings and every cleaning there after and I had the owners signature on the quote sheet.

When I talked with the owner he said they needed to charge more for the second cleaning to make up the cost difference because they had to stay so long.  Based on the math they arrived around 11:30 and stayed until 5:30 which is 6 hours, exactly what he estimated it would take.  I was a little skeptical of the rate increase of an additional $75.  We declined to continue service and have since hired another firm.

Overall the company did a great job cleaning the place but the professionalism of the company is an important factor to me and after the initial cleaning they failed to impress.

I think are dependable and reliable. Also, I like that they use environmentally friendly products.

They cleaned really well, but the people they sent out broke things.  There were two or three of them and they were in such a hurry.  I had a problem with them.  I didn't like them.  I got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore.  Now I use somebody different.

I think the company was really good. I was satisfied with the company.

In the last 4 cleanings I have had to call to have my oven repaired because oven door was locked open my the cleaners.
The top of a hurrican lamp was broken.
A lamp in my bedroom no longer works after their service.  The cleaners left light unplugged put neither switch works now.

This was not the first items broken.  I could not get reimbursed for $80 service for stove, after email and letters.  I never bothered to summit for last breakage.

After most cleaning many items were not return where they were taken from and sometimes lost for days.

They do a good job and they are very flexible with my schedule even when I had to reschedule at the last minute.  I was in and out of the hospital so I appreciated them doing that. 

They are terrific. They vary their price depending on the size of the house. They are courteous and punctual. They use environmentally friendly products. I have been very happy with the service. It is a little different. It is a rotational thing; one time they will emphasize the kitchen and the next time the bathroom. Once you understand what they are doing, it works nicely. I have been using them for about six to eight months. They are a new company and the price is good.

I have used the cleaning authority for three years. They are timely, reliable and flexible.

They were easy to work with and very professional. They are punctual and they always do a good job. I've been happy with their service. I am moving and will be unable to use them, but I would definitely recommend them to others.

They clean the whole house and focus on a specific place each time they come out. They are always on each time and are fabulous and insured. They send two people when they come out so they get a lot done. They leave a list of what they did while they were there.

Rochelle came over and gave an estimate based on the size of the house, it's current level of dirtiness, and how many people lived there (2). She gave me an estimate for $75 every two weeks. They did an initial all over clean before that rotation started. I gave them a key to the house and they came in and cleaned when we were not home. They did a fantastic job. Someone came after them and spot checked. Rochelle made it very clear that if we were very unhappy the situation would be corrected. We never had any problems, however. They do a great job. Unfortunately we moved to a different city and they don't come there, but I would recommend them to anyone.

They arrived late in the afternoon and to be able to finish the work, they called 2 more teams on top of the two teams that were already here. Unacceptable. Way too many people here, but to my surprise they stayed organized. The work was ok, but not great. Several areas were missed or done poorly. So, I called the next day and that was two days ago and I am still waiting for a call back. Unacceptable. The price is high and I expect them to deliver what they promised for the money I paid. They didn't. Another problem, I spent half hour putting things back after they left. They just moved things out of the way to clean under and didn't bother to put them back. They also reorganized my house a little like putting cushions on the sofa differently than I had them. I am currently looking for somebody else and would NOT recommend the Cleaning Authority.
