Norby Painting

The job went just as Dave had promised. Our ceilings look great.

I can?t say enough good things about Norby Painting!  Dave and his team painted the interior of my home in 2012 and I hired him again for my new house.  He and his team take pride in their work and do a phenomenal job!  The walls look brand new again!  I?d use him again and again for all my painting needs.  
Work done:
Drywall patching and painting in living room, breakfast nook, kitchen, dining room, foyer, stairway, upstairs hallway, master bath,
master bedroom, and guest bathroom.

It went very well. They were very timely, did a great job and did exactly what he said he was gonna do. They were in and out in one day, cleaned up and everything. Nobody was home so they just came in, the shutters were painted, all the bushes were fine and there wasn't any debris lying around or anything like that. You wouldn't even know that they've been there.

David did some interior painting for me back in 2003. When I needed more painting done this January, I left a phone message for him on 1/6/14. He replied the following day. On 1/9 he dropped by my townhouse and we discussed my painting and pressure-washing needs. I received his estimate via email on 1/13. His estimate was preferable to one I had received from another company, and we scheduled the work for 1/16. He said that 2 or 3 associates, including a supervisor, would actually do the work.



David and three associates arrived at 8:00 on 1/16, and after instructions from David, the associates began the focused painting I had requested. This included some entire walls, three ceilings, several cracks and other blemishes in walls and ceilings, most baseboards, all window sills, some door edges, and the front door and trim. They had also planned to paint the front stoop that day, but the outdoor temperature was too low. They also pressure-washed the front porch and sidewalk and the back patio. They finished around 3:30. David and one associate returned the following day and painted the front stoop.



David and his associates did excellent work and were always punctual, pleasant, considerate, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Dave came out to give me my estimate the same day that I called.  Dave and his crew did an excellent job painting my entire home.  I also had them install chair rail in my dinette area which looks beautiful.  They were very neat and clean throughout the entire process.  I'm very happy with the level of service provided.

Had a set of two panel smooth finish pantry doors sprayed with oil paint to match existing doors in the house. Dave sanded and sprayed the doors and door trim to match the existing smooth finish doors in our home.Dave also allowed me to bring the doors to him as I did not have a good ventilated location to spray the doors at my home.
This was a big help that most companies were not willing to do for us consequently, I will be calling Dave in the spring to review the exterior work at my home as well.

Dave was very responsive to phone calls, from coming out for the estimate to follow up questions.  They started the work and on a Tuesday and finished up on Friday.  They were very detailed with the speckling , and trapped off walls/furniture as needed.  The paint looks great...very higher quality work.  The crown molding looks great as well.  Both Dave and his assistant were very professional and  trustworthy.  I would definitely have them do future work.

Dave Norby, the painter, has done a lot for us. The interior painting was done wonderfully. He did a good job with the exterior painting as well. His prices were average. We crossed it out with other people and there were people who were a lot more expensive than him. There were probably people we could have found that were less. He does use a crew of painters so it's not only him on the site. He is the one who comes out to do the estimate. His crew chief that he has come out when he is not around is very reliable and does keep the rest of the crew on track. It somewhat concerns me that you don't always have the owner of the company there on site, but he does do a good job of making sure he has got a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and qualified person to be there in his absence. That is assuring. He is good with responsiveness.

We are very please with the David and his team. We chose several colors for each room and they did a great job! Paul was the supervisor on the job and he is very thorugh in his work detail, on time every day and they leave the area clean. The walls are smooth, paint is done well, no streaks, and no overlap on trim or baseboards. We are planning to have them come back in Spring to paint our deck and outside. Highly recommend them and plan to use them again.

We loved Jeff Norby. I thought he was average to high priced. The quality of the work was very good. They worked quickly and efficiently. They got the job done quickly and cleaned up very well. We no longer live in that home but the paint held up very well while we were there.

I had a great experience with Norby Painting. It took several days but they were prompt, punctual and thorough. They did more than what they had been contracted to do.

The people from Norby Painting were on time and very courteous. They did an excellent job and I will recommend them to my family. They were great.

Our experience with Norby Painting from beginning to end was nothing short of 5 star's. Even though they were not the least expensive estimate we got we chose them based on reports from friends that had used them and were very satisfied and knowing that you get what you pay for we chose quality over price. The price however was in the ball park of what we were looking to pay. They painted the entire exterior of our 3 story cedar home and several of the rooms inside our home. Several years later the exterior paint still looks new, no chips or flaking, very satisfied. The interior of the home was my main concern as I am very picky about details. Norby Painting exceeded my expectations, always prompt, excellent workmanship and cleaned the job site every day after they finished. I would use them again without any hesitation.

Dave Norby did a great job. He was on time, friendly and my house looks great. Many of my neighbors came by and told me how good my house looks. Dave left my yard looking great also. No sign that he was even here except that the house looks great. I would definitely use Dave again. I have told all of my friends about him and I think some of my neighbors have already contacted him about painting their house. Dave is a good guy. Very personable. Christian man, great family.

David's charges are reasonable, he is very professional and does a very good job. We are happy customers.

Dave and his crew were very professional and the quality of the work was outstanding. They were very careful with all of my furniture, floors etc. The first patched any holes or areas on the walls that needed fixing, taped around all the areas that were not to be painted and then did all of the interior painting. They were also very neat and cleaned up everything. I would absolutely call David again to do any painting that I needed done. He's the best painter that I've ever used.

I couldn't be happier! The finished product is fantastic. Dave and his assistant were polite, punctual, and professional. They finished the job quickly and made many accommodations for my own poor planning. They picked up extra paint when I changed my mind about the color of the dining room. I am very pleased to recommend them to anyone.

We're pleased with the final product & the price. Some things could have been better. More supervision by Dave, better communication (how long the project would take), have the whole crew here more often so the work would go faster, more careful work. I had to point out paint on the tile. On the positive side, Dave came quickly when I needed the bay window painted right away. The end result is good. The price was right.

I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND CLEANED UP PRETTY WELL. I AM NOT SURE IF HE WAS REASONABLY PRICED. I RECEIVED 3 QUOTES - $800, $1300 AND $2400, SO I CHOSE THE QUOTE IN THE MIDDLE.

DAVID WAS ALWAYS ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM FOR SIMILAR WORK.
