Zach and his assistant were very good, very prompt, and did a good job.

My backyard had become very overgrown with weeds, kudzu, ivy, volunteer trees. They spent just 1/2 day with a sizeable crew and completely cleared it out. Trimmed the bushes in the front yard and cut some overhanging tree limbs. Very prompt, very easy to work with. They took all the waste away with them. The boss was there on site the whole time. They did a great job and I have just booked them for a return visit.

For the first year or so the work was A+ but the man had some personal issues that caused him to sub contract the work to another service which was pathetic, told him they came when they didn't, very poor work, and that is what caused us to make a change.

Benjamin and his guys are AWESOME! They came when they said they would. He consulted with me about our shrub trim and pruning needs and made sound recommendations. Although they came specifically to trim our shrubs, they took the time and effort to blow the leaves off the lawn, giving our yard a nice, clean look. We've been using Benjamin for years now and would never think of going to anyone else for our lawn care needs.

Benjamin and his team started my front lawn from seed in the fall. Today they came out and blew leaves, mowed, put winterizer down and sprayed for weeds. They always do a great job!

In preparation for our son's wedding, rehearsal dinner and the ensuing guests, Benjamin and his team swept in and spruced up our yard, trimmed our shrubs, threw mulch and recommended opportunities to make our yard shine. I was overwhelmed with so many details, and Benjamin took care of everything, freeing me up to worry about things I could control. He is ALWAYS there for us and ALWAYS does a tremendous job at very reasonable prices. He's the best!

Benjamin and his team are always on time and remember how we like the hedges to look each summer. I also had some plants added and others moved. Benjamin is always attentive and helps me decide where they would be best suited. I made a lot of changes during the process and he easily accommadated these requests.

Mr. Manfre came to our church in Waxhaw NC and gave his time and supplied mulch to help spruce up the front of our church. Not only did he give his time his employee's also came out. They did a great job. They cut grass, provided mulch for the flower beds, sprayed for weeds and cleaned up. It was a blessing to our church. If we ever need any work done at our house or church again we will be calling Mr. Manfre. His crew is amazing. They are very nice and Mr. Manfre himself is a great honest man. We can't thank him enough for all he has done. We highly recommend him for all your landscaping needs.

As noted above, I am extremely happy with the service I receive from Hamptonscape and will continue to use them.

This company provided exactly the services I needed, promptly and for a reasonable price. They did a great job. The owner was on site the whole time and was very easy to work with. They were prompt and worked quickly, completing the task in about three hours (they had several workers). I was very satisfied with their work and would definitely use them again.

Benjamin's team did our lawn just in time for our out of town guests. Our lawn looked awesome! Green, trim and evenly mowed. His team is the BEST!

Benjamin's team is thorough and prompt providing excellent, reliable, work. Anything from mowing, to pruning shrubs/bushes to edging/blowing or fertilizing.

This project started with me looking thru Angie's List for someone to spread mulch. I ran across Hamptonscapes, and was impressed with their ratings and numerous good reviews. I contacted Benjamin via email, which appears to be the quickest way to get in touch with him as he stays very busy, and he came out several days later to look at our project and give us an estimate. We needed mulch spread over an approximately 1/4 acre area that is steeply sloped and has no access to equipment such as a bobcat or tractor to help with transferring mulch. The area has numerous flowers and shrubs, a waterfall, several patios and steps that would require careful placing of mulch that would have to be done by hand. In addition, we needed mini nuggets spread in several flower beds in our front yard and down one side of our driveway.
After talking with Benjamin about the proposed project and finding out he was licensed and insured, actually worked with his crew on every project, did not want any money until the job was completed and we were satisfied, and heard of his work ethic and belief in doing each job he undertook in a professional manner, I was very impressed. His estimate for doing the work was very reasonable, particularly considering the challenging terrain in the back yard.
The scheduling of the job was a little tricky as we had to wait until work was completed by another company who was painting our house trim and deck, but we finally arrived at a workable date a couple of weeks out. We had the mulch and mini nuggets delivered and dumped on our driveway the day before the work was to start. Benjamin and his crew of 5 men arrived around 7 a.m. and got right to work. My husband and I were amazed at how quickly and efficiently they hauled huge bucket after bucket of mulch up and down the steps and slopes on their shoulders, and hand spread mulch around flowers, rocks, bushes, pond, etc. We were blown away by the fact that they finished this huge project in 3 hours, and did an exceptional job. They cleaned up after themselves and not a trace of mulch was left on the driveway or stone steps after they were done.
In addition, Benjamin pointed out to us a stone and quot;stepand quot; that was dangerously loose, and he and his men re-cemented the stone in place. He did this for no extra charge.
We were very happy with the completed job and would hire Benjamin and his crew again without hesitation.

I'm trying to sell my house--for a long time--and Benjamin has helped time and time again as I try to enhance my six acres. Thinking that street noise might be a potential negative, and at the same time wanting to give the end of the drive a more finished look, I consulted Benjamin and he came up with a great idea that would not only look good but would save me a lot of money. By transplanting some well-established, large shrubs/small trees that would have cost a fortune to buy at that size, a more effective barrier could be formed and then filled in with smaller shrubs and grasses for variety. The transplanted trees would not be missed from their original location at the far back of the property.

Benjamin Manfre has come to my rescue quickly on more than one occasion--when a huge tree was toppled in a storm, he and his crew were there within hours to remove it. He has always gone above and beyond the call of duty, suggesting ways to spread my budget across this large property and keep it looking good. He even took up part of my old brick walkway and leveled it without my ever having mentioned it. Hamptonscape does all my routine lawn care in addition to the special projects. I can't thank him enough for all the small things he has done, besides keeping the larger work going on a steady basis.

He is probably the most responsive professional with whom I've had the pleasure to work, and I would highly recommend him.

Benjamin and his crew worked fast, efficiently, and did an amazing job on our very neglected yard. The crew arrived on time as promised, and Benjamin patiently walked the yard with us as we described what we wanted done. He gave great advice on what should stay and what sould go, and also what things to consider before doing anything else in the future. He communicated well and even sent update pics via email during the process. When I came home from work I was thrilled with the result and was impressed with how much they were able to accomplish and in such a short time. Better than expected. The leaf removal has far exceeded my expectations compared to my experience doing it myself in the prior Fall/Winter months. It is premature to evaluate the service on an overall/annual basis as we've just hired Benjamin / Hampton Scape in the fourth quarter of 2011. The twice a month visits have been highly effective. The out-of-scope services were done over a two month period and my yard is much improved as a result. The more important evaluation will be in the Spring and Summer when my yard needs more regular attention.

Great experience, these guys came in and did everything they said they would. Not pushy with trying to sell extras which I appreciate very much. Overall good job and will use them again.

We recently moved into a new home and had Benjamin and his crew trim up our yard and they did a GREAT job. At that time, we discussed some overgrown bushes in our front yard and they came out another day and removed a few of them as well - a job that would have taken me a reasonable amount of time. His crew it out quickly and took the bushes away with them. We also used them to cut my lawn when I couldn't get to it. We will continue to use Benjamin and his crew in the future for various projects - next one is probably mulch. When we bought our house last year we inherited a beautiful but complicated yard. We are not keen gardeners and had really let things slip. We were in need of a full yard clean-up - we had weeds waist high in some places and were expecting a letter from the Homeowners Association any day!! Benjamin threw a team of 8 people on to the project. The worked tirelessly all day and made a huge difference. They took away a truck full of weeds, did a great job pruning bushes and had wonderful suggestions about how we could simplify things to make the yard easier to maintain.
