The move was much less stressful than I thought it was going to be. The crew of 4 men & 2 trucks moved us on the hottest day Charlotte has ever had. The guys arrived at the time expected and worked all day taking no breaks, not even lunch. We were very pleased with the job they did. We still have a few boxes to unpack but so far we have not found anything damaged by the move. I would highly recommend Easy Movers. Their employees are great!

The moving team was professional, friendly and considerate of our belongings. The team was timely and first walked through our house to understand what was going on the truck. They then explained their process so we knew what to expect. They did a great job.

The movers (Melvin and Warren) were professional and friendly. They took good care of my items during the packing and the move. A piece of glass shelving was broken and a ceiling tile damaged, but the owner of the company has offered to pay for the repairs immediately. Melvin called after the move to find out how I had settled in. Don also called after the move to find out how everything went. The company was rated highly on Angie's List and also recommended by friends. I would highly recommended using Easy Movers.

Things went very well and we were very pleased. Barry, Larry, and Devon made some things happen that I thought practically impossible given the size of our furniture and the angles in our new house. But they did it and with very few and very understandable dings in our walls. We had most everything packed and so they only needed to take boxes and furniture in their truck. One hiccup was that we contracted to have our kitchen packed and moved,but the moving crew wasn't told, so a lot of time was used on the day of the move to pack the kitchen. Eventually, my wife and I called a halt to the kitchen packing, realizing that it could put us way over the time we allotted for the move and very late in to the night by the time we would have things into the new house, not an option since we have a newborn and a 3 yr old. There was also a small billing problem where I received a call a week later asking for more money due to an error in tallying the invoice. We paid without argument.

Move went great. Easy Movers sent 6 men and two trucks to perform the move. Arrived on time and immediately went to work loading the truck. Damage to furniture is always a concern when moving, but the team wrapped all furniture prior to move and no damage occurred. The team was also careful about walls, railings, etc. The crew worked diligently throughout the day even though it seemed like the hottest day of the year and many boxes were heavy (books). Entire move came in under budget both in terms of cost and time (8 actual hours vs. 12 estimated). I would highly recommend Easy Movers for people considering a local move.

I was so impressed with the professionalism of this company! They promised me a quote the same afternoon that Glenn came by, and I had it in my email in-box within an hour or so. They were very prompt and courteous, and I would have loved to use them to help us move.

We moved to a new home seven miles from our old one. Got three quotes, all from Angie's List movers and decided Easy Movers fit our needs best. We loaded the old house on a Sunday, stored overnight on the truck, and loaded out into the new home after closings on a Monday. They were best able to accommodate this schedule. The office staff was courteous and organized. The crew was polite and worked diligently without taking breaks. Quick and careful. Unfortunately, it rained in the night and the truck leaked so we had some water damage to some boxes, luckily containing washable items. Our washer, dryer, refrigerator and upright freezer had scratches, but owner Don was prompt to come out with the crew team leader and buff out most of the damage and touch up the rest very satisfactorily. He was very apologetic and polite. The second day crew was short a man due to clerical error (so we were told) but the cost was adjusted and they still came in under time quote.

3 men did the work. I think they underestimated the time required but they finished the move as requested within one day.

The guys on our crew worked hard. It took 6 guys 2 days and 2 trucks to get everything done (we have a lot of junk). The estimate was for the full crew for 12 hours each day. The job was accomplished in less than 12 hours each day. The days were warm and the guys felt it. But they kept moving and got the job done. Overall the boxes ended up in the right rooms. They even moved one piece of furniture that was already in the house to make room for something else to go on that wall. They were polite and courteous. I was surprised that they did not bring their own water jugs - given the heat of the day.

There is no way to describe how happy I am that we hired Easy Movers. My parents are not in the best of health, and we were all dreading the move. No one wants to leave their lifetime home...but Easy Movers made it seem almost easy. Guess that's how they picked the name, and it is truly appropriate. It could not have been better. They were prompt, professional, patient with all of our demands, and wonderful guys to work with. I never would have believed that moving elderly people out of their home of 50 years could be so easy and stress free. Easy Movers is absolutely the best! I would recommend them unequivocally to anyone who is planning any kind of move. You'll be thrilled with their work as I have always been.

Very professional and quick to deliver an estimate. Made the scheduling process very easy. Overall, the movers were professional and courteous. There was some damage to a dresser that was discovered later and Michelle was very prompt about getting that repaired to our satisfaction. They also left quite a few things at our old home causing us to have to spend 2-3 hours transporting to our new home. In retrospect, I believe that the truck was actually full and they could not fit any more things in, but they never communicated that to us so we were quite surprised to discover that a lot of things were left behind. There was also damage done to a wall as they were trying to move a heavy piece upstairs. I do believe that they are dedicated to customer service as they responded quickly to our concerns.

PERFECT! Carey sent Dewey for estimate. Fun guy, knew his job. No sales pitch, A BIG PLUS! Walked through the rooms, asked questions, asked if we had questions and said Carey would get back to us w/an estimate. She did in a very timely manner. Got quote from another company also. Experience not nearly as pleasant. Other company was approx. $200 cheaper but felt good about Easy Movers. Carey put her arm around me via the phone several times. I was so concerned about some of the items listed above not to mention the freshly painted walls and wood floors in our new home. Trevor and his crew, Omar, Donyell, and Dount showed up right on time. Worked hard, independently, w/good attitudes, steadily BUT not a fire drill....which was one of my concerns. Now my stress began...unloading in the new house. Freshly painted EVERYTHING! Door jambs are shiny white. NOT ONE MARK, NOT ONE! ANYWHERE! Walls, floors, and furniture, all great. Attention to detail! Still came in 1 hr UNDER estimated time.

Apparently, Easy Movers did not want to hire labor only because they made retaining this service cost prohibitive.

Three men arrived on time with their truck and packing gear and promptly surveyed the furniture and appliances to move and began loading up. They were finished loading in less than 2 hours as I had done the personal packing & moving. We drove to the new location and unpacking went as quickly as the loading. In fact, I had trouble keeping up with them, to tell them where to put things. We actually had fun, kidding around. Nice guys.

The Easy Movers crew did an excellent job. They were on time, gentle with my things, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I am hard to please, and I highly recommend them.

WORKERS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO WORK PACKING THE TRUCK. THE UNPACKING WAS EFFICIENT WITH NO COMPLAINTS IN HANDLING THE FURNITURE AND MAKING SURE THEY DID NOT SCRATCH THE WALLS, THE FLOORS (HARDWOOD) OR THE FURNITURE.

Setting up an estimate was very easy. Mr. Cole came by at the scheduled time to perform the estimate. However, I found that the price quoted was considerably more than what I paid 9 months ago to move into my townhome. I was told that the move would take approx. 11 hours with 4 men and 2 trucks. Did I mention that I am in a townhome? 2 Trucks? 11 Hours? When I moved into my townhome 9 months ago, I paid another moving company $850 for 4 men, 1 truck and it only took 6 hours. Based upon my previous experience, I would not suggest going with Easy Movers. Their estimate is way too high. In the end, I ended up contacting the same movers that I used before (who are also on Angie's list). They quoted me between 5 and 7 hours with 4 men and one truck. Needless to say, the estimated cost was approx. $900.

The estimate was done in a timely manner. Phone contact with the company prior to and during the move was polite and friendly. The moving crew padded and covered the wood floor and carpets. All furniture was blanketed and wrapped very well. The men worked at a admirable pace and were polite and accommodating. The estimated price was comparable to other moving companies. I would not hesitate to use Easy Movers for another move.

Move went well. Almost ran out of room in the truck but the guys somehow got it all in. Had a couple wall dings, which is to say far fewer than any other move we've done. No damage to any furnishings. Still can't figure out how they got some of those items up the stairs without damage. Only recommendation is to let them know ahead of time if you have cats. I have never seen such a violent allergic reaction to a pet.

Hard workers without damaging any of our furniture. We are moving again to fort mill, sc early next year and will again use EASY MOVERS. GREAT JOB!

It was a good experience. They were helpful and friendly, and flexible with changes I had.

From the very beginning when Dewey came to quote on the job, he was very personable and professional. They were able to do the job 24 hours after they quoted! It seemed as if they had a true team effort going not only with the 4 guys that I worked with, but also the owner and several of the workers in the office. About 4 hours into the job they realized that the hardwood floor protectors was not in the truck that finished loading first. While we were on our way the owner met us with what was need to protect all the hardwood floor and the new carpet! Impressive. Even the owner was courteous and professional. I would use and recommend Easy Movers to anyone!

They were on time and professional. The movers arrived with all the necessary equipment and immediately began helping us pack up and tote boxes to the truck. They had all the tools that they needed to help disassemble furniture etc. We were impressed with how hard they worked.

I scheduled an estimate for a residential move within the City of Charlotte, and took off time from work to meet the estimator, who was 30 minutes late. He provided some money-saving suggestions as we went through the process. I asked for a separate quote for packing. A timely estimate was provided via email, which did not include the packing estimate. I emailed a response, requesting the packing estimate, and the response from a sales representative stated that he was not sure if the estimator "misplaced the packing part of the estimate or not." He stated that they could come back out again. I responded by email stating that I was concerned about a couple of observations I had about the estimator, including the misplacement of my file and being asked to miss work again, and asked whether I could expect my belongings to be misplaced. I got what I considered to be a haughty response from the sales representative, citing the company's BBB and Angie's List reputation.
